  2. Spare sump/diff is off an R34 GT-Four so is a 4.363 ratio item; probably wouldn't match your rear I'm guessing

    Sauwa?

OP started this thread on 1 May ... I think this is pretty indicative that perhaps more active members should be approached and should be given a moderator status to help assist things like this (and before anyone asks - for obvious reasons, being I rarely post and prefer to read, I'm not putting my hand up) Even the WA workshop thread, that I posted a while back and people replied with the latest info on the garages, wasn't used to update the pinned consolidated workshop thread. The WA section isn't a high traffic forum and only takes about 5 mins to read everything and respond to these sorts of queries.
  6. Does it include booster?
  7. Update: Engine sold separately. Updated list to include rear diff and separate prices: - R34 GT-Four 4wd front sump/diff and rear diff (4.363 matched diff ratios) - $500 - R32 GTR gearbox (push-type) - $500 - R34 GT rear hubs - $100 for the pair - R34 rear drive shafts (no split boots) - $200 for the pair (3x2 bolt pattern) As per above, keen to sell to a local buyer, and the parts are still located at a warehouse so serious buyers only please. I have videos to show parts are working as intended, alternatively you're welcome to perform any tests you wish. Cheers all
  8. Ok cool thanks guys, I'll take a look and see if there are any odd cross-overs, cheers!
  9. Following an engine swap, I have my previous engine + gearbox for sale. - RB25DE engine (top below below doesn't show it, but it comes with all the intake gear too) - Has R34 GT-Four 4wd front sump/diff (4.363 diff ratio) - R32 GTR gearbox (push-type). I've swapped these items out because I've gone for a turbo setup, but the engine and gearbox both felt like they were in extremely good condition. Have vids of it running, for what that's worth. No leaks, passing state licensing a couple of months before. I'll have the matching rear diff for sale shortly if someone's interested in using the different diff ratio setup for their GTR. I'm chasing $1,200 for the setup. Located in Perth, WA.Would prefer a local buyer. They're located at a busy workshop so only serious buyers please. Currently want to sell all as one, Cheers
  10. Hey guys, Firstly, apologies if this is the wrong section for this question - I couldn't find the forum section for this sort of problem. I've just finished putting an RB26DETT into my R34, however after finishing wiring the car up we started it up, let it run for a little while. Then decided that was enough for the time being, removed key, engine stayed running. So far - - Car has no power (ie nothing on dash lights up, windows don't work etc) prior to key going in. (normal) - Key turned to ignition, everything primes fine. (normal) - Car starts beautifully on key-turn. (normal) This is where things get weird - Removing key has no effect on engine - Stalling the car doesn't stop the car thinking it's still in ignition, dash lights stay on it - Once the engine has stopped running, disconnecting then reconnecting battery makes the car acts properly thinking the key isn't in and doesn't have any power. (back to normal, ie first step of this list) Does anyone know what might be the cause of this? Cheers all
  11. Hi guys, I want to put know whether GTS4 half shafts will fit into R32 GTR hubs. Can anybody tell me definitively if there is a difference between R32 GTR hubs and R32 GTS4 hubs? I know that the diffs are interchangeable and use the 6 bolt pattern, I'm interested in whether the half shafts themselves are the same (ie if the hubs have the same spline count). Cheers all
  12. Hi all, Have an R32 GTR speedo cluster and triple gauges left over from an R32 GTR front-cut. Am located in Perth, pref Perth buyer but can ship at buyer's expense. Speedo (147k on clock) - $130: Gauges - $120: Send me a PM if interested, Cheers
  13. Bump
  14. Hi guys, Does anyone know for sure whether there is a difference between the R32 GTR clutch master cylinder and that of the R33 GTR? Part numbers are: R32 GTR - 30605 05U00 (PCC-11) R33 GTR - 30605 05U01 (PCC-11a) Thanks all
  15. Per topic, am chasing both rear drive-shafts in good condition off an R32 GTR Please send me a PM Cheers
  16. Hi guys, thank you very much for the information, especially Mitch We'll pull the harness out and see how much of a job it'll be in that case to splice it all in as per what is happening in the pic; we've got all the pin-outs etc. If worse comes to worst, we'll just have to call it, send it off to one of these PnP experts and plug it in that way Cheers guys!
  17. Hi guys, I've been putting an RB26 into an ENR34 over the last couple of days with some mates (we're accountants, so absolutely no useful skills to bring to the table here). Mechanically the car is good to go, however we've come across a hurdle. Yep, you guessed it - wiring. I've done a search and there hasn't been a great deal of *useful* information in this regard, so I was hoping there might be a guru or two out there who could shed some light on the easiest possible method to approach this - here are the options we've come up with: 1. Send the RB25DE & RB26DETT looms to Sideshows Performance and have them re-wire it. I haven't looked into this much more than a google search or two, so no idea on cost or turn-around. 2. Re-wire the RB25DE loom into the RB26DETT loom using the pinouts. 3. Run 2 individual ECUs, one for the RB25DE bottom harness (fuse box stuff and alternator, gearbox, starter motor etc etc) and the other for the RB26DETT for the engine specific items, and wiring in anything additional that might be needed (eg injector resistor pack). - If anyone has done this before and knows of an easier method to do this, please let me know. - If anyone has used this Sideshows Performance and can share their experience / cost / turnaround that'd be great; or - If anyone can suggest (with certainty) which would be the easiest for us to do, that'd be most excellent too. Please bear in mind the above information regarding me and the other guys being utter noobs at wiring, however we can read and understand pin-out diagrams. We just don't know if the method we were planning would be the right approach or not. p.s the pin-out diagrams we were looking at are R34 non-GTR and R32 GTR from the respective service manuals. Thanks all. tl;dr: put rb26 into 4wd R34 wiring is issue what is the best approach to re-wire it in?
  18. Ah right, I guess I'll just have to pull the propshaft out and drive around as a RWD until I source a rear diff! Thanks for all the help mate, greatly appreciated!
  19. So I'd be better off going for the R32 GTR mechanical LSD in the rear end?
