  1. Common lancers... haha I barely see any VII's around, but heaps of IX's... HEAPS
  2. Nice post Conrad I can confirm the FD is a squeeze for taller people, but it can be done, just avoid australian delivered Series 6's as they all had sunroofs. I preferred the interior of it to the EVO though. I like the EVO interior, but it does feel cheap, but so does my car. I have test driven all 3 cars listed above and all are great cars, and I'd happily own any of them.
  3. I had a similar budget at the start of the year, and needed a daily. I tossed up between: Liberty B4 Audi S3 MB C36 AMG BMW E36 M3 Audi S2 HSV VX Clubsport Bug eye STi I ended up going for the Clubbie and I'm happy with my choice. This V8 business is alright! It's quick, comfortable, looks good (imo), and can tow my 180. Couldn't ask for more.
  4. My old 180 was midnight purple. Looked great, and it's my favourite colour on a car, but yeah, was a bit of a bltch to keep clean.
  5. You just watch yourself Sarah...
  6. You won;t be dissapointed with a 306 gti-6 man! Take a look at aussiefrogs.com, and the gti-6 owners club in the UK for some more info if you need it. I tossed up between the VR6 and the GTi-6 and obviously ended up going the VR6 route, but either would be a great choice, and the pug would certainly cost less to keep on the road. As for 205GTi's... I will own one as soon as I have somewhere to put it! Tarmac rally 205... mmmmmmm
  7. haha you're a superstar Joel! i knew him before he was famous...
  8. haha aren't you glad I'm back?? You'd be surprised how often I get that...
  9. What's that saying?? Car's look like their owners?? Oh, whoops, that's dogs look like their owners...my bad :laughing-smiley-014: :laughing-smiley-014: :laughing-smiley-014: :laughing-smiley-014: :laughing-smiley-014: HAR HAR HAR *runs for cover*
  10. Not knocking the product at all, I have no experience with them, and not disputing that Just Jap know their shlt, but keep in mind that he sells them, so he's not going to say they're crap. Having said that someone on here runs them and likes them. Nismo: Really?? Jeez, guess my project MU pads and rotors are doing the trick then!
  11. Tisk tisk tisk, I'm both shocked and dissapointed Pete... *shakes head* AND all this shameless self promotion, when will it end?? ps
  12. *golf claps* Very good
  13. Dammit, I'll still be off the road for this, and at winton too...
  14. hahaha sheeeeeeeeeez!!!
  15. Nice choice there Greg, they're absolutely awesome cars, and I considered getting one about 18 months ago. Best mate has one and it'sa top car. Comfortable, quick, sounds great with a remus backbox, rare. Only thing I dislike is the french seating position... My daily... I'd put up a better pic but I can't be arsed blanking out the plates...
  16. Thanks for that Shan! I've just transferred the money into your account. Dane
  17. Saw you driving back from Calder on sunday from the other side of the freeway, looks great! argh, getting tempted again...
  18. Hey Shan, can I grab: Vol. 113 & Vol. 102. Silvia & 180sx Thanks man
  19. As said above, Dr Drift in brooklyn will be able to sort you out, and I've got nothing but praise for RE customs.
  20. Happy birthday mate!! Hope you had a good one!
  21. Congrats to all out there today, some great times!! Perfect day for it, I don't think Calder has ever seen weather like that!!
  22. Bris: Yeah, I would like to get it log booked incase I decide to move the car over to race rego if I get defected, so I'd like to have it if possible. I would strip it myself too, there's not that much to them, and I've been meaning to strip the rear properly, but wanted to wait until I can get it painted at the same time. VHR32: $800?? That's ridiculously cheap! I'll give them a call and see if they have a template for an S13 already and see what they say. Thanks mate. Ash: I'm not impressed by the way it's been handled either, so yeah, I won't be using said workshop.
  23. I got mine from Canberra, good way to learn the car... especially when you've got no stereo...
  24. Yeah, something like that would be exactly what I'm after. $1500 is great aswell.
  25. I imagine there would be a lot of accomodation, but I also imagine they'd charge through the roof! But hey, if it was me I'd do the same. I'll look into these tours as well, thanks mate. I went to enquire about it through a travel agent on the weekend, but all the packages aren;t available for about a month, so I'll find out more then. I'd love to see so many of the cars in the field... but I'm a BIG Porsche fan, so I'm hanging for the Spyder and RSR's Thanks for the offer at Wakefield mate, but I'm in Victoria, so won't be making the trek up unfortunately... Cheers Dane
