  3. Hey all, I know this is another thread, but still... it can't be too bad for us all for future reference. I'm wanting to know what these connectors are for and also what these little black boxes are. All of it is from underneath the dash. mostly from centre area and toward passenger side. I believe that they are for stereo, a/c & heater controls, glovebox light, possibly the sensor for a/c??, cigarette lighter... but there's more than just those - can anyone identify these at all???? They aren't connected an i believe they're not required, but i dont want to cut them out until i get some feedback. cheers.
  4. as title suggests... I'm after R32 rear brake lines to suit 2 pot caliper rear - only the short soft ones from the caliper to hard line. either standard ones or may be interested in braided ones. located in SA PLEASE PM ME re: this. cheers.
  5. +1 !!! great streeter setup. also add a decent diff of some sore depending on what you want the car for... 1 way / 1.5 way / 2 way.... decent seat / gtr seats.
  6. ooooh oooooh you're a legend!!! i've just been looking for FAST so yer can I have it plllleeaaase ? How do i get it???
  7. yeah sweet. what's the go with the electronic suspension dampening??? is this for real? never heard of it, especially on a 1989 model vehicle lol. also any idea where i can track the part numbers to confirm this????
  8. Ok all you complete cefiro car owners... I need some help!!!! my cefiro was factory auto / hicas / abs / sunroof / electric everything... all is since gone except for the electrical trail.... I'm trying to eliminate all the excess wiring. To start off - what are these boxes????? Also they have part numbers - how do I search the part numbers? maybe they will tell me what they were for and tell me if i can get rid of them... LARGER BOX (located in driver's kick panel): 31036 73L00 A64-000 L42 9Y01 SMALLER BOX (located on passenger side i believe): P.No 28505 84 L00 Lot No 9Y01012 MFR Name KYB <-------- KYB??? is this for suspension????????????? Thanks in advance guys... BTW if anyone has a CEFIRO specific wiring diagram PLEASE link me / email it to me. I've got RB20DET / RB26 (only to suit gts4 though) - I can get some info from it but not everything... ...AND a teaser of the car as it sits atm (also with wiring already removed)
  9. yeah nice pic. I was there at setonai circuit with justin and laurence. we were there for msc event. even got a pic with orido as he was there judging... ...anyway back on topic my reason for removing initially was because the unit was leaking... brake fluid leak is terrible for paint/metal... still happy it's gone though.
  10. It's not hard to do, done it with good results. pm sent with pic
  11. yeah sweet... sounds good then
  12. sorry, need to clarify... i've done the rb25 gearbox and navara gear drive conversion years ago... works great. I was using the original cefiro speedo cable with it and all was good until the cable broke. I got another cefiro cable from another cefiro and it did not fit on the gear drive end. which is why I just wanted to clarify part numbers etc. cheers
  13. interethe cable . i had another one from a cefiro but this had a 25 in it, and the cable was not correct, it didn't want to go into the gear drive... hhhmmm
  14. wouldn't know a part number at all???? cheers
  15. check the FS cefiro section - Jinman has cefiro roof spoilers for sale. perfect fit - ready to go already in AUS!
  16. ** grossly overdue update ** well it's been over a year and things are happening slowly, but at least it's happening!!! Over the last year the car has had a full cams cage fitted, seam welding done apart from that it's been collecting dust As for the engine - work on this has recently commenced. I've got James from NISSPEED here in SA doing the build - he's just successfully finished a RB26/30 build making over 1000 RWHP + nitrous! I'm hoping to have my motor completed by about July. Things I have purchased and dropped off so far: RB26 head TOMEI cam gears 6boost manifold tial ext gate gt3076r NISMO oil pump (not N1) NISMO thermostat NISMO engine mounts (to be used when doing a test fit of oversized sump on dummy block) CP pistons 9.0:1 CR Spool Rods ARP bolts ACL bearings external head drain -> sump oil restrictors for the head MLS 1.2mm metal head gasket ATI 1000 HP harmonic balancer xtreme drift clutch 1000cc injectors 3 L surge tank with 2x bracket for 044 external pumps RB30 block has been stripped, acid dipped - it is ready to be bored/honed RB30 crank has been blueprinted/machined/cracktested - ready for crank collar next stage of the motor is to send off all the main bottom end bits to be balanced. I think main items that I still need to get are Main and head studs, water pump, custom tensioner kit (NISSPEED), splitfires, 2 x external fuel pumps - so still a fair way off lol. As for the car - that is going out in april to go get the front guards tubbed and then off for paint again! I will try keep this updated Thanks
  17. Hi all, I'm after both of the small square, purple, translucent, plugs that go into the top of the cefiro dash. There is one either side of the windscreen demister. they are only small, made of plastic - would like them posted to SA 5091. can pay via c.o.d / paypal / bank deposit Also if anyone has a complete cefiro dash, unmolestered, grey, minus inserts/cluster/vents etc.... I may be interested in this also Cheers -Matt
  18. well, summit have come through with the goods - received the balancer the other day - no problems and will happily shop with them again
  19. hi are they hi or low impedance - also what connecters do they require? also where are you located? thanks
  20. .. Well, just purchased this from summit. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ATI-917752/ thanks for the help
  21. Same with all if the above... rebuilding the motor, and my engine builder recommended the ati over the Ross, however he did say the STD item would be fine for my application (again I didn't have a standard one and would prefer to purchase a new item over 2nd hand item).
  22. Yeah I did email them,, but they have no pics of the grooves for comparison
  23. Thanks for the heads up bubba - priced it up with checkout and it's currently $725 delivered $Aus. I just want to look at the 33/34 version to 110% confirm that it will not suit my pulleys etc.
  24. well the grooves on my pulleys look the same as above so I'll get the 32 one i reackon thanks again.
