The rebuild kit for the clutch is out of stock, so I've had to order one in from Japan...

I'm out... clutch won't be ready... not happy Jan...

Hey Richard, The rail sits mega low in the car. The SL stands for Super Low. Drops me far enough down that I can wear a helmet and still have room to play with. As far as butchering it goes, I dunno! I'd just be wary that the brackets wouldn't be long enough to reach the mounting points on the rail if you know what I mean?? The mounting points to the chassis are all the same bar one, which I think may need to be lengthened to fit.

I understand completely Geoff, and no doubt I would be annoyed if I was on the receiving end, but I just see an outright ban on rotaries as restricting them simply because they are too quick/win too much, very similar to what occurred in the early 90's in other classes of racing... That, and I'm a rotary man at heart (have had a series 2 RX7 and an RX3) and plan on an FD when I've had my fun with the 180 I like Harry's rules, don't see any problems with them. The only one I'm not a big fan of is the brake restriction as this will make a few models unable to compete (ie S13) as they had such pathetic brakes from the factory. My 2c Dane

Banning rotaries is unfair. It is no better than the ban's laid down upon the GT-R's in group A. If you can build a better car, you can beat them

ahhh I can't blame you, I've contemplated selling mine...

I run an OS twin plate (unsure of model) and absolutely love it. I'm in the process of having it rebuilt at the moment due to hairline fractures in the clutch plates. I find it good to drive. It is heavy, and doesn't like to be slipped, but it's worth it for me as it grips like nothing else when you're giving it to it. I used it as a daily for about a year with no issues.
