  1. All you need to do is put an rb30 sump on and modify the oil pickup I've done it
  2. When you take the clutch apart it has the exedy part number mate I've got a Nismo G-Max twin plate as well, it's an AWESOME clutch and yep no rattles, very grippy and isn't either on or off (sprung centre)
  3. Indeed they are the specs of the 34N1s that UAS are selling A search of the forum will reveal that there are many types of 34N1, and I have now found that they came out in a 0.42 compressor as well as a 0.60 A/R Pete you got the ones with the 0.60 compressor which are the ones I was after, so I'm selling these and will try and get some with the larger compressor housing. Either that or I'm also working on the possibility of swapping the comp covers over to the larger housing. EDIT: have found a pair of 0.60 A/R covers so will see if these fit once they arrive. in the meantime have taken off the market. if they dont fit i'll have to put them up for sale again. here's hoping!!
  4. These ones have a 0.42 compressor housing I have found that there are a few types of R34N1s ... some have 0.60 compressor and some have 0.42 .... But all have 0.64 exhaust These turbos are ball bearing which all R34N1s are. R32 and R33 N1 turbos aren't. A pic is attached, sorry it's a bit zoomed in Any inspection is welcome
  5. G'day, I have a pair of R34 GTR N1 turbos for sale. Apparently only have 10,000 kms on them. They're in very good condition. If interested, I can email you pics. Have had them verified that they are 34N1s ... a phat upgrade for your 32GTR Turbos are in Perth. $2,900 or best offer Cheers
  6. Cheers to banzai for confirming that they are 34N1s They are ball bearing due to the bolts on the turbine housing Apparently some 34N1 turbos have 0.42 front covers and some have 0.60
  7. Yeah those three points are valid BUT It has a compressor A/R of 0.42 instead of the 0.60 A/r Apparently all R34 N1 turbos have a compressor A/R of 0.60 The A/R I can see written inside the "tube" part of the compressor housing (sorry not sure of the name of that particular bit of the turbo but where the compressed air goes out of the turbo and off to the intercooler).
  8. nah there's no ID plate ... dammit
  9. farken dayum ! nice care mate where did you get the 32GTR front bar from by the way?
  10. so definitely not R34 N1 ? what about the lack of markings on the compressor cover? but then again I guess unfortunately the 0.42 a/r tells the whole story doesn't it :flamed:
  11. Hi ! Could anyone tell me what turbo this is. I bought it as a R34 N1 turbo though not sure if it is or not. I have done a HEAP of searching and have found that 34 N1 turbos should have : 0.60 front 0.64 rear 9 blade rear wheel No markings on the front compressor housing These turbos have: 0.42 front 0.64 rear 9 blade rear wheel No markings on front housing Does this turbo look like an R34 N1 ? There is no plaque On the rear it has written: 0.64 428-2 TR7093 Any help appreciated !!!
  12. Awesome cheers fellas!
  13. are they likely to be standard ?
  14. I was looking through some old(ish) photos and remembered I wanted to ask about these pics of my RB26 pistons. I bought this motor not knowing its history etc. I was told once that standard RB26 pistons have a thatched appearance underneath? These ones are white in colour underneath, with no markings etc. Are they standard pistons? If not, what are they? Cheers
  15. Cheers dude .... it was white but very strong !
  16. G'day Just wondering if anyone knows what the glue is that holds down the centre plate on the coil pack cover (the plate that says "NISSAN TWIN CAM 24 VALVE") ? It's very strong and I wondered what it was ... Thanks !
  17. This might seem really crazy and totally outlandish but ... why didn't/don't you sell them to one of the people who flagged you down or the arab who followed you? p.s - do you do econ techniques at curtin?
  18. What's a worthy upgrade for an early RB26 in terms of new oil pump? I'd heard that the R33 N1 was the go due to it 'catching' on the crank better?
  19. Are the uprights from an R33 or from an S14/15 (since it was intended for the 5-stud conversion)? If they're from an S14/15 and you end up getting desperate and wish to ship interstate, then I'll take the fronts dude
  20. Have a Motec M8 So I'm assuming they weren't needed then Thanks for the excellent explanation RB30-POWER, was just something puzzling me!
  21. G'day, are the O2 sensors required when you're running a MAP sensor? Just curious as mine have been unplugged I know they're partially for small adjustments to afr's, but didn't know whether that was just for MAF equipped cars or not Cheers fellas
  22. _______________ On 1/1/94 I took car to Oshigarunyarguryokyo for oil change - 10,000km On 1/1/98 I took car to Negataramadoowuphyhara for another oil change - 20,000km On 1/1/02 I took car to Sukdinwhiteboi for another oil change - 30,000 km _______________ Anyone can fake them and noone will know Not sure if it explains the water corrosion but I doubt the extra couple of months would have made the difference Sorry to hear you got screwed though dude ... I've had bad dealings with ***** as has Raasclat, but since they're a sponsor on SAU they can just walk over us Perthies and not suffer any consequences (I reported it to dAVE months and months ago when he was the trader mod ... never got a reply coz it's all money in the pocket I guess)
  23. i have a nismo twin plate clutch in mine and its luuuuurvely
  24. good work mate ! you could have obviously taken a peak under the engine to see the front driveshaft if you were scared it wasn't a GTS4
