  1. but that rarely happens doesn't it richard as you drive it carefully and gently. RIGHT?
  2. Sorry to hear that. They where talking up your ass. may i suggest for tunes take it to a well known place. For example CRD or w/e depending on location. Tunes are VERY important to a car and in the wrong hands it can be quite costly. A good workshop will tell you if it's not worth doing something because they understand that word of mouth travels far. If you get a good experience you are likely to send business their way. Keep an eye out on import moster/ebay/forums here for a PFC and you will find one cheap!
  3. That 1 must be a SERIOUS R33.............. or is it series IDK
  4. Mines ECU cannot be tuned. they can possibly re chip it to their tune but you will likely be locked into that tuner. I got a quote to re chip my ECU for lulz and it was $1200 to re chip and flash it with a tune. Just go out and find a second hand PFC for like $400-500 (shop around you will find one) and get it tuned properly. Ill pick my GTR up today. ECU+tune cost me $1000...and that will allow you to get it tuned pretty much anywhere.
  5. apparently i might have my GTR back tonight... It's literally about to go on the dyno... SO keen!!! BECAUSE NO MORE WORK NEEDS DOING. Until something breaks. CRY.
  6. also MK released a special edition for classification rofl saw that coming from a mile away hahahhaa
  7. Im yet to run them properly. Someone will know... Considering how widely they are used id say its pretty good.
  8. nope. They are surprisingly good in the rain!
  9. ill be shoving 595 rsrs on mine when i have some money... Thats a big when. I finish my job next month so will have to wait and see what happens..........
  10. i assume you mean personal message? rather than Project Management lol
  11. alright mate point taken...
  12. Ill bring some beer over next time mate. HOPEFULLY ill have mine back on friday but it sounds promising. Thats good to hear it all worked out!
  13. How sad... NOT http://www.news.com.au/business/companies/end-of-the-road-for-ford-falcon-and-holden-commodore-in-2016/story-fnda1bsz-1226554833139
  14. farrr less can go wrong in an n/a compared to a turbo. But yes if something does it isn't overly cheap. I did once make it from renmark (SA) to canberra on 1 tank however...
  15. I had my N/A for 5 years and nothing broke on it. Only general maintenance.
  16. I found no issues with my N/A skyline. I would 100% own one again if i didn't chose a motorbike as a daily. they make perfect daily drives. Sure they are not overly powerful but you can still drift them and everything is in perspective. If someone takes an N/A skyline to a track to have a bit of fun and they have not driven anything quicker they will have the time of their life. It's like if someone has not driven a 200kw car before they will find it crazy at first. But if someone comes in from a 500kw car it will feel like nothing. But in saying that yes most people pick them up on P's and then swap to a turbo when they can. However After driving the N/A around and swapping to a GTR the petrol money makes your balls hurt.
  17. It's a GTR. They are cursed. All g wipers are cheap just pissed because it was a decent condition windshield. BTW run in stage is finished and im picking it up on friday with tune/boost controller and injectors in it. Should be fun.
  18. Thanks richard. When i get time ill pull it all apart and have a look at them. I reckon the pads are farrked knowing my luck. Everything has to wait a few months until i have money again though lol. p.s. One of my fkn wipers hopped off the rail and scratched the shiet out of my windscreen. SIGH. Got new blades yesterday lol
  19. mannnn if i had cash id take those seats off you... but im soooo broke atm....
