  1. Oh wow, could be that simple. I am getting it serviced at Sinergy on Monday and hopefully they can change those bits. I have the g35 eibach pro springs. So shouldn't be them, was happening before that anyway. I have 275 on the rears and they were 600 new the tyres. Good quality Khumos. Does that kit you linked too, do both sides? Thankyou heaps for that. Hopefully it is that simple, because it is an horrendous with the lofty ravenes 1 metre to your left and your car not turning!
  2. Hi all. good to be back on here. In the last year I have been having a problem with my front left and sometimes right wheel. If i go into a sweeping corner at a decent speed or just going through Mount Lofty quickly my front left wheel is locking up which is terrifying! It is not understeer as I have done countless laps on Mallallalallalala in a VE and understand understeer. This usually happens when i either or start to brake. This is not an issue known to these cars so there is something going on. The wheel feels like it brakes, then lets go and if i continue the corner will brake again and release. Generally the "Slip" light will flash on as it is happening. My friends V has done the same thing sometimes but under harder cornering than when it happens to me. I have nice lowered suspension on brand new springs and shockers. I have after market anti sway bars. And my wheel alignment has just been nailed with a brand new tyre change. I have done a bit of research but cannot find anyone who has had this problem. Its very hard to describe. Possibly loose brake pads, caliper is out of allignment, ABS or traction control electronic issue. If anyone has any insight it would be fantastic as it completely kills driving my car. Thanks!
  3. Hi all. Just about to pick up a set of Tokico HP blue struts for the V. I have the Eibach G35 Pro kit springs and a eibach rear camber kit. Anything else I should change while I am at it? I may as well change any other suspension bits while it's all being installed. I have 2 Eibach anti sway bars installed so that is done. Thanks guys
  4. You're a scholar mate. Thankyou. I needed someone in Australia to give a good opinion. I was looking at the Tanabe DF210s. 1.7 in the front and 1.3 in the rear and that would just be so low. With big 19s which sit outside the guards, having less than 2cms clearance from the top of the tire to the fender would just be dumb. Also for the shipping price Conceptz is offering, it works out to be hundreds cheaper than finding the cheapest parts in different stores.
  5. Yeah i am mate, a nice one. Good pulling guys over to talk about cars Im thinking tanabe DF210s maybe for the springs. More aggressive drop.
  6. Hi all.. Just need some input for new gear I am about to order from the states. Doing the suspension this time. On the order i have. 1. Berk Technology G35 High Flow cats. 2. Eibach 5.72050K Rear Camber Arm 03-06 Sedan, 03-07 Coupe G35 V35 3. Eibach 6365.140 G35 Pro-Kit Springs 03-07 Coupe V35 4. Hotchkis 22413 G35 Adjustable Sway Bars 03-06 Sedan, 03-07 Coupe RWD ONLY I was going to go with BC racing coilovers, but as these are defectable in South Australia I better not risk it. Even though I would be defected by my fellow cop brethren, I don't want that hassle. And i really only want a 1 inchish drop. What are your thoughts? 1200 + 275 for postage for the lot. Pretty reasonable. Feedback please Thanks all
  7. Yeah your dead right mate. I just never knew what option to take. Needed some help. Just sitting up at mount lofty. Took her for 15 minutes of spirited handling ....im in love. Havent done it for so long. Forgot what I was missing.
  8. Can i just upgrade springs? http://www.conceptzperformance.com/cart/description.php?II=340&Car_Type=G35&UID=20130622035509114.30.99.5 Or get these? http://www.conceptzperformance.com/cart/description.php?II=6904&Car_Type=G35&UID=20130622035509114.30.99.5
  9. Best option for that? Without spending thousands...cheap but effective.
  10. Chucked my sexy new 19" inch Koya wheels on the other day. 275 rear goodness. Just waiting for my new electric blue Akebono big brake kit and then all that's left is my new high flow cats in and I will be finished! Those big 14inch rotors will fill in the space beautifully. ENJOY!
  11. High enough and low enough. I've had chicks of all heights drive my car with no issue. Your V will be a welcomed addition to your family and one your Mrs with love to drive. Trust me.
  12. Yeah that's what i figure mate. How hot would your brakes get around the city or through the hills?? nothing compared to repeated track laps. I'm confident enough to get cross and slotted!
  13. Locky if you read what iamhe77 has actually written, for the brake set alone from Z1 it is free shipping. Confirmed by Z1 themselves. So where is the magical $800 extra coming from? I've done some reading on cross drilled. I'm not going to be driving track, I do that in the cop cars enough. So crossed drilled is "ok" unless your using them in severe applications, street driving....severe? no, unless you want to be stopped by me and have a chat with a friendly officer Worst case scenario I change rotors if they happen to crack after however many ks? meh
  14. I just think its a reasonably priced viable option for safer brakes...and you can go through the hills in comfort. Im going to get mine powder coated yellow/gold. Cross drilled and slotted will look sweet. I have expensive tyres, so makes sense to get better brakes if they can handle it.
  15. I'm not worried about being illegal. Where I drive, all the cops know me Advantage of being "in house" Is there a disadvantage to the adapter? Why illegal? I have aftermarket 18s. The site says fits 18s and above...Hopefully is ok, i can print out a template to check.
  16. Bright Electric Pink With big black wheels
  17. I'll just wait back to hear from the two companies and see how I go! I'll keep yours in my mind too! $495 from Conceptz....so that would be $2335. Not bad for alot of kit....I will see what the z1 site does it for with the berk HFCs too.
  18. Ahh, have you got any specific photos and specs of your kit? link maybe. Yeah i have looked at the z1 site, 2500 and 200 delivery that includes berk hfcs and a free cap!!! I just pmd conceptz for a quote. See how we go. Ps. Get back from Thailand 17th June...so that soon
  19. Hi All. Once I get back from my Thailand Trip!! Wooo, ill be making some new upgrades. I'm looking to get a new brake kit that's not 10 grand like most of them. http://conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=3303&Car_Type=G35&UID=20130524002102219.90.244.239 This akebono seems like a better upgrade from just stock brakes. I know it's no brembos but better than stock. Anyone know of any other places to get them? Or a different option maybe. Thanks
  20. Fantastic. Thanks mate. How much do they charge?
  21. Hey all Adelaidians. Question for all. Who can recommend a good tuner and servicer for my v35. Got a few performance mods...need a good tune. I live near the city so not to fussy about locations. Answers appreciated
  22. Hi all. Good to be back on here again. I have noticed more so in the last few months (maybe I'm going crazy) that when im in drive wheather it be sports shift or normal, that when im cruising on 60 kp/h and then floor it (foot to floor), it take at least 1.5 seconds to actually drop to a decent gear and take it, when it does its brutal. Anyone know anything you can do to eleviate this problem. I drive the VE Commodore as Police cars and they are pathetic with the lag when flooring literally feels like dough, and I'm disappointed that my car is now like this. I have a Transgo shift kit in, wheather or not that is causing any problems I am unsure. Love to hear your input all. Thanks!
  23. Hi all... Been off here a while now. Good to be back. Quick question, if you have the stock basic gauges (instrument cluster) are you able to upgrade to the premium model? http://www.ebay.com/itm/03-07-INFINITI-G35-AUTOMATIC-SPEEDOMETER-OEM-/200821103813?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2ec1dedcc5&vxp=mtr That one to be exact. Ta much
