  1. Mick_o, I have HPI dump pipes and a Tomei exhaust, it doesn't prove your point at all as you're busy slamming Japanese items whilst I happily run both Aussie and Jap items in my car ... Cheers man; I'll shoot you a PM re cost in case Racepace prefer to keep costs off public forums
  2. Could you guys take your pointless country-bashing out of my thread? It was created to determine what else was out there for my setup. Not a Jap/Aussie bashing session. Both countries make fantastic gear, and they also make a lot of lousy gear, it's not restricted to one and to think only one country makes the good stuff is, sorry to say, extremely narrow-minded. Take your "bogans"/"chum brains"/non-thread-related chatter to wasteland For the purposes of concluding this thread, I went a 76.3mm/90mm tuned-length Racepace front pipe with a triple bolt flange at the cat-end to prevent the restriction - it's an absolute piece of art, sounds bloody amazing and worth every penny!
  3. Ah righto, cheers for the info, hopefully doesn't need to be replaced! Will take a look at it and make sure it's secured firmly as suggested and perhaps see if any room to drop it a bit more; will also perhaps just take a jerry can to the next track day and keep the fuel topped up, before going down the route of surge tanks etc
  4. Bahaha, ok thanks gents, looks like we have a consensus! Thanks muchly
  5. Thanks for the replies guys! Yep it was fine when I entered with the full tank - is half a tank typically low enough to get fuel surge on an R34? I haven't double-checked this one, cheers, will pull it out and see Even if all still in place/locked in properly, it's probably a good idea to get a surge tank in any case! Thanks again guys
  6. Hi guys, I recently went to the track, and although the first few outings were fine, after a while it began misfiring whenever I'd be cornering. It seemed fine whenever I would hit the straights. It had roughly half a tank of fuel, is an R34 (which I think has a bit of baffling in the tank anyway), but other than that I'm a bit ... baffled ... No smoke was seen coming out either. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Cheers!
  7. Joey, the guy's negotiating a price on an "ono" for sale thread; if the OP doesn't like it then he'll just refuse. Getting a little tired of all the shutdowns and condescending comments people receive on this forum these days
  8. There's always YCOT on the 19th
  9. Hey guys, I have a pair of indicators however the plug is different to that on my car - part number 26160EW00A, off a Z50 Is anyone able to tell me the part number of the plug which clips into it for me? Cheers!
  10. Thanks guys for all the input; turned out to be the ignition module Cheers fellas!
  11. Cheers for the replies guys, Yep car has been washed recently - however is it odd that it would suddenly start doing it, and across the full rev range, if it was from water from a recent wash? Will test the cylinders this weekend as you both suggested Badgaz - doubt it's intercooler as it's not running MAFs, cheers though Thanks fellas
  12. Hey guys, Earlier tonight my car (which had been driving absolutely perfectly) all of a sudden started running like absolute crap, and what I can best describe as sounding like a WRX. I limped the car home (50kms, sigh), and it seemed to only do it once the car had come up to temperature from that point on. I am not sure whether it is the fuel filter, I haven't really changed it since I swapped to e85, though in saying that I haven't had much of a chance to drive it much Modifications which would have an impact are: RB26DETT ViPec ECU running MAP Running on e85 New spark plugs within the last couple of weeks -5 turbos, full aftermarket exhaust Splitfire coils (probably less than 1,000km's on them) Metal headgasket with ARP headstuds freshly put in within last week or so I've only just had it put together, and was dyno'd last week and was fine there A mate noticed when I pulled out of the car park he thought he saw a puff of smoke but couldn't see what colour it was but thought it might be white (with nothing else after that initial small puff), perhaps ethanol perhaps something else? A niggly problem that I have with the car is the electrics - there's a circuit breaker (180 amps or something large) which seems to sometimes prevent me from starting the car up (this happened tonight too) - could this have an impact, as there's not enough voltage going to coils or anything like that? If anyone could suggest anything, that would be greatly appreciated. Of course I'll be contacting the tuner, but just to get some initial ideas in case it's something easy like a fuel filter (which I will also be replacing) Cheers!
  13. Selling a brand new centre engine ornament, original item from Nissan Didn't end up using as didn't refresh the covers on my car $80 Located in Leederville
  14. Hi all, Am selling my fibreglass bonnet, is painted black and is to suit R34 GTR. Located in Mount Claremont, please see pics below $400 Scary horror-movie bed not included, and random dots on the car pic are from neighbour's retic Selling as I'm happy using my standard bonnet and bonnets take up plenty of room at the olds' place
  15. Hey Dylan, welcome to WA (for when you arrive) Unfortunately not a lot of street meets happens here to be honest. Though saying that, there are a few who try to organise some; once my car is up and running again I'll be keep to get to some meets. Most occur up at Barbagallo for the racing events - keep an eye on the Barbagallo events section, that will be a good place to meet a few Skyline owners
  16. Congrats to your dad mate, sounds like a great effort!
  17. Thanks for the info Corey But yeah according to the other site the depth of the guage and back pin connectors aren't inline with the genuine BF Defi specs Attached links to the pics
