  3. yeh just tightening it up. was yanking on her as much as i could last time, but still wasn't locking up! I have new brakes to go on as well

  5. anyone got any pics up yet??
  6. had a pretty average day myself completed all of one timed lap for the day (practice session), which was spent in traffic anyway. had a decent spin at southern loop on my second lap, had to come back in to clean out all the kitty litter. Didn't go out for the 2nd session as it was wet by then, and by the time my group even had a chance for a 3rd session it was mid afternoon, two cars were off and track conditions were sketchy. decided to cut my losses and pack it up. But now for the silver lining. For the time i was on track, the car felt unreal so i'm itching to get out there again for a few more laps!
  7. bah! let us have our moment. FWD is kinda like the Special Olympics of DECA anyway. doesn't matter if you win...mmm you know the rest

  9. +1 Have used the transfer station a few times. first time, was about 50litres or so, and they charged me. second time my bro took down even more and he got to dump it for free they've just got a BIG tank there you pour it into. speaking of, our 20L cooking oil drum is full again as well, looks like i'll be making a trip their soon
  10. keen on the results and vids, of course!
  11. yep another great DECA, heaps of fun Got to admit, after the morning skidpan session, i was very demoralised, and ready to kill whoever came up with the idea of steering AND driving the same wheels But, by the end of the day, was driving it a fair bit better, and having a ball the open diff really makes it easy to find the rev limiter Long and Mini wangs were great as usual, got me pumped for more circuit work...i.e. Philip Island weekend next month Got a decent list of jobs to do to the car as well now; #1 - get the handbrake to work... and of course, BIG thanks to all the organisers and volunteers. wouldn't have happened without ya!
  12. um, anyone else kinda confused as to the intentions? if they were gonna mug him, they had the chance early on, when he was on the ground. or if they just wanted to beat the crap out of someone, why all the pausing and hanging around? ahh, the article has an answer if there's no other motive, then these guys are just royally farked up. more about getting their jollies from kickin a head in, than the actual robbery fingers crossed their next 'victim' is someone like RBPOWA's work mate knock em down a peg or two
