uncommon is what i would use to describe, not rare. Rare means there a degree or level of desirability... at 13k a V35 manual sedan doesn't look desirable compared to its predecessors. don't get me wrong id have one in a heart beat but they're not going for that money anymore. it is a nice car though (never seen a 350GT manual sedan with full manual cloth seats which is odd) and nice colour. all the best with the sale.

That is called the "fauve" interior. Factory option and looks very nice.

Hate to say it but all 250GTs are banned on P-plates and I would presume 300GTs would be as well as the already banned 350GT

ConceptZperformance is a good site for parts. If it's a VQ37VHR I have seen some people modify and put a R35 GTR intake and plenum on. As soon as you start doing internals it gets very pricey. I would ring MV Automatics and see what they can do for a valve body shift kit. Won't be as smooth but the shifts will be quicker.

Hello all. I am soon to be replacing my V35 250GT sedan with a HY34 gloria for the extra power, looks and luxury. I getting more familiar with the VQ engines as I go along so I was just wondering for a general service what I use. My VQ25DD I have now uses a Z445/436 Rico oil filter and 10w40 synthetic? And the ATF is just a general ATF fluid Are they the same. Also brakes. Rotors and pads? Are they shared with other models or unique to the Y34. Any information would be greatly appreciated

2002 V35 250GTe skyline Aka "maxima" VQ25DD Neo Di direction Injection 2.5lt V6. 158kw. 4 speed automatic with manual shifting and a MV Automatics shift kit with new ATF fluid. 1460kg. Recently serviced in March with new belts and plugs. Oil change again at the end of July and will be sold with a fresh change. VLSD. 250GTe is the base model so it has full cloth manual seats, double din stereo and factory option navi. Full clarion sound system (no sub or amp) Factory floor mats. Flare. QX1 ivory white pearl. Power windows, folding mirrors and power steering. Momo steering wheel. One thing that sets this sedan apart from the other is that it's the only one like it in Australia that has had a full M35 stagea front end swap. Headlights, rad support, reo, bumper, grill, bonnet, guards and blinkers. Wired up and all works perfectly.
