  1. My old Orange ceffy had 18 x 11" rims on the rear........i am very UNcertain of the offset but i think it may have been -20ish. There was about 7" of dish. Obviously anything like that won't fit a vehicle that does not have the crazy/stupid bodymods that were carried out on that car.
  2. R32 and Ceffy is the same clutch.........sounds like your synchros are on the way out......or as mentioned, the system was not Bled properly.

    Give Away!

Guys that is a bit rough.........jks are one thing but they can be taken too far. Seriously....what type/colour/temprement are the kittens? Toilet trained? I assume they are not yet desexed/vaccinated etc? BOYS or GIRLS???????
  4. I have had a few items l[pinched and the odd SLIGHT bit of damage.......but overall they were REASONABLE. I am surprised that they are even entertaining your claim at all as most of the items damaged or stolen could have already been removed or damaged whilst in the care of your japanese agent.........were there pictures taken of EVERY POSSIBLE ASPECT of the vehicle whilst it was ON THE JAPANESE DOCKS???? with a signed certification from a senior member of staff in japan stating all of these items were in good condition and/or in the vehicle at that time????? I can not believ that you have gone on for so long yes they are trying to disuade you, thats what insurance complanies do......but taking into account that the majority of the damage was probably already on the vehicle when it left japan, is it really worth your time? Retrim/clean your seat, have your vehicle detailed, replace your guages and register the car and start enjoying it, isn't that what you bought it for? or was it just purchased as an expensive Lawn ornament. Sorry for the rant, but i personally feel that you are fighting a loosing battle for things that are very hard to prove the condition of. Happy motoring.
  5. Both are correct. Play nice kids
  6. Thanks for that big fella. Jayme-Lee is very happy with that pic.......not many pics are generally taken of the slower track........that one proved to her that she was sideways lol. Not bad for here second time drifting Three cheers for my drifter girl
  7. Twins = even more lag than i have..........not good for a drifter....... Get out there somehow big fella......you have no idea how much fun it is
  8. Settle down Dan.........Just because yours made some rediculous amount of power. Just you wait till i wind in more boost lol.......I am looking for that almighty HIT when it comes onto boost I want crazy wheelspin. PS: when am i gonna see that barge of yours out on the track sideways
  9. Sam tuned my CA18 Silvia (I know silvias are banned here ) And got a massive 278.1 RWHP out of it at just 15.5 psi. I couldn't be happier with his work.
  10. I believe the R32 and S13 tanks are all the same and are also interchangable with the Cefiro's.........or at least that is what a good wrecker told me. Might be worth investigating.
  11. By the sounds of it you will need the full hub assembly/shaft and possibly the diff. If you do require the hub assembly and the drive shaft let me know as we have one to suit the R200 style diff here. (The hubs etc are different to the S13 etc due to the drum handbrake setup)
  12. Spacing the factory guards is actually a very simple process......however i must mention that it will cause an increased gap between the top of your guard and the bonnet.....which i dare say some of you will be concerned about......I did this on my drift car and did it knowing this and it turns out i actually like it Basically you just remove your guards and then drill new holes directly next to your existing ones at the top of the GUARD where it bolts onto your car at the top near the bonnet. (obviously the holes need to be drilled towards the centre of the car to get the width benefit lol), then you simply bolt them back on. You will end up with the guard sitting slightly proud in comparison to the door......but again i think it looks phat. Now for the benfits......You already have the stock guards so you save money, standard guards are easier to find (at least they are for my silvia lol) and stronger, they are also smoother, as most glass guards have a hell of alot of ripples through them, even the genuine branded items as seen in Jaiks pic. Please let me know if any of you do this mod, and feel free to post pics of how you went. I have been telling everyone i can about this mod since i tried it, and so far everyone loves it.
  13. Well going by that single picture, the gap by the door is not perfect but it aint bad......just a pity about the front indicator and the front bar ..... It is for that reason that i have spaced out my factory guards to hourse my 17x 9" rims with 20mm spacers rather than get glass vented guards.
  14. DMD in Brisbane have the moulds for the vented front guards......despite not having fitted any of thier guards my sellf, i assume they fit well as does most of thier kits. Alternatively ADD in Brisbane may also have them, Danny is great to deal with. It would work out alot cheaper and easier to buy them locally. Depsite the access to imported parts, there are something i tend to buy locally, In fact i always TRY to buy local before importing to save hassles.
  15. You Bar is easily repairable, i have repaired alot worse. (Sections were missing lol) A repair such as that would cost a Maximum of $100 plus paint at your local "normal" paint shop. NB: those big expensive paint shops are not "Normal" lol Considering the cost of a replacement item compared to the repair i think it is plain to see which is the more logical answer.
  16. Are you serious? Feel free to point me in the direction of any tuner that has that kind of insurance....... If they did everyone with a dodgy engine would be on thier dyno waiting for the almighty bang in order to get a free rebuild. I assure you that Sam has the utmost respect for his customers cars. NO ONE but Sam will ever touch my car again.......
  17. Here is a pic of my first Cefiro........looked alot better before i met a drink driver This was one of the first turbo manual ceffy's in Qld
  18. R32 seats bolt straight into a C33 Laurel at all four bolt locations with no need for any modification. Enjoy your new seats
  19. It does have TEIN coilovers.......however keep in mind that this has been my wifes' daily driver. Therefore, in order to ensure she had no problems entering driveways etc. we chose that height. It is not actually that high....a few of the pics have been taken from on the ground. Plenty of adjustment left in the susp though if you want to slam it. You can have the side skirts for $16,500.......i will even throw in a free skyline
  20. There is always a little bit of movement on the asking price.....but rediculous/insulting offers will not be entertained. (Had a few already) Vehicle was painted about 12 months ago....always garaged since and polished every month. Vehicle had Timing belt changed at 104k. (water pump done as well, was not busted but figured we might as well do it while all the belts were off) Had the fuel fiter replaced at 101k along with plugs. Oil and filter done at 105k Oil and fiter along with plugs at 110k Oil and filter at 115k I did have a pic of the skirts, but i can't find it on my PC......They are exactly the same as the factory skirts seen on the 2 door versions. (except are obviously for 4 door. Very rare to find 4 door factory skirts)
  21. That is the correct way to remove them........if the base has been in there a while it can be tad difficult to remove. Basically you just need to sit behind you Front seats facing the back of the car......in a squatting position....then push the front of the base towards the back of the car and upwards at the same time.....it will then release......i have had some seats that required a bit of coaxing with a long screwdriver lol. The to remove the backrest, just follow the instructions given above by skypy
  22. I can't believe this is not sold yet......I understand it is not the cheapest available......but it is certainly one of the best (in my opinion, and i have seen a few ) Come and buy a QUALITY car......You know you want to
  23. This car is no longer being driven and needs a good home.....first to see it will buy.
  24. I have not seen the magazine as of yet, but i believe it is the CEF33 vehicle i see at the drift days at QR alot. It is quite a nice car......when the kit is attached, he has the same habit as me and tends to tear off the kit whilst drifting. At least it is having it's ass flogged, thats what the Jap owner no doubt built it for.
