  2. hardly any1 with a RB25/RB20 has used a RB26DET injectors because of the Impedance difference. GTR uses Lower OHM compaired to the RB25 (side feed)/RB20 (Top feed)/SR20 (side feed) which are higher. You can bring down the ohm by buyin a resistor back. I would suggest to buy some nismo or bosh ones so that go in quiet easy into your car.
  3. What exactly have you done to your car?...from my point of view it sounds like its stock at the moment correct? Remember when upgrading a turbo you would need to upgrade everything else to cope with the new power its going to increase on your engine. I would not touch a turbo unless your car is breathing properly, Full exhaust/Intercooler, Secondly you would need the fueling system to cope, Fuel pump / Injectors (depending on how far you wanna go)/ Fuel Pressure Regulator. After that you would need a ECU to tune everything correctly. Not trying to sell you out here, if its a really good price buy it but dont install it is my advice, untill everything is fine. I wouldnt run more then 1bar on that thing, 10psi as meg said if your just crusing around the streets, from what ive heard from people who had done this, said you start spooling around 3500-4000 rpm (if you dont mind the lag also) once turbo kicks in hold both steering wheel with 2 hands Have fun with it mate, Best of luck just remember if you let this bargin go away im here 2 grab it Joe.

  5. I beleive the Pro version gave you the Boost module & was more based on drags. If you want to leave your stock turbo go for a SAFC theres no need to fork out $1400+ when u can spend $500 on what you need done.
  6. Iridiums all the way man. I had NGK R before & once i replaced the Iridiums on god did the engine felt like a new car. It ran so smooth. Took a while to replace the plugs though since we got a pipe that goes right over the rocker cover My car should be getting around 160rwkw nothing near what your car is making but i go for Iridiums.
  7. if i was you i would go for a motec i heard there a model for a plug & play r33 gtst & a r32 can be done if asked & it also allows you to remove the Air Flow Meters, so you can just run a massive pipe stright to your new after market turbo I brought me a Power FC for my r32 gtst (HCR32) it was hard to come by but if u try hard enough u will find it. *NOTE* HCR32 Power FC was made on demand by AP Engineering (APEXi Engineering) it was never a item you can find on the apexi catalogue, i beleived it was a remapped r33 or a r32 gtr Power FC unit to suit the R32 GTST (HCR32). If you cant find the Power FC or your not willing to go for the motec it the better option. If you would like to search for the power fc the part number is Skyline HCR32 RB20DET 89/5 - 93/7 118,000 4E14N07Z Only MT Thank Meggela for the part number. Hope this helps.
  8. i got myself a R33 GTR fuel pump & it works like a charm, i cant remember the rating of the R33 GTR fuel pump but im pretty sure its around 400cc or so. All you need is a hose clamp 2 install it & just swap them over & your pretty much done, but what i would do since your playing around with the fueling system already is 2 change the fuel lines with some new hoses.

  12. Yeah i found out that the GTR injectors wont work on the GTST because of the high & low impendence. Im planning to find me a Power FC (AP) for the R32 GTST to run the injectors, Im quite sure that you CANNOT remap the ecu to run them as its is in the driver itself not the software. What i have found out is that, Link sells a Resistor pack to bring the impendence up so you can run them, i think there called Link Ballistic pack or something of that nature. Im not sure if it will work or not, but its bloody interesting... Joe.
  13. did you cut the front bar only because u wanted to or was the intercooler in the way when i mounted my intercooler on it sliped stright on the bar with no problems what so ever (i have a r33 gtr intercooler) im gonna air saw it off 2 put on some mesh but atm i couldnt care less, as i got more things 2 worry about *cough* GTR INJECTORS *cough*
  14. How much does to4e generally go for? + you would need a new manifold of couse 2 fit it upgrading a turbo is not a cheap exercise
  15. I was thinking of doiin clints idea of getting a custom plenum or modding it so the intake is down below or on the other side. I researched about it doin it & the news wasnt to great, since the intake is on the middle of the plenum the air feed is giving all the cylinders/throttle body evenly where if you mod it so the pipe connects to the bottom of the plenum it will give more air 2 one of the cylinders/throttle body then to the rest of them, hence not a good idea. It was engineered that way for a reason. Custom plenum is a good way 2 go but it all depends on if you plan to run crazy amout of boost or not, & it wont be cheap either. So do what BOOSTMEISTER did its nice! BOOSTMEISTER: what did you do with the hose thats connects to each other on top of the rocker cover where your U shape curve goes, reconnected with a longer hose?... Joe.
  16. If your unsure of how much power you want to produce (like myself) Buy a GTR intercooler, if you want more power keep the end tanks & get a better flowing core.
  17. meggala is correct Alot of aftermarket ECU do have boost controll but have heard there not that great. Keep it separate & get a new Blitz Dual EBC AVCR is over rated, its just pretty lookin boost controller.
  18. GTR injectors are top feed low impendence RX7 series 5 are top feed high impendence R33 gtst = Side feed high impendence you can change the fueling systems.
  19. ive heard a remap ecu wont work due to the driver of the ecu the ecu was designed to only run high impendence injectors but hey i could be totally wrong & u can remap the ecu 2 run low impendence injectors.
  20. I wouldnt have a clue myself 2 be honest. I dont even know who has one let alone installed one, but i would imagine it will give u 20kw or so as safc does but the e-manage can do quite a bit more if tuned correctly with the right software. It sounds promising thats fur sure, i already have a SAFC so i dont think i will be forkin out $400 2 see what this toy can do
  21. NGK Idirdums for the RB20DET part code is bcpr6eix or -11 without the -11 its pregapped to 0.8m I just put some of them on & man did the car feel like a new car. When you purchase them make sure u dont buy it no more then $18.50 since rrp are $18.50 as advertised on zoom & other car mags.
  22. 400HP, To be honest mate, just get it all over & done with & get a Power FC for your car If you get the e-manage & then want more power (which you will) then i will need to sell it & wanting a power fc get it tune it right & ur done with the computer side of things.
  23. it all depends on how much power you wanna make. If you can pick up a R33 GTR intercooler for $500-700 its pretty much a steal since wreakers are askin for $950 or so for them. when lookin for a gtr intercooler (tube/fin) make sure the tubes aint bent, make sure you look carefully inside! Fins are easily repaired, just make sure its all in ok condition. You also gotta consider the mounting & also piping, once you buy the intercooler the piping will set u back $600+ (Shop around for this) Stock R33 intercooler....well dont expect more then $100 2 be honest. Hope this helps.
  24. i dont think it would even work 2 be honest. gtr injectors are top feed, low impendence r33 gts are side feed high impendence. since its low impendence, you would require a new ecu to run the low impenence ecu.
  25. I saw the price on on nenguns website & i dont know if its just the hardware or if it includes the software or what-not. But aint it just like the safc?..
