From my experience, whack it on and hope for the best. When I put my AM steering wheel, the boss kit was the wrong type, and didnt cancel the indicators and was very hard to steer. Since got another one and its all going good TOUCH WOOD
Mick - try MPVR (Mobile Plastic & Vinyl Repairs) Mike is the owner operator and he does a good job at a good price 0417024124. Which video shop did your car get broken into at???
adam_rsx - don't bother trying to put your turbo timer next to your head unit. i tried it and it was a major hassle. i ended up putting it on the RHS of the steering column on the hard plastic part just above your knee. there was 4 slots in the plastic as well (i cut out a small rectangle usign them) so the wires can come from behind the dash and straight through the hole so they are hidden
don't use arc/stick welders on intercooler pipe work! the welds aren't neat enough, and the "slag" produced on the inside of the pipe can be sucked into your engine/turbo and really feck things up!
I was always led to believe that the "foam" type pod filters (HKS dome pods + airinx) were a disposable item, and once soiled a new foam was to be fitted ($50).
The paper mesh type (K&N) are cleanable with the K&N Filter Cleaner kit.
depending on what is bent, if you know the right places to look it won't cost too much.
control arm- $195
sway bar link - $30
radius rod - $95
radius rod mount - $50
strut + spring - $150
steering rack end - $110
r33 standard rim - $80
so for parts you will be looking at $700. if you can install all the stuff your self (isnt that hard!) it should be a cheap fix!
