  1. would love to be there, but I've got a few things I want to sort out before I go, so sandown it is for me
  2. some people just don't have a clue... I've owned about 9 cars now, from rx3's, rx7's, 2 180's, audi A4 and I currently have a 180 as my weekender and I've just bought a VX clubsport as a daily driver. So which camp to I fall into?? there's wankers driving all sorts of cars, it's just more pronounced when they have an exhaust and draw your attention to their antics. And for the record, I've done a lot stupider things in my 180 than I'll probably ever do in my clubby...
  3. I like that 'if' let's stick with that one
  4. Hapopy birthday mate, hope ya have a good one
  5. word I've driven both, and am a big, big fan of both. They each have their own attributes, and are both great cars in their own right. There's a lot of people on here who I highly doubt would have driven either, let alone both, so most opinions are completely unfounded. And to those that have driven both, then it's to each their own.
  6. have just been told that they no longer make RG's, only RG II's
  7. you'll need to find out exactly what the size and offset is before ordering another one I'll see if I can find the Advan distributor for you Dane
  8. Personally, I much preffered the non-knockout timed runs, and that they were very similar but at the same time quite different. Made it much easier for me to just concentrate on my driving and not on where I'm going. We all know men can't multi-task...
  9. Jack is definately the man when it comes to towing! couldn't recommend him more, especially after having front bars torn apart and exhaust flattened by other services in the past... I wouldn't use anyone else, except his dad of course!
  10. haha you instill so much confidence!! I've got a friend who races a 944 at the island, and has warned me about the last turn. The last time he raced there a 944 turbo was written off doing exactly what you said, slightly caught the grass on the way out on his last lap, and hit the wall hard... oh well, we'll see how it goes I guess!!
  11. ahhh awesome, don't want to go through that saga again do you happen to know how much they are, and where I can get one?? Thanks Dane
  12. nope, just general safety stuff, no secondary bonnet restraints/extinguishers/valve caps etc
  13. SHOTGUN! :PBJ: oh, and does anyone have a portable compressor?? last time I filled my tyres up at the servo I blew the valve out and missed calder...
  14. jeez, 2wd's going to be hotly contested this time round!! As far as shep laps go... BA BOW If I get defected I'm a dead man... bye bye rego
  15. This is good for me to know too, as most likely I'll be running semi comps for the first time at PI, and I've never tracked my car before... I've heard varying things about going out on semi's for tracks such as this, as opposed to street tyres. Does anybody else have any more advice/opinions?? Dane
  16. I'll be there, permitting nothing else screws up...
