  2. Sorry the photos are a bit blurry, dont know what happened? it is in good condition, no gouges or bits missing.
  3. Yes please. If anybody else needs to know, I am quite happy to pm everyone once I know where it is!
  4. Well to summarise what I thought was happening on Friday: We were meeting up at 9pm at the same place as the midnight cruise ( I dont know where this is because I didnt make it to the last one ) BOOSTD has planned a route, which includes a stop mid way at a cafe for a bit of a gathering. The following people were attending: Me, Enrico, T-man, Hippy (as a passenger in my car) Miss*33 BOOSTD Nozila nismostu GFX Man (in friend's sluggish commodore:D) Grepin 32Godzilla (of course) and then this silvia forum cruise got brought into things......
  5. hehehe.....Joe you spinner, go to the link and you will see what we are doing.
  6. Emissions test are a bloody joke anyway. If a car is not passing an emissions test, one of the ways to fix the problem is to inject air into the cat - holden have been doing it for years, pretty sure nissan did it too on SR20s.
  7. Thats the thing I am thinking, back pressure with a turbo is the big killer, and I am a bit worried with larger cams, therefore more overlap, things could get worse rather than better. But if you reckon there is bugger all difference in spoolup time between 0.6 and 0.8, I think I might have to speed up the swap. Smoother onto boost would be good, cos at the moment its bloody violent. I tried upping the boost to 1.2bar on the previous tune and holey fark, 120kmh - 4th gear and only 1/4 to1/3 throttle and the bloody thing got severly bent out of shape, thank god no cars were beside me. RS500, if it were a 0.73, or maybe a 0.87 ( but I think I would have to give it a spin first) I would be tempted. But 1.01, now why would you be trying to off load that?????? EVOIV, as far as I know HKS have proprietry on the housings and the comp wheel, which is why no one can buy them except HKS. As far as I know, exhaust wheel and cartridge can be purchased direct from garret, or be ordered in by your local turbo shop. Anybody out there got a 0.73 or 0.87 3037 turbine housing they want to off load:D
  8. Well I wouldnt have a farken clue where in hell we are meeting up - Ive never been there! Wasnt BOOSTD running with the cruise maps? so who is going on this nissan thing?
  9. Paul, dont forget!
  10. Hi again, Probably about the only thing I can think of that you guys can do also is let me know if you will be needing us to sort some beers/bourbons/softies or whatever. If you intend byo, no probs. See you there.
  11. yeah he's a virtual gold mine of info, and if you ask questions he is happy to answer so its pretty good. Then again, you guys have Steve at SST!
  12. Can you explain why then, that my car held 0.85 bar (12.5lbs) all the way to 7200rpm, in fourth gear?
  13. Tune can make a HUGE difference. I was getting 230rwkw at one dyno - four hour tune, 257 at another days later - this was just a basic 'interim' tune (until gaget and cams) and it took less than an hour. martin donnon explained that the only way to accurately compare dynos is to use shootout mode, and punch in the figures measured in the dyno bay at the time of tune - otherwise its not really an even playing field. Out of interest, the correction on the day I got the 257kw tune, was only 1.029 so bugger all anyway:p
  14. Thanks for all the feedback guys, T-man, still reckon only 2 loaves of bread will cover it:p Hippy, I am sure I could use a hand, thanks mate - someones gotta turn the sausages when I gotta make room for more beers:D Currently stands at 14 + attending and Pawley has room in his esky for a carton ? is that right? I am sure we could find some light refreshing ales to put in there Also, T-man has suggested, and its a bloody awesome one, BBQ breaky (eggs, bacon, snags) about 9am, with a few beers to kick the day off! Anybody else up for a barby breaky?
  15. Nah, hes got a spare one:p Seriously though, next time wear bloody eye protection cos as they say its all fun and games until....... Get well soon dude
  16. Or bring a tent and stay on!
  17. Hey I dont mind doing the burning, errr cooking:)
  18. with FMIC and stock turbo I had no probs to 7200 redline at 0.85 bar boost (EBC) which I had at about 2800-2900 rpm. I also had management. Made 203rwkw.
  19. Enrico? where are you Enrico? been a bit quiet lately, hippy see what you gone and done with the cruise nazi comments:D Can someone pm the start spot last time? cos I didnt make it last time:( Also hippy, you want me to pick you up? Cos you better pm or e-mail me an address:p
