Yeah im raging big time! I am insured but as always its never enough to cover all the time & effort. It had an immobilizer but they broke into my house & got the keys. Kill switch will be fitted if i get it back or get a new one

I did have an alarm & an immobilizer but doesn’t help when they break into your house & find your keys

It really has changed my view on who i tell what car I drive

Yeah that would be great if they returned it, its one of the first things i thought about was them getting angry coz it screemed everytime they changed gears.

Nope it was a wideband sensor. Uses the bosch LSU4.9 Wideband Sensor. Its not one of those crappy ones off just jap. Got it from Autogauge direct. Only flaw is the fact that the alarm comes on every time my foot is off the throttle. Gonna send Autogauge an email & see if its normal.

I dono if this will be guys just wanting a joy ride, the car cannot be seen from the street so they must have watched me & know the car was there. The cops did say lots of cars are being stolen at the moment. its messed up.

Just a few more details if you got to have a closer look at the car. *3 Autogauge gauges in the triple cluster. *Pioneer double Din head unit *BC BR coilovers *Middle console & gear surround has been painted dark silver Anyone know what theives usually do with Skylines? Re-sell them or do they usually get parted out?

Thanks man, yeah the other gauges are all good iv set the warning but the wideband sensor just goes straight to lean & the alarm goes off. The car was stolen on Monday so if I dont get it back I might not put that same gauge in.

It was stollen from Carina near Carindal. Rego is 031RAL. Its a 1998 R34 GTT. Its been lowered, has a front mount. Not much more changed on the outside. Appreciate it

Hi Guys So i have just installed 3 gauges into my R34, they are the ones from Justjap with peak recall & warning. Does anyone know if its possible to disable the beep when the gauge is doing the opening ceremony?? Also the middle gauge is a wideband sensor, i got it direct from Autogauge. Every time i take my foot of the throttle it goes to full lean which is all good but then the warning alarm goes off & keeps going off until i put my foot back on the throttle. Does this seem right? I thought it may just need to be calibrated which is done by pushing a button on the control box however the instructions do not state whether the engine needs to be running or not.

Wow what a thread. I had to make the same decision about a year ago although i was looking at turbo models. I went with the R34 mainly because i felt u get more car for less money & I love straight 6's. If you are looking to get the car & maybe do 1 or 2 mods & just drive it around for 3 years until u get your opens I say go for it. The issue with that is sometimes its hard to stop at 1 or 2 mods. if you are planning on getting the car & modding it, id suggest u dont. I was in the same boat as u. Almost bought a N/A skyline 3 times but I took ppl's advice & I waited to get off my P's coz if i got it I would have thrown lots of money at it & then bought a turbo when i got my opens anyways. Just my 2 cents.
