  2. It's a cowboy industry, YEE HAA! Enjoy the ride as many of us have to date.
  3. I'd firstly work out exactly what features u need then make a decision on the right ecu for you. I previously had a vipec then moved to blackbox as it had the additional ports I required....nowa days, more tuning shops are playing blackbox which is favourable as well I guess there is no point in spending more if it's not needed...
  4. I highly doubt it's an ADM, however, the taillights did catch my attention:
  5. I'll run Nick from standstill to 100kmh
  6. 3ltr is gooooone. I'm back to the mighty howling rb26 which actually is my preference. Those forklift motors are no good hehe
  7. You can give my TT GTlagR a crack if u like
  8. 3 yr resurrection...perfect timing with the above mods
  9. That Sinco manifold is a true work of art and it's not only me that thinks this....I've never seen such good fabrication! Hey Nick, what is the puff of smoke towards the end of that run from rear cabin view? Is that when u hit the Flux Capacitor injection
  10. 1500hp is crazy. What snail/s are u going to run and what will be the application for this engine, drag?
  11. Thanks all for the feedback...it is very much appreciated and takes out a lot of the guess work
  12. Where did you measure the voltage, from the top hat or are the fuel pump with the pump out of the tank? What u did obviously worked How much power is your donk making?
  13. I had similar thoughts...the supplied walbro harness should be up for the task
  14. I'm using the standard fuel line from boot to rail. I did the same in my previous gtr with rb30 so that will be fine. I did notice today when I changed the fuel filter under bonnet that the rubber line connecting to the underside of the filter was oversized for the standard hard line under the car...it actually felt loose-ish. That could be the culprit How did you run the 34amp thru the top hat? Not sure if I use the existing Anderson plug as I don't want to modify the top hat.
  15. I'm using the wrong terminology...it's not dropping in pressure but rather he cannot increase the fuel pressure relative to boost level
  16. Thanks for the feedback. Did you run 8 gauge to the top hat only (on top of the fuel tank) or did u go direct to the fuel pump? If I'm not getting the voltage I need, the fuel pressure will not be up for the task and this is what I am experiencing. My tuner is certain that this is the issue. My fuel reg was fine with my previous setup (i.e. OEM lift pump with external 044 which ran power direct from batt) so I don't think it's the fuel reg.
  17. Hi Guys, I finally replaced my OEM in tank lift pump with a walbro 460ltr in tank. Quiet as a mouse Had it on the dyno and we couldn't tune it with more than 15psi...as the boost increases and demands more fuel pressure - the fuel pressure was dropping off. I am still running the OEM wiring harness with the added relay, however, as the pump draws up to 20amps, I was told that I need to run a thicker gauge wire direct from the battery to achieve 14v at full load. My question is this (btw, it's an r32 gtr)...can I run the thicker gauge wire to the top of the 'top hat' on the fuel tank (i.e. direct to the Anderson plug) OR do I also need to replace the wiring between the fuel pump itself and the underside of the top hat? From memory, the underside of the top hat also runs an Anderson plug. Has anyone else running a walbro experienced similar voltage issues to myself? From memory, SIR RB runs a walbro in tank as well. I'll also replace the fuel filter in the engine bay for piece of mind as this may be a catayst to drop in fuel pressure.
  18. I've always been a massive fan of the mighty t51r What are your plans with wheels? U gonna fit some big rubber? I think u will need it
  19. I like this build thread. Reminds me of when I did mine
  20. I had the same issue which is why I'm swapping my 044 for the walbro 460
