  1. R32 and S13 REAR strut braces are the same..........S13 braces will fit both front and rear. In fact you will find that most (all i have come across) will be compatible with S13. This includes lower control arms, trailing arms, castor rods etc etc etc
  2. Yes an S13 sway bar will fit.......BOTH front and rear are interchangable.
  3. You need to remember Dave........his was STOCK......and AUTO!!!!!!!!!!!!! it only felt like a whale as it collided with the gutter (it seems not ALL cefiros are drift weapons haha)
  4. Top effort for digging up an old thread.........this stuff was for sale in OCTOBER of LAST year. As mentioned in the posts above the unsold items were headed to the tip.
  5. gtr90......I have to agree with you that it should not be beyond driveable if when tested the vehicle was in good condition overall. I think the passage that will come back to bite you in the ass is ..........Test driven by the supplier who reports that it runs well and appears in be in very good condition all round." The word APPEARS is the one you need to watch out for........just another of the "ASS COVERING" methods used by your broker. By my interpretation that could legally place the entire responsibility of the vehicle and any and all faults wholely on you. I hope this experience does not sour you on importing or imported cars.......believe it or not there are plenty of importers that are NOT out to decieve you.
  6. Speak to your import agent........they SHOULD be helping you with it. They should do something for their money
  7. I have an extra RB20 actuator as well............whats it worth? Hey fidel........price is firm.......it is DAMN cheap already.
  8. By my interpretation of the legislation, .....Unless the bodykit on the vehicle is a FACTORY option, it must be removed. eg: the Nismo bumper on S13's should be fine as they are optioned from nissan.
  9. Stock turbo from RB20det......has no abnormal shaft play. Came on an engine i put into my car, I have no need for it. $150......Local pick up only Gold Coast Contact me on 0402 807 417 if you have any further queries......... Please do NOT ask for pics......it looks like a turbo.......just come and look at it. Cheers
  10. Without a lawyer you have VERY little chance of getting ANYTHING out of them........I have been down that road a few times and had no success. Good luck though
  11. Time for another second hand gearbox i think CC.
  12. I have an R32 gtst coupe you can have for $9800......it is currently AUTO.......I can have it converted to manual at your cost........will still be under 12k. Contact me on 0402 807 417 for further enquiries. Located QLD.
  13. Not sure about WA but in QLD you need to have THREE restraint points........this will require you to drill new holes in your parcel shelf. Perhaps speak to the engineer that is signing your vehicle off to obtain an accurate opinion of what is needed. Or better yet, blow the cobwebs out of your wallet and spend the few bucks to have someone else do it right. Someone that knows what they are doing will DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.
  14. I believe the boys at www.option1garage.com.au can help you out with these items. OR you should be able to get some from whiteline as they will be the same as S13 parts.
  15. I have just ordered some S13 swaybars also, I am 99% sure they will fit as all the other suspension components are interchangable with S13. The diff centres can be determined by looking at the amount of bolts on your halfshafts. IE: the shafts that come out of either side of your diff will be attached to your shafts by either 5 or 6 bolts.......R200 = 5 bolts evenly spaced and R180 = 6 bolts in 3 groups of two. Hope that helps, if you have any further queries just send me a PM.
  16. Unless made perfectly, aftermarket manifolds can INCREASE Lag quite significantly. Just keep that in mind before you purchase.
  17. Just take your ceffy to an exhaust shop they will be able to fabricate an exhaust for you........AND unlike the bolt on items like mentioned above, they WON"T hang REALLY close to the ground.
  18. Slain has a Vented Glass bonnet on his cefiro.......I was planning to mould it before it went on his car, but i never got around to it........Perhaps speak to him and see if he wants to do the same.
  19. OH, i actually thought you meant the strips at the BASE of the window........thinking you wanted to have them chrome. I think you will find that the cefiro ones probably won't fit as the R32 has no window frame on the door but the cefiro does.
  20. I think you will find that they will require midificatio before they will fit. You are wanting to so this in order to have chrome stripping? yes? If that is the case i suggest you take your current door strips to an plating company (the ones that gold/silver plate badges etc. They should be able to sort it out for you and they will fit back onto your car without any dramas.......and should be at a very reasonable cost too
  21. Oh my god..........is that the kind of advice being given on hot4's forum........... Just go to the servo and buy a new globe.....will work fine then.
  22. Yeah, i would not bother attaching them to stock suspension......with the sloppy feel of the standard items.....a bit of camber would make very little difference in the handling anyway. Or is it for the "drift LOOK"?
  23. What brand of coilovers are you using in the car NOW? I am surprised the ones in your car don't already have camber tops. are you trying to atach them to stock suspension? I hope not
  24. I tend to read all of these threads regarding long waits for all your cars..........and as hard as a try, i am still unable to grasp how SO MANY of you can be delayed for so long (the odd one here and there i could understand) Have you guys ever thought that maybe people that people that know the importers personally are taking your spots on the boat? Leaving your car in a distant second........ (just a thought) I have NEVER had any issues getting vehicles to australia, the longest period i have waited is 8 weeks from time of vehicle to purchase, to it arriving on my doorstep. Often my buyer asks me if he can place it on a boat even before i have approval (obviously to minimise risk i refrain from doing so). Good luck with you all getting your cars here soon.........hopefully more of these threads won't pop up and all your vehicles will finally make their way onto a ship.
