thanks everyone

everyone meet nathaniel james winters. he was born on fri. 13th 1:02 am. 7lb 9oz (3.44kg) words can not describe the joy that i am feeling right now. mum and son are doing great. the missus works with kids for a living and has no trouble moving and picking him up whatsoever. me on the other hand is a different story. i thought i handled my new turbo carefully. i am officially the happiest man on the earth.

R33/34 Turbo Gearbox Part Number.

fast gave the part numbers for the gearbox's as follows r33 gts-t 32010-21U60 r34 gtt 32010-AA520 hope that helps -

it's a brass coloured nut that is in between the plenum and the cam cover that is attached to some solid brass coloured lines. should also have a sticker on it that says something along the lines of "do not remove when hot"

as a long shot, maybe the delicate wire in the afm was damaged/broken. cars will not rev past a certain rpm if they are unpluged or damaged

i don't think it would be the water pump if the engine was turned off. in fact the only thing that keeps moving, turning, etc. after power off is the turbo. just a thought. hope it helps. just read the above post. could very well be the viscous clutch fan. blades may be touching something. shroud, radiator. do you have a fmic with pipes going near fan?
