  2. From what I hear off many people the Evo GT-A boxes are a heap of shite. Planetary gearsets can move and in turn destroy your box. They're also hard to come by and therefore expensive not to mention the costs of having the box taken out and having it all replaced. This is the one thing that put me off getting one. They are a hoot to drive. Quicker than their specs make out.
  3. sedans there is so many different sub grades of each engine grade it is not funny. I have a 250GTe (base model, manual seats, double din and fixed back seat) , there is also 250GT, 250GTm, 300GT and 300GT premium. All models bare base 250GT had the option for s collection (black leather/suede) or p collection which is full cream leather. All models got power fold mirrors. Auto dipping was an option (by itself or part of a pack with camera) For sedan owners if you want to know more let me know.
  4. Not everyone wants a bit of aids in their dash compared to oem. I was lucky enough to get one factory. It's like comparing a proton to a Lexus. Both do the same job. But one is made nicer, will last longer and you won't look like a cheap Kent. The metra looks so out of place.
  5. It is worth the money to spend a get a genuine one. The buttons and quality of the metra is crap. TThe genuine one blends in perfectly buttons feel nicer. A lot of NM35 stageas had them factory. They're the same dash and everything.
  6. Amayama. You will need to provide your chassis code (should be V35-****** on your build plate) to get specific part numbers. Or Goto or ring a Nissan dealer. Provide the same chassis code
  7. I'm surprised he didn't call it a maxima
  8. Wow its been a long time since last update. I have full aero. Stag aero bumper in blue, stag aero skirts in silver and a new rear bumper and lower aero lip in pearl white. It will get painted one day. New bushes up front and engine crossmember getting done. Got the racks back on and a new huffy slider (because I know how much Dale Laughton loves them) Factory lace seat top covers are on the hunt
  9. pm Scotty Nm35. He is the man to see. Stuff idea and Nissan.
  10. You can buy duck lip boots but -they're either fibreglass or carbon fibre. -they're from the states so shipping is not cheap. -they don't align perfect as per oem.
  11. I'm sorry for the million posts last night my phone was on its rags. I thought sedans came manual but from what I read obviously not. I learnt something today.
  12. V36 350GT VQ35HR 5sp auto/6speed manual. V36 370GT VQ37HR 7sp auto/6speed manual. From memory the 350GT sedans came auto and manual. Not sure about 370GT sedans. Iron Chef Imports. Google/Facebook them for a decent genuine low Km from Japan. Model of choice 350/370GT "SP" leather, sunroof and a camera under the passenger mirror to help reverse Park.

  17. V36 350GT has a VQ35HR and the V36 370Gt has a VQ37HR. From memory the 350GT carries over a 5AT and 6MT The 370GT has a 7AT and 6MT. Sedans mostly auto. I would get in contact with Kristian or troy from iron chef imports to get a good genuine low Km from Japan. My choice would be the 350/370GT SP (sport premium)
  18. An mate if mine in the states sells polished plenums and does heaps of polished parts, not my style of modification but still awesome. That's what he does.
  19. Just get the buttons and surround from a USDM G37 I'm sure there would be a few floating around on eBay.
  20. G35/V35 coupe mirrors won't work as the stageas/sedans share the same front and the windscreen is more upright where the V35 coupe has lower roofline so there for the doors are different and the bases are different. If that makes sense?
  21. I was on the Page for less than a day and I got booted because someone couldn't take a little criticism.
  22. Mine has been broken for ages. You can manualy release it. Just pull the right hand side boot trim off and pull the plastic pin to release and push it back when your done. I have to replace mine soon. Cheapest I've seen is from the states.
