the other thing you can do is get hold of some silica gel (the sachets you find in shoe boxes) and securely mount some inside the rear main holes of the headlight assembly. the gel will absorb moisture and reduce future fogging.
worked in my bmw
yeah was just about to say that too....and all his mates cars have ACT plates... expired interstate plates make you hard to find but canberra isnt big enough to hide in
had a similar problem in my previous bmw.
check all the bushes, ball joints, and bearings. particularly lower control arm bushings. then check steering rack mounts and even engine mounts and shock absorbers
mine has always scraped.
back when i had standard shocks and springs with 18x8 +35 factory premium alloys and 235-40-18 tyres.... the standard springs had so much travel that the under engine plastic panel would drag along the ground AFTER bumps in the road... the worst suspension ive ever driven on.
now with 2003 model 350z shocks and springs with 20x8.5 +35 235-35-20 up front and 20x10 +42 265-30-20 stretched in the back..... i rarely scrape under the car, but always drag the custom front lip (its lower than parking bay concrete blocks.... an upright iphone barely fits ) and the rear muffler drags occasionally when reversing over driverway gutters.
have only slammed the chassis rails once.
and even with 250kg of fat people in the back seat, the rear only dropped an inch
fyi: the 350z shocks and springs originally felt way too stiff for my liking... but ive grown used to them and am quite happy with the ride. And theyre not stupid low either. Nightcrawlers is definitely lower than a slugs scrotum.
how much for full set of wheel arches (not including guards) plust postage to adelaide?
im after arches, skirts, front bumper, headlights, grille, bonnet, rad support
as said before, you'd be better off using a mobile tablet where the screen is.
if apple made a 7 inch ipad, you could run maps etc on that... and a full OBDII diagnostics display too
lime green
and your mirrors too
and all the little bits that pop off the dash
in all honesty i would keep them matt black and maybe do a coloured logo on them.... fully painted calipers are just too overkill.
g35driver.com has a detailed write-up. its a big job - colour is part of the gauge face. you could carefully sand it off... you could also just as easily ruin the guage face.
but theres no point doing just one part of the dash. it will look out of place. you need to mod every single globe on the dash and radio or none at all
that grill will fit all series 1 v35 sedans (japan 2001-2003, america 2003-2005)
the series 2 grill (japan 2004+, america 2006+) curves upwards on the top and wont fit the series 1
