  3. factory bov???hi steve i thoughht an aftermarket one would work just as good if not better at fixing compressor surge...Why is this so?
  4. Indeed. All the fruit and not like 3 mods.I know what you mean.
  5. maybee the engine will fit cleanly.
  6. Arr but place ''y'' wants to buy at place ''x'' prices just like us all. Those ''y'' prices are crazy.Stock r33 gts-t's for $25000 at dealer.Trading post joe bloe from $17000 and up modded cars at arround the same price or a bit more as joe.
  7. Phuk hope it's not the inlet manifold gasket leaking....Run the car with water get a torch and a xtendable mirror and have a look. You will see water leaking from under the inlet runners if it is.And usually a white water stain from water/coolant drying.
  8. 100Gz more like it.
  9. Of course yes there are still some gems to be found but 8/10 r33's in australia have looow low klms on the clock. There cant be that many gems in japan on the road can there?

  12. Ill answer that one bass. No it is not to late>
  13. Did any r32 gts-t's come out with rb25det's?
  14. Heres a better pic of that color.Looks good.In your pic it looks as though there is a silver tone to it.Because of the light though i think.Note the clear indicators you asked for.

  16. I dont know how to install one of these turbos. But try to contact the person that you bought it from and see if they know. Basicallly all you need for the install is turbo, dump, water and oil lines braided, because i dont think stockie items will line back up.And a new inlet pipe made from aluminium or mild steel. If the turbos exh housing has a t3 flange then it will bolt back up to the standard exh manifold.A T3 flange is what all rb25det's have. FYI:The turbo will only support internal gate on it's own or external gate on it's own not both. The stock turbo in the pic is internal gate.If u need an external gate then you will have to plumb in the external wastegate from the manifold. Most go for a completely new manifold that allows for the wastegate. But some go for a spacer in between the exh manifold and turbo exh with a pipe plumbed from the spacer from the wastegate.Meh. Here is a pic of the stock turbo and it's 6 stud dump pipe flange pattern. not good for a hybrid t3/t4 turbo to use for a stock dump.Have to get a custom one made:)
  17. Do some reasearch and find out weather the new dump pipe will suit your needs. There is no use getting this one and having to get a new one for the t4 turbs. If the turbo needs an external wastegate then you will need a proper exhaust manifold to house the turbo and external wastegate and a new dump pipe anyway, that will have your wastegate plumbed in. More than likely you are going to need a new exh manifold anyway you look at it. With the steel wheels on in you can run good boost. What version of this turbo did you buy? What was the hp rating of it?Was it an external (ex) or internal (int) gate??? A wastegate that vents to the atmosphere on a road registered car is a defectabled one.
  18. I think the last time he was on the forums was a couple of months ago.
  19. Oooohhhh. :aroused: Are you going to polish them bass?
  20. $350 turbo makes 250rwkw!! by boo5ted.
  21. Just a short vid of a gsxr600 turbo bike Click hear the bov.sounds good. Btw those ricer rip off videos are funny shit!!!
  22. Dude 300rwkw,man your motor wont be able to handle it for to long. A head gasket is a bare minimum upgrade for some when going into 230-250rwkw territory. Not to mention fuel pump,550cc injectors (are optional pending on duty cycle),power fc or similar, intercooler, full 3'' turbo back exhaust, boost controller. Good rubber and good suspension will see good use of this power.Brakes are supposed to be okay at this power but i would also consider that if you were going to go to a track with that much power go a brake upgrade. A high flow is a popular choice of upgrade, hks 2530 is supposed to be a good upgrade for stock internals. I say if you are serious about this don't venture far away from the high flow horsepower ratings when choosing a turbo.Mix certain combos to get a better flowing motor to complement the turbo i.e.extractors,cams maybee a match ported & polished head etc.. Cams are considered good because they reduce the dynamic commpression in the engine and as an alternative to cams you could use a exhaust cam gear for a better tune.Either will give a better mid range power output but the cams will give more. 3037 turbo and 300 rwkw forget about it.Im not saying it cant be done it can.Just the motor wont last long at all no matter what way you look at it.For this a rebuild is definently recomended. Ask others what they have done with their turbo combo to go with it. As for turbo choices There is a rb25 turbo upgrade thread it should give you a better idea of what choices you can make.
  23. Hi sk. What about the power delivery of the hi-flow?Do you have any dyno graphs? If no.How does it compare to a 2530/35 garett or hks.You had tomei poncams as well for that figure to right. What are the comp housings/exh housing specs of the stock unit high hi flowed.
  24. We need that sheet big carl. Can you tell us what power it makes from 2000rpm-6500rpm. I would like to know where it stands in the power delivery dept. Here you go i will get you started just fill in the blanks. Rpm 2000- 2500- 3000- 3500- 4000- 4500- 5000- 5500- 6000- 6500- Cheers BigCarl. It's not compulsory:)
