  1. mufflers are weak...we all know this, sleepers are good however. Make sure you get a dyno vid!
  2. yep as everyone else has said, its purely asthetic...I did and many others have, remove the centre coil pack cover to allow more air through as well, without issue.
  3. Sucks to be him, but it's probably for the best. Only time will tell if the new laws make any impact, i personally doubt it'll make a huge difference, I think it will likely increase young people being fined and suspended though.
  4. just stopping by.. mainly to see if markimak and noel have thrown down a day for their "carpark dustup" half think a thread needs to be started about it...lol
  5. yeah, thats right...weird thing is it's a $60 fine for displaying p's if your not a p plater...lol
  6. yep, surely is, I believe the fine is $120 however, I don't know the points involved.
  7. I think everyone shares those thoughts, although I don't know how friendly it would be racing with Alonso and Hamilton, they seem to have enough problems with just the two of them at Mclaren.
  8. your ignorance, stupidity and lack of ability to get your car on the road always amuses me shane, thats why I keep coming back.
  9. as apposed to...the v8 super car fans being all VB drinking bogans that couldn't drive a car round a track if they tried..probably a generalisation but hey, thats what the internets for right? lol
  10. roflcopter @ djr81.....it's so easy to drift....just smash the throttle and the car does the rest....why don't we all go join the D1 Japan/America series, get paid heaps, drive nice cars, get free cars/parts all while being competition winnahs?
  11. less tards in high powered cars now = less worry that they will drift into me in the wet....sux to be on your p's lol.
  12. tell that to the thousands of people who watch D1 GP....i'd watch drifting anyday over some of the other garbage...I like watching drag racing and circuit racing, but imho drift is just as good. People talking it up, saying it's so boring and easy, why don't you go in an event and put your skill to the test...then come back and tell us all how "easy" it is lol.
  13. hurry up with dyno vids..
  14. lol @ this thread....and Noels intended pot stirring.
  15. Yep, you're screwed and heaps of people have been fined for this before on here....I hope you kept your stock bonnet to clear your defect if/when you get one.
  16. there are entrapment laws in Aus, most relevantly police can't induce you into a crime that you wouldn't have otherwise committed had it not been for the officers conduct...actual provisions are long and boring, but long story short, the officers conduct is weighted against the crime...it'd be interesting to see someone actually attempt to take this through court *looks to josh when he gets fined for it* Most likely scenario is you get reamed anyway as this is a policy matter that the "public", politicians and generally courts don't look kindly upon.
  17. thats a good outcome for the offence committed.
  18. Unfortunately not taxable for everyone, depends on circumstances, primarily your job. Believe it or not, the ATO website is a good starting point for what you can/can't claim.
  19. To cut it very short with the information you've provided, no. Because you'd be claiming them as business expenses, offsetting them against the business's profit, and seen as your business would actually make no profit, you would not have anything to offset against. You will also unlikely be able to offset the expenses against your own income unless they qualify, which they won't unless you work in a specific field. The key with tax is to claim things you wouldn't even think of to get the maximum refund, to then spend on whatever you want. Things like pens, diaries, phone expenses, fuel, insurance, etc, etc...the list goes on. It would take to much time and effort to go through it, go see an accountant and make sure you claim everything you can without having to prove it (unless you can actually prove it). You'll be suprised at all the things you can claim without proof. Woot for specialising in Tax law...maximum benifits for me...
