  3. Hi guys, Well I'm almost there, but I am currently S.T.U.C.K with an injector problem... The Injectors will not fire and hence it wont start. I have tested the injectors with a golbe and they are not getting any power/signal. I am sure that it will run once they are firing but I can not work out why they wont fire. The fuel rail has pressure, I have had the TPS out and it tested fine but has been rebuilt to make sure. The throttle system seams to be working fine. We have perfect spark. just no fuel. I have thought about trying a different ECU but surely given spark is ok it wont be the ecu? Perhaps its the Injector power supply? is there a fuse for the injectors? Any ideas? very frustrated.... Cheers Stirlo!
  4. Hey Mike, You one of TC's mates right? Good to see you aboard!
  5. Hi guys, Well this has been an on going issue now, but I am finnaly getting somewhere. I wont go into everything, but I have had a turbo go and my throttle cable come off (at the same time) and car has not run since. The engine is ok. I have now replaced the turbos, but the Injectors will not fire and hence it wont start. I have tested the injectors with a golbe and they are not getting any power/signal. I am sure that it will run once they are firing but I can not work out why they wont fire. The fuel rail has pressure, I have had the TPS out and it tested fine but has been rebuilt to make sure. 6. Hey Brendan, Those pics you posted are they of your actual turbos? as they are different! you will notice that one is a 1-1 and the other is 1-2. From my experiance the 1-1 are from an R32 GTR, and 1-2 is from an R33 GTR. Also the .42 is deffinatly different to mine (that were stock 32 GTR ones, but are now stock 33 GTR ones, as mine were/are .24, do they have steel wheels? if they do they may be N1 turbos but normally N1's have a Blanl Rectangle on the outlet of the intake wheel. and I didn't see that on your turbos. Do you have a full pic of the front now the turbos are off? Cheers!
  7. All I can say is, Ed quoted me on a few things like swapping turbos etc.. and I was taken back.. so much so that I decided to do it my slef.... Man... I know hwy it cost's a bit, changing the turbos on a GTR is one ****ing anoying job, and not one I'll rush into doing again. And yeah I belive he is fairly priced, but you are paying for experiance and the ability to drive in... drive out.. dont even have to clean your hands, thats a pretty big deal. If you have the means to do it your self (and the time) I say go for it, it definatly saves money, but be prepared to be with out a car for a few months and have lots of band aids available, be prepared for pain and frustration.... taking an engine out is no easy feat, the concept is simple, unbolt pull out, put in, bolt up, but there is alot more to the application.. If you have the means to pay some one to the the job in several days, Pay it! Ed's work is top notch! and he is a top, bloke, you get what you pay for! Trojan are also a good work shop and reasonable priced, I dont know the guys there, but I do know Ed very well. Have known him for 4-5 years, out side of the whole car scene, He will give you no end of help! Good luck with you decision.! Cheers Stirlo!
  8. Hey... I live in Richardson....
  9. HAHAHA!!! I see right through you.. well actually I was thinking about my own experiances I learnt to drive in a CRX... the poor thing.
  10. un-hit some curbs I'd say Its possible that there is a twist or warp in the susspention from a previous gutter hit, or some thing like that, its only really a problem if it effects drivability. It is not going to be much and looks like they can use adjustments to counter act it as its not at the limit. I wouldnt worry... or, get coil overs and replace the std suspention. Remember you have no actual history of cars being imported, and it is a skyline, you can pretty much see how most of them are driven... same way we do!
  11. Kawasaki STX 1100 three seater. appaerntly yes but I havent tryed. I know of some one that was pulling two skiiers with the same ski, so should be fine.

    Cruise Time??

Heres an Idea. As I will be at the GOLD COAST on that day, how abouit pushing it back alittle, early March say Sat the 12th, I know its getting late but weather will still be good then. I ususally cruise down to Nellign which is at the bottom of the clyde. there is a small road that leads to a small beach on the lake, where I can meet you with the Jetski.. have a made day on the water (I'll hurt you all), and then cruise home up the clide. This makes the best of the drive = the clyde and fun day on the water. All I would ask is that people chip in and pay for fuel. *I am the only one that can "pilot" the jetski as you must be licenced and the fine is insane. but anyone can ride it and it can tow biscuits no worrys, etc... pls post in here if you are interested.
  19. Geez sorry guys I missed all this! um leach It would alsolutly destroy your pool. but happy to try hahahaha
