I actually just bought a clutch off a guy today that had a t51r SPL on a rb26. He was hitting full boost (forgot to ask what boost) At 5500 which is not bad at all. Also Trent from mercury Motorsport runs a PT7675 on a rb26 making 35-40psi at about 6000rpm on which he explains is tired and low comp with 110psi across all cylinders. I was just worried I may of needed to run nitrous if I had too much lag on my rb30 but it sounds like I would be okay with my extra .4Litres of displacement. Any other experiences will be greatly appreciated

Eoi - Cusco 5 Point Roll Cage (Half Cage)
ISLIDE013 replied to Frosty's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Yeah calaonic The rules here in Victoria recently changed due to an accident resulting in injury on the track so the jap cages are worth nothing here anymore and everybody has gone custom weld on cage jobs. VICdrift has changed the regulations according to cams spec which is the thicker diameter main hoop. -
Mate I was selling up only due to wanting to build a more mental Rb either 3.2 or 3.4 litre with a stupendously sized turbo but ill thrash this motor until it lets go now. I though I'd be able to sell it easier if it was brand new and could be inspected so I put it up for sale just to see if I had interest.

Okay so I know Trent's running a 7675 and have spoken to him already but I'm wondering about the response of these turbos that only people have experienced. I have the 7675 in my site but the t51r and gt4202 and closely sized. Any info would help. My Gtr is running a rb26/30 and currently have a 72mm turbo but lookin to up the anti possibly. People are probly going to ask my power goal so I'm going to say 700-800hpwhp and car will be run on e85. I know my turbo may be capable of the power but I don't want to run 40psi to make it either. Car is street registered but wouldn't mind taken it to the strip either and being fairly competitive. Really just scared of too much lag with a rev limit of say 8000rpm and don't want to "have to" run nitrous but I will if I have to.

i have a Mr turbo billet 72mm turbo "S72-GTS" with a .81 rear housing which is rated 800-1000hp (they say) Which is hanging on a built 26/30 Should have it running and tuned by january so i will post results. There was a VL calais with same turbo and motor combo pushing out 450rwkw on 18psi pump fuel. I will be running e85 and around double the boost so we shall see how it goes. 6boost also promotes and sells these turbos if that helps with anything. Also has or had one on his personal car which was a 8 or 9 second corolla i think....

Bride Copy Fitting In R33
ISLIDE013 replied to Savtraxx's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Mate I can get better copies then that for a lot cheaper Kevlar back aswell -
Nah I don't believe it's necessary. I could go on for days about that but an easy answer is that rob (RIPS NZ) is running 1400hp 10,000rpm without a grouted block all though that's RWD but he said he never uses grout on any of his Gtr builds either. Which reminds me the bores have also been sleeved in this motor.

This motor is about to go in my car but wanting to go down a different path. If I get interest will sell before I run it in my car. Motor is ready to drop in to a r32/33 and maybe 34. All you need is ECU and fuel setup. Motor is brand new and hasn't turned key yet. Bottom end was assembled by duggans balancing in resivoir VIC head was supplied by Kyle at 6boost Specs are: HEAD (supplied by 6boost) - extensively ported - 1mm oversized ferrea valves - performance valve springs - Tighe cams (274 intake, 278 exhaust, 11mm lift) - greddy adjustable cam gears - cometic head gasket - rear oil drain in back of head returning to sump BOTTOM END - All the usual machining associated with a bottom end like this - Argo I beam rods and JE/nitto pistons - 8.8:1 compression - Ross harmonic balancer - Jun oil pump - oil restictors in block - Pro fabrications extended sump - half inch head and main studs -pro engines 4wd sump adaptor kit -tomei sump baffle and oil pan (trap door design) HOT SIDE Billet S72-GTS 72mm inducer .81 rear housing rated at 900-1000hp 6boost manifold 60mm powergate COLD SIDE Greddy single throtrle plenum VH45/Q45 90mm throttle body ID2000cc injectors Misc: N1 engine mounts Splitfire coilpacks Probly a heap more I'm missing out on that's just off the top of my head.. Spent well over that. Suit someone wanting to do a big power build and Dosnt want to wait for a motor to be built from scratch. I'd be hoping for 530kw-550kw on E85 due to restrictive rear housing but with good response for street. Willing to run in and tune before sale also to prove dyno result.
