  4. Cmon i know there are a few of you who have used HOK paint.
  5. I was doing some thinking today and after reading a thread about painting skylines and it got me wondering rouhghly how many liters are needed to paint (full respray) a 33? And has any 1 used the house of colour paints and what prices did you pay? What are these prices like when compared to say going for a factory prepared paint. And what did you pay the guy who did the work for you. Paint is great.
  6. Wow talk about off the hook. IMO the hybrid copys are good enuff. My car is reciving 1,some just want a brand name and i can see that, research and development and quality craftsmanship that has been proven time and time again. And the ease of fitment for presa that only comes with a pre fabricated unit. But im like DoriDori. Why pay sooo much for it when you know that the cheaper option is just as good.get a spray can and jig to spray a logo on it. My 2 pesos

  11. yes to both your questions. The high flow can still be an expensive turbo when compared to other turbos but it's the bolt straight back into stock location with ease that appeals as well as the power output. You dont need to weigh in the costs and installment hassel's of additional things like water and oil lines (not that expensive anyway) maybee a new afm pipe and also a dump pipe will need to be fabricated inc labour like yoou do for an aftermarket turbo. Me ive had no real world experience in a turbo swap but my time will come Was quoted a few months ago $1750 for a new garret GT2535 in the T3 flange internal gated from hosepowerinabox.A high flow's cost after you sell your stockie turbo may be $1500. I would go for the pfc,hi flow and get it tunned as a budget option. The tunning is arround $500 up depends. Also ask GCG what their customers get modified when purchacing the turbo ie.wastegates sizes, actuators and housing mods etc.And WHY they do it. When you get more cash get an intercooler There is a guy on here selling intercoolers for $200 they are the hybrid copys $350 for cooler pipes $100 for silicon hoses, and you will have an intercooler that you will have to install yourself, for $650 what more can i say. There are peeps with over 250rwkw using them and they are rated with more capabilities than a gtr intercooler, and the gtr's are running 270rwkw maybee way more with the stockie cooler. Dont run overly excessive boost figures without the intercooler for long periods of time though. The stock intercooler will not cool air efficiently or as long as an aftermarket on,making the engine more prone to detonation. Your tuner will tell you about the do's and dont's when you speak to him. :Bang:

  15. See silver we make a great team..lol..
  16. Im with silver gts-t.That is exactly what i had to do to mine to get the lock nuts off after i lost it.Look everywhere for the lock nut key. 1st i found a nut that would go over it neatly then one just down from it's size that wouldnt go on,1-2mm undersize, maybee 1mm under cant remember Then went to hardware house looked in their $1 socket boxes found the size i wanted and got 4 of them i rooted 1 and then i used 1 for the rest of the 3 nuts, lucky i guess. just bash them on using somthing to space the nut and the hammer.I used another socket in between,so as to not damage the rim. Another way is to pack the socket with bits of steel ie.pop rivet shafts/offcuts.To further wedge and give more grip on the lock nut. I know for a fact that there are tools as stated above that are a 1 size fits all socket head and they are packed with 100 or so more rivet style shafts but are actually made for this sort of thing. Does your lock nut have ridged bumps on it or is it flat on the outside?
  17. nice kit and paint free bump! Is that a custom spray job or a factory colour from another make. Does it have pearl in it?
