  4. I recon a triple plate clutch is a bit overkill.TRy looking at busters setup or inasnt they both have twin plate clutches and are running over 330rwkw.Btw os are a good racing clutch.
  5. The 2535,30 hks turbos rock all over the 2540hks as a street turbo.Buty im with you guys if you like it and it is at the right price buy it for sure.   6. :werd: And does someone have a rb25det hi flow dyno result that they would also like to elaborate a little bit more on. I dug this up from an old thread heres the thread with talk on the hks2535,2540 & 3037. Click me And here is the hks test chart for 2510,2530 on rb20det and the rest 2535,2540 on a R33 rb25det.Very interesting and has helped me to answer some of my quetions.All tests are done at 1 bar of boost. Click me There is a larger range than that there too with tests done on other cars as well.
  7. How does it drive.It looks very gradual.There seems to be a large flat spot in there 5400-6300rpm's.Nothing that a pfc,injectors & pump wont fix.
  8. All because of the different compressor and turbine blade designs? I have read that on sdu forums by mariogtr that whatever turbo i use the hks will allways flow closer to its full potential than a garret equivilent.He says somewere in the vicinity of 20hp is what you should take off of a garret turbos rating and it would give a better indication of what this turbo will pull. Also being that all of these turbos are rated at stock boost 10psi or so.So there will be room for more power. I say,now being that a stock rb25det turbo is rated at 250ps and has smaller .ar housings and includes ceramic bladed turbine,non ball bearing turbo and being able to see the power they can produce when pushed,that a garret or hks turbo with a better ps output to start will surely make arround 380-400 ps of what i am after.The only difference being that HKS will make it there easier. If going an underrated turbo what are my chances of being able to elliminate/minimise lag and be able to come onto boost by 3500-3800 and still be able to make the desired 380-400hp/ps output int gate and run minimal boost? Hks would be good but to be able to afford a brand new one i would have to buy from os.Have you seen hks-T au prices!meh..
  9. What size exhaust wheel does the 2535 run.It has a 56t compressor wheel..With the bigger .70 housing will this aid in the spool up or top end power as compared to the .64 housing.
  10. Thanks Sk....So now i understand that the fueling is controlled by the afm and cpu to get the correct afr's.And it can also be done with no afm at all on certain cpu's.

Would it be a better idea if i was to say put garret gt2535 on my car rb25det,with usual mods,with a different size ar.Here is a reply that i got from horsepower in a box.com I can do the GT2535 in the T3 flange internal gated for $1750, but not the GT2530. We also do a 500hp core unit with a .70 comp cover for the RB25 as a bolt on Internal gate for $2150. Regards Is this option a good one for this turbo and motor with stock internals looking at running cams?What sort of spooling rpm time could i expect it to come onto boost from the upgraded version?

  18. Does this problem occur with a pfc and an ebc running hi/lo.Would you need to get a pfc boost controll kit to overcome this problem.
  19. farkn...For now untill u get a locksmith take out battery and dissconnect somthing in the engine bay so car wont go.Get the locksmith tommorrow.Or go to someone wrecking a line e.g.Imoprt wreckers and get a whole new set..

  22. Do You guys know if garrett turbos are rated in ps atw or ate(at the engine)??Likewise with HKS. Sweet looking dyno there.By the looks it is rated ate(at the engine) though

My o2 sensor has had it.it rattles when i took it out and shook it.So the pfc has an option to ditch the o2 sensor.And R31Nismoid says it has netted him 400km to teh tank with his big turbo.Next retune i will ask the shop if they can do this option and what benifits negative benifits it has on the car. But as with every performance upgrade the engine will chu more petrol.
