  1. Do those turbos bolt back up to the stock dump pipe as well?Or is it only the oil and water lines that dont line up.
  2. Yes i suppose you could theoreticly predict the air flow to give a good indication..He hasent given us a plenum volume yet, intercooler pipeing diameter lengths of the ram tubes. What volume of air can a rb25det induce per cylender? And i still cant answer your question.
  3. Skylines have a breather hole im pretty sure....At least thats what i have allways thought the little hole under the petrol cap was. Check to see if your battery clamps are on tight. They sometimes work loose and show the accessories on the dash but when it comes to start it just clicks. why not mention it.
  4. Dude my gemini had that sound and i never got it fixed in the end the motor shut down...I dont know exactly what it is...The initial sound is all rb on startup but that sound on rev is exreemly sus to me. Is that a gudjon pin sound anyone.Or a conrod pin loosening.

  6. really
  7. i dont know yet im still wondering what to do.im going to try and photoshop the kits onto a 33 just to get an idea. The jun side skirts are damn low n my ride has 17's with lowered suspension im thinking too low for the road.
  8. I tend to dissagree with that I suppose i think of it like blowing through a straw 1.1@10cm 2.1@20cm 3.1@30 cm long. The shortest one will allow more flow of air whilst your mouth (plenum) exphells the excess and as the tubes get longer the air passing takes longer to get rid of the air in the plenum. Given that.the ammout of air that can be consumed by the cylinders and the ammount of gas that the exhaust will pass (thus the need for tunned length extractors) will determine the legnth of the ram tubes. Also the direction of velocity that the air is taking from the intercooler pipe also would play a key role.R&D is a science not a guessing game. And the engine takes air as it needs it when the plenum has an empty space it fills it with more air it doesnt wait in-line. Id make the front ram a few mm shorter to the last.
  9. So the A/F ratios are hard to keep at a constant at any given rpm....So when a car is tuned with aftermarket ecu they really only try to make an A/F average accross the entire rpm range as good as they possibly can.So in cases like this it is not the tuners fault that it is not making the power it's the plenum design...... Maybee a fatter mid section in the plenum to give it time for the A/F ratios to even themselves out and a splitfire coil pack to burn the extra air and fuel quicker making its way into the cylinders... Im not at all knowledgeable about this process so go easy....
  10. The plenum has a ramming problem then.Could be overcome with a ported head, cams & match ported manifolds to realy get things flowing?Or do you think that i have just gone too far and left the saine answer. :cooldance
  11. Q for you's.Does the plenum have air guides?
  12. ...so much horsepower..lol
  13. The sanding part is easy, you need a good eye for a nice even sanded surface, for detail mostly and not be a slacker.....Im thinking about a full respray after i get my kit as there are a few touch ups arround the car and i think with a freshly sprayed kit/car it will make the car look good...
  14. Alternator shmaltinator..12v pump with a 12v controll box.Your fully sik subwoofer system would drain more and i aint felt power loss with that.A car lighter is 12v etc..So no it wouldnt..
  15. I might be.
  16. I have been told but dont know if it is true that the hks shockies are filled with nitrogen gas instead of air (BD4'S) and that i shouldn't let it out...I run on hks hyper adj's.But they are supposed to be filled with the same stuff.since then the shockies have undergone a full rebuild at www.shockreco.com.au in queensland. They will re-calibrate the damper to your specs i.e.softer.Very cheap i thought too @ $143 a shock.
  17. Try unique autosports they have the jun rear bar ..
  18. Yer.Have you tried jetspeed they might be the ones to talk to..Pity bout the reverse into the mates fence thingy......Oh well now you have an excuse to get a new style rear bar..
  19. do you need them when changing cams?
  20. What do you guys think of this....Jun front bar,400r side skirts and nismo rear pods... pinoi_boi_r33Sweet looking ride.Where abouts did you get your kit from and what did you pay for it?How much for side the skirts on their own?
  21. And did you have valve spring issues.Or was it fine and dandy?? What is the cost of valve springs and whats it like to install a set while the cams are out.Does it interfere with the valves when trying to install valve springs? :flower:
