  5. Exactly, just put as much money as you can into the home loan, knowing you can redraw if necessary. The quicker you pay your home loan the more money you save!!! Especially in the first few years of the loan try to put as much as you can into it, so you start paying off more principal. Well that's what I did anyway
  6. was just about to post this!

  13. IT coding. One of the reasons why the Australian education system is failing. The government brings out new topics and learning areas into an already crowded curriculum every few months, with no professional development for the educators to actually teach the subject effectively.
  14. Coding is now in the Australian curriculum so have to teach that this year Might have to learn it myself though first lol
  15. Ha ha nah, just starting all our topics. Starting literacy topic on Sadako and the thousand paper cranes...so will do a predicting lesson on that, then a summary lesson after each chapter with comprehension questions. Also starting lessons on Hiroshima and the atomic bombing by USA in 1945 to tie in history with literacy. Place value in maths, and a test so I can forward plan from that, library, sport, learning goals for 2016, some about me activities, class expectations and that's the week
  16. I'm working thanks. Already got week one planned [emoji106]

  22. So today is D day, the end date I gave myself to transform my body. Since August this year I gradually started cutting out excess/junk food; from October onwards I became more diligent with cutting out alcohol, sugar and fat from my diet, eating less calories by cutting some carbs and increasing protein (no meat!!!) and water intake. Here are the results. I haven't been perfect as I'm fond of food and a glass a wine very much. I've still enjoyed life...had a beer or a wine now and again, and snuck in a few Lindt balls... Since October 5th this year, I've lost 4.5kg and a total of 31cm from around my body (stomach, hips, bum and thigh) Gym sessions have been more difficult for me mentally and physically, and as you can see from my build thread, a decrease in 1RM weights. However; I've still put in 110% into every weight session and also added some hiit cardio! I can say for the first time I'm proud of my body and how it looks! I'm also proud of myself for staying determined and on track, even with all the things that stood in my path and made things more difficult for me. Finally, I want to thank my partner and trainer for all his help and support throughout this process. Thank you babe for helping train me, for guiding me with food choices, for pushing me when I needed it and for listening to me and putting up with me complain about my body and how I didn't look like female body builders on steroids. Lastly, thank you for showing me that anything is possible.
