  1. Thanks t-man:) I reckon we could go with sausage sizzle, so sausages only. Unles someone esp wants something different? loaves of bread only have about 20 odd slices, if eveyone has 2-3 sausages (I'll probably have 4 cos I want to keep my shit locker in shape). I dont mind getting the bread, onions, tomato sauce, napkins, oil, barbie tools and a chopping board - but if anybody can get em cheap (or for free) cos they have connections it wouldnt hurt. (I'm a tight arse:D) Just realised we probably need a table to set up shit on, well not actual feces, but stuff.
  2. Hi all, I was thinking that it would be nice to organise a bbq for the drift day. Not only for the members of this forum, but also SAU members from around Aust who are making the trek over here:) And, everybody loves a barbie so any excuse will do. Have met with some positive responses so far, T-man has kindly offered to provide all those interested with cheap (reckons it will cost about $1 per head - is that right tim?) snags etc which is awesome. but a few things need to be sorted. 1) Does anybody have a bbq that could be used on the day? 2) Bread, we need bread. Anybody work at a bakery, otherwise I will just have to go out and buy some:) Oh, and some onions never goes astray. 3)ICY COLD BEER! cant have a bbq without beer! Most of the locals (us) will be able to provide their own esky and ice. But our visitors wont be so lucky perhaps? Plus, some may need to grab a beer because they forgot (of course we couldnt sell the stuff, but if someone was to 'give' me a couple of dollars, I could 'give' them a beer;)) So if anybody has a spare esky that would be great:) I spose I can provide some ice. Another thing that I was hoping someone could let me know about, is there any undercover up there at the track? Cos I dont know what the weater will be like, and may need tarp etc to keep the rain off the bbq:D IF ANYBODY can help with the above, please respond asap. If there is anything anybody else thinks would be a good idea, please post up here. I would like to also get an idea of how many people would be interested, so T-man can make the appropriate arrangements. All you interstate guys, please let post up if you are interested in bbq and beers, cos we need numbers! including any non SAU hangers on that you drag along for the day;) Cheers all. Steve
  3. Shall post up some pics tonight. I am also willing to swap plus cash adj if appropriate, things I am looking for are Trust temp guage 60mm 4 way amp Also trying to track down a CD/stereo with fold out AV screen But bottom of the line is if anybody has anything of value, I am open to offers:D
  4. Not too sure Joel, HKS dont have cores, they are a standard garret item - HKS only have proprietry on the comp and turb cover and compressor wheel. I think it would be more likely to have something to do with turbine AR and comp wheel trim - bigger turbine AR will flow more, but will take longer to build boost, bigger comp wheel will flow more, but if too big could (in theory) result in a miss match to the turbine and result in surge. Always a trade somewhere. The reason I said it was because he originally said he had a 0.68. I would like to know the exact spec differences to give a better idea of the comparison between the two. Without knowing all the specs, it would be useless comparing;) At the end of the day, the only true way to compare would be on the same car, cos lots of things can make a difference. I noticed a considerable loss of power when I swapped my N1 exhaust for a nismo dual muffler one. My big problem at the moment is that I want to try a bigger turbine AR, as I feel the 0.61 is maybe causing a bit too much back pressure. It is interesting that the HKS 3037 kit for RB25 uses a 0.87 AR. Might be worth giving it a try, but at well over $500-$750 a pop for the housing, I am not going to rush out and buy the full range to see the difference:D
  5. I have a red series II factory rear wing for sale. It is in good condition. I was going to fit it to my car, but found a different one instead. Looking for around $150 MUCH prefer adelaide buyer:)
  6. hehe, thats sort of funny, the only things I am doing to my engine are cams and gear (exh). How does she drive on the street? Have you got a copy of the dyno? Is this car being built for a special purpose, or just because you can:D
  7. Nice result, congrats:) Have you done internals? what other mods do you have? Cheers
  8. So did you actually get him to do the full engineer report? or did regency say he was no good? He did tell me that aftermarket computer may be a problem as regency believe that if you have one and change the mixtures after, causing damage to the car, that they would be liable - thats what Doug told me. 9krpn, no doug doesnt do the testing, its some company in adelaide, I am still chasing their details and will let you know as soon as I find out.
  9. Steve

    park fast.

    hmmmm, mod dollars:uh-huh:
  10. I really dont care where it is:p
  11. pretty central to the t-man
  12. Not sure if they have any, but you could try www.d1garage.com they got e-mail now:)
  13. Paul, is it possible you have a 0.78 turbine housing? cos you seem to be making more power at less boost, but alot higher in the rev range - all points to a turbine AR a bit bigger than mine, which is only 0.61. Oh and dont forget to go see rotormotion:D
  14. OK so 9pm meet up for: Enrico TIMMMAYYY (who will from now on be reffered to as T man cos TIMMMAYYY is a pita to type:D) Miss*33 9krpm BOOSTD her200sx Nozila nismostu who's got a good idea of a meet up place? pm me and I'll pm everyone else if you like:)
  15. And I'm in thats 10+ Group buy here we come:D Paul dont forget:p
  16. Nice result Paul, have to post up a dyno sheet, and some photos of the install:D Dont worry about the internals, they are good for over 400rwhp with a good tune. No bloody way, he wont have any traction now;)
  17. http://www.horsepowerinabox.com/mall/ic07.asp to quote: ...The standard intercooler had a pressure drop of up to 8 PSI at 7000RPM whereas this one had a mere 1 PSI drop...
  18. Robo's check www.horsepowerinabox.com (.au?) info is there.
  19. Rev, I gave them a call. Bottom line is they need to see a set of pulleys to quote, which I expected. The rough guide to price I got was $200-$600 for a set. Do you think you, or someone over there might be able to drop in and let them take a look to see how much they will actually cost? Maybe we would be able to get a good price if we did a group buy for a few sets, I am sure there would be enough interest to be able to move some lightened pulleys? I am going to make some enquiries over here to see what can be done locally.
  20. bbenny, for what its worth, I have read some pretty positive feed back on these forums, perhaps do a search for 'Dr Drift' and see what it comes up with?
  21. Those figures I posted above were not running closed loop, ie O2 sensor disabled. I am thinking that perhaps your tune is a bit rich. Wherever you had it tuned, it would be worth taking it somewhere else and just getting them to check AF ratios - at least it would eliminate, or find, one possible cause.
  22. 550cc injectors, bosch 044, power fc, HKS3037 and I got 360km from 50L, but that inlcuded a fair bit of playing and one hour on the dyno. I have never had that bad, ie 200km from 40L, even with a 4 hour dyno tune (same setup), it wasnt that bad, the tune only used 1/2 tank, or a tad under. So yeah, I reckon you got probs:(
  23. Phone your local MP, they can get things done. I agree with Hippy, this combined with those 3 fines for defects (which I cant understand how he can prove your exhaust was too loud without testing it) - harrassment. If you were out on the street taking drugs and breaking into cars to support a habit, they probably wouldnt even waste the resources to try and catch you - they dont investigate car break ins, but they got nothing better to do than give you a hard time. I agree with the need for traffic coppers, cos otherwise hippy would be way out of control (lol), but seriously when they have enough coppers in highway patrol that they can harrass you like this, but do nothing more than take a statement if someone does hundreds (or even thousands) of dollars damage breaking into a car? Well it appears to me that there needs to be a serious look taken at how resources are distributed.
  24. No worries Hiep, I probably need a navigator:)
