  1. Only 4 foot????? Nah, I originally bought this one to fit in place of the S1 wing, then a GTR wing came up (I had been looking for one for about 5 months and thought I would never get one) so I fitted it instead:) So also got a S1 wing spare at the moment:)
  2. 34 row, hmm could mount in on the roof:) Just a bit of overkill.
  3. Nice pics thanks Joel:)
  4. Skirts are veilside GTR too.
  5. To be quite honest I think it will make bugger all difference. Whatsisname got told to take his momo steering wheel off and they are ADR compliant - this was at a VIS. the costs to get a car engineer certified for compliance here is astronomical here, starts at $1500 before any emissions tests, in NSW it is only a few hundred dollars and they have free emissions testing - about time these anal retentive pricks sorted their shit and started realising that people are going to mod cars, and if they make it impossible to get the mods approved, people are just going to drive in cars that arent approved Sort of defeats the purpose of having the rules there when they make it almost impossible for the average person to meet the requirements. I think the only way to get these pricks off our backs is to have a mass park in on king william street during peak hour - couple of hundred modded cars refusing to move cos they are sick of the apparent discriminatory treatment;) hahaha - if only.
  6. :uh-huh: will have all sorts of nasty side effects. Manifolds are usually carefully designed so as to create as little turbulance as possible - turbulance can cause unwanted back pressure and cause exhaust gasses to revert into the cylinders earlier than if it wasnt present which isnt a good thing at all. And also it is probably increasing lag, as the gasses wont be going out through the turbine. Cant really quantify the losses, but even on a NA engine with a hole in the manifold or gasket leak it can cause noticeable loss of power.
  7. Roy where can I find one of those? Cheers

    Banner??

I did see it Clint, but the bloody thing is farken huge. Good stuff Dean;) cooler means a couple more pounds boost too:)

Righto Dean, the time to act is now! GCG have 600x300x76 FMIC new, delivered anywhere in aust for $600 incl gst - you have no excuse put a deposit down cos these are dirt cheap http://www.gcg.com.au/default_800x600.htm have a look at the specials, special number 2 Miss*33, if you havent already got one, do it too
  10. Originally I had the hole from the stock intercooler pipe, with a piece of aircon duct from the front bar. I have since upgraded to a 4" hole, ie widened the stock cooler pipe hole and using larger piping. I suppose the bigger the hole the better:)
  11. Cheers
  12. Unless you buy HKS, they come in GT25
  13. INASNT, I know where you are coming from, but this is I believe one of those times that reality and the hypothetical world dont match. With stock fuel system I was getting up to 89% duty cycle with just over 200 rwkw. BOOSTD is at 266rwkw with stock injectors - just upgraded fuel pump, he doesnt even have an upgraded fuel pressure reg. With increased fuel pressure and a good tune it would appear that the stock injectors can go a fair way. Too many people exeriencing otherwise to not except IMHO
  14. Black knobs about 1 inch in diameter
  15. Hi Clint, do you have any examples or urls with details? Cheers
  16. Baaaa Baaaaa Good effort, big thanks to the organisers.

    and cigarettes
  18. Ben Ellis is using stock internals with a head gasket to decompress the engine, so you dont have to do internals.
  19. Congrats, thats more like it. What sort of boost?

    yep 3" pipes - party size:p
  21. GTR has a bloody great diff in the middle of the sump;)

Good stuff Dean, remeber I have those pipes if you need them:) Stainless and shiny. Memphis, thanks heaps for the offer, has anybody pmed you yet?
  23. You cannot match the HSK ARs, as HKS has proprietry on them. I am pretty sure Ben Ellis is using a Gt3040 on his GTT in HPI mag but with a 1.** turbine AR, also I think GTSt VSPEC just fitted one. The hks 3040 uses 50 trim comp wheel, the 56 wheel is used on the 3037 by HKS? the turbine trim is the same. HKS sell the 0.87 A/R turbine housing with the 3037 as a kit for the RB25, I currently have the 0.61 and although it makes good power at 1-1.2bar, I am sure it is going to choke the engine a bit up top once I start winding in boost, also it is only making 256 at 1bar, so probably a bit more with a larger AR on the turbine, which I intend doing soon:) I think your choice boils down to where you want the boost and how much power you. The bigger the AR ratio the better the top end, more ign, more power for the same boost pressure - due to the reduced back pressure (the curse of turbo powered engine) but also more lag, although this can be offsett by the use of adj cam gears or cams. Also if you intend doing cams you will get increased overlap, so a smaller AR could really cause troubles.
  24. BOOSTD if you are selling yours pm me!
