just letting you know that factory cefiro rims are the same as silvia rims. Try NS.com if you don't have any luck here.
-
I have had a rack recoed previously and from memory they had to use a combination of R31 seals and S13 seals. I would suggest you just send it away.......that way they will just fit the correct seals, otherwise you may be sent the incorrect seals and be wasting your time.

I replied on your thread on NS.com.......

Just letting you know Mase.......Laurel/cefiro coil packs are IDENTICAL to CA18det packs. If you specifically want a ceffy/laurel one though i have one.
-
My reasoning for those comments is because he has actually told MY WIFE, that ZOOM imported the car!!!!!! (He of course did not know it was my wife when he said it..) hahaha lol
-
Just to clarify.......Yes that was my car.......Yes i did import it.....Doors and flares were welded in japan (NEVER Re-welded in OZ) BUT i did have the bodywork cut back to "start again" including re-shaping of the flares etc. To those that are not keen on the flares.......either am I......But i LOVE the rims. It did it's job for me as far as advertising. As far as Stoney and Zoom taking the credit.......I say let them have their 15mins of fame......if they can't do it for themselves, stealing the credit is their only option i suppose. Good luck to them and Stoney............ PS: I wanna see him match that colour/pearl HAHAHAHAHAHA

Just letting you fellow Laurel and cefiro owners know of something that i found out....... Many of you may have experienced issues with your coil packs shagging out. Findong Cefiro/Laurel RB20 coil packs can be a bit of a nightmare. (the plugs are different for the R32 RB20det) My new drift Pig (CA18det silvia) arrived last week suffering from similar issues........I had a few Laurel coil packs lying around so i thought i would see if they are the same.......As it turns out they are IDENTICAL (except for the colour of the boot) The part numbers are the same etc. I have since fitted FOUR laurel RB20det coilpacks to my CA18 silvia and it is running great. So if you need to replace one of your laurel/cefiro coilpacks.......you are able to use CA18det packs!!!! (my S13 is 1988, the packs may be different to the 91 CA18 items.) Hope that helps a few of you out.

import probs
RiverSide replied to philta's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
If you are on such a strict budget perhaps an imported car is not the right choice for you............i would suggest you simply grin and bear it........ -
By the looks of it, you have a "wonder" front bar with STAGE 1 "BN Sports" sideskirts. I am unaware of anyone in OZ that has a mould for the wonder kit. Sorry i could not be of more help, but maybe at least now you might have an idea of which skirts will suit your car best

Kiwi's Haul Tracer, 18th May
RiverSide replied to vrm's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
I was informed the ETA was for the 17th? i assume it has been delayed? -
If you plan to use it for drift, in my opinion, the best thing you could do is sell up all the goodies you have for your RB (including engine) and do an SR20det converion. The conversion is very simple and makes the car SOOOO easy to slide you will be amazed. The extra tourque does not go astray either. I have driven one SR cefiro, one SR laurel and frequently drifted another SR20 laurel (stock with 0.7bar boost and coilovers and diff) and i must say i was completing sections of Qld Raceway i could only have dreamt of in my RB powed laurel. Go for the SR.

Just deal with having to turn the indicators off manually......it would be alot of hassle for something that will so easily become habit.

Skyline Hybrid intercooler kit on Cefiro?
RiverSide replied to replicate's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
GTR coller will handle 220rwkw no problems -
If it is possible it will be from an S13.......my logice fr this is that the cefiro Boss kits will not fit onto R32 but they will fit S13........leading me to believe the S13 and A31 share the more simliar design. Let us know how you go.

Skyline Hybrid intercooler kit on Cefiro?
RiverSide replied to replicate's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
That sized cooler will fit really well behind your front bar........you will have to remove a small section of the UNDERSIDE of your reo........and then just trim the bar to suit. They sit quite nicely, i have installed that sized cooler on both cefiro's and laurels and they all came up great.....and as an added bonus, you don't see the hoses on the end tanks. Perfect fit. -

Skyline Hybrid intercooler kit on Cefiro?
RiverSide replied to replicate's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
JK--- BIG difference between the east bear piping and hybrid piping..........even when fitted to the type of vehicle the kit was designed for they take some fiddling to get them well mounted. -
Skyline Hybrid intercooler kit on Cefiro?
RiverSide replied to replicate's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
They do take a bit of fiddling around..........I personally tend to fit the hynrid cooler and have custom stainless/alloy piping made to suit........it ALWAYS fits better and costs bugger more than buying the hybrid piping kit. Not to mention that with the hybrid kit you need to buy a new smaller battery but with custom piping you can maintain your current battery most of the time. -
liners are like commodores in qld..........they are everywhere.......but it certainly entices people to do different things in order to stand out. My wife drives a liner.......and despite there being so many, we get alot of compliments on the car........ despite just being low on 18" wheels.

Grab some whiteline "pineapples" suited for S13.........they fit perfectly and will allow you to adjust the geometry of your cradle to increase or decrease grip depending on your purpose
-
PITS........they are on the gold caost and are the Power FC KINGS...... all my cars are tuned by pits.

I think you will find that Nathan has not been a part of aresspeed for quite some time. Ricky is the gentleman that is running the show at this stage. I have to agree that they have been having some service issues recently. Especially regarding the condition of their kits. I believe they are suffering from financial difficulties as they have closed their Gold Coast shop AND moved out of their original shop in Brissy. HOWEVER they have moved in next door to their old Brissy shop and are now sharing a shed with a panel shop. (I believe they are in the back of the shed) I hope that helps. If you manage to get a hold of them i suggest you speak to ricky.
