  1. I'm doing a LS swap with T56 in my V35 250GT at the moment it has the RE4RO1B auto found in the R34 GTT. I found a diff 2way for the LS motor swap but will it grenade my auto if I put it in now
  2. Who is "we"? Well when it starts doing singles I'll do something about it.
  3. Why replace a perfectly good diff. I'll use it until it blows up then replace.
  4. Googling that model number up top would answer that questionIt's for a 350Z VLSD so the 6x1 output shafts standard on 300Gt and above
  5. So I can't get 5.7 crate motors anymore. Spoke to an engineer and because of the weight of the cat a 6lt is good to go. Also doing supporting mods aswell. So right now I'm sourcing every bush whiteline make for the V35 and having them replaced. Also a new engine cross member and brembo brakes.
  6. I have that exact wheel. You can buy it if your keen.
  7. Air box sorry stupid auto correct
  8. I would just leave the stock intake in. Just take off the crap cover on the airbag that graces all sedans, find a power duct and replace the filter. Maybe even think about a Z-tube. Scotty runs a fair amount of power on a stock intake. Those American ones are just a wank factor and do SFA. Up to you tho
  9. I'm in Newcastle mate and I've seen a few stags floating around. We need this cruise to go ahead. Needs to be soon tho
  10. Until it needs to be rebuilt.... Yeah theo I would also love low end torque aswell.
  11. Compared to my 4at it is light Hahahah. I haven't arranged anything still knee deep in research and weighing up costs and such. Yeah I'm pretty keen on the idea looking at dailys at the moment so I can take the skyline off the road. Ralliart Colt or another V35
  12. Going auto also probably won't fit aswell. Would cost more for the wiring aswell and would weigh more. My theory is that if I go manual (light) with the LS1 (heavy) it will sort of balance out the VQ (light) with the auto (heavy) I can find T56 boxes fine. It's the motor. People are asking too stupid prices. 5.5k for a motor with 100000km+ and have to pay more to have it refurb and reconditioned Or buy a crate short motor 5 that is brand spanking new
  13. Get an LS1 they said, it will be cheap they said...... Not! My best option is a crate LS1 short block and recondition a T56 box. Whole cars are at least 8k. Write off's are still expensive. At least with a crate I'll know it hasn't been thrashed within an inch of its life and all shiny and stuff. Bring on all the haters <3 <3
  14. One does not simply flinstone a maxima
  15. I do live on a hill..... Hmmmm
  16. So it's the same as finding a R33 skyline then. Go down to my local marina and pick one? Old mate just said headers and starter motor will be a hurdle
  17. Dale the wise resourceful human that he is sent me a link to a place in Sydney that can do most of the work. Because they specialise in engine swap with this particular motor. Sydney is closer to Newcastle than Mexico. Yeah also starter motor will have to be relocated as well as it will be in the way. Ah screw it...... I'm putting a LS1 with a T56 box, single piece tailshaft and other stuff too. So people I am looking for a whole car preferably. 2002 - 2005 VX/VY and some VZ commodore SS/SV8 Ute or sedan with under or around 130000km and MANUAL Will pay anything up to about 7.5/8k minor damage ok. Just as long as it's drivable.
  18. I sure do but I'll see how it copes
  19. Factory 250GT diff (3x2 bolts) with output shafts $100 Sedan mudspats in QX1 white $20 for the set. HEKO rain visors (clips into gutters instead of over the chrome - for sedan) $50 V35 SEDAN/COUPE & M35 STAG steering column $20 More will be added in time Newcastle based. Pick up or post doesn't bother me. Pm me for details.
  20. Sure is. I've had it once and it was amazing.
  21. Killa burger is my vote for a meet spot
  22. Note: none of the aforementioned items will be going on the car.
