  1. The car is back on the market and on carsales also... HEAVILY reduced as I ordered another car....Revised details as follows: I bought this car stock & pimped it from July 2009 to Nov 2009 - so most things are in as-new condition. However, due to BIG drop in price, this is what you are buying with the car only: *Factory Nismo bodykit. *8 Speed CVT, F1-Style paddles. *Iridium IX sparks. *Aftermarket 7" double DIN touchscreen head unit(DVD, Ipod, Bluetooth, SatNav iGO v8, reverse cam, etc) & DIN dash conversion kit. *BOSE speakers & amp. *Recently installed genuine alternator and A/C belts & oil changed with Mobil 1 Full Synthetic Oil. *Just changed CVT transmission oils at $1300 - no joke! *Aftermarket next generation reverse sensors with LED monitor on dash. *Mongoose alarm with 2 key remotes. *Factory HID headlights. *17" factory alloys with approx 70% tread left. *Almost new slotted disc rotors & EBC Greenstuff brake pads. *Factory rear wiper option. *GT-8 (Red) suspension. *RAZO polished aluminium auto gear knob. *2 x original keys, plus spare valet parking key. *2 x SONY 6.3" monitors at rear passenger seats. *Voltage grounding kit. Chasing ***$15,500*** FIRM. No RWC, Currently VIC registered, but no Rego provided with sale. If you want RWC & Current Rego (exipres Jun 2011) - add $700. Always run on 98 RON premium fuel, does approx 11.6L/100kms. The CVT oil has been replaced (even though I didn't need to replace it at $1300). If you are searching for a GT-8 sedan, don't bother with a dealer as you'll end up spending the $1300 sooner or later changing it! Why buy from dealer when you can buy from me? The following parts are up for grabs when I sell the car: *All internal lights converted to white light SMDs *Cold Air Induction with K&N pod filter *Bonnet Gas Struts *Clear fender indicators *STILLEN sway bars (front & rear) *STILLEN strut brace *STILLEN Catback stainless steel exhaust (twin pipe) *Nismo-type front grille *WALD Streifen Japanese VIP 19x8.5 rims +38 offset & Nankang tyres (90% tread). You will need to replace 1 tyre *2005 WRX spoiler with LED brake light (not installed) No test pilots, test drives, tyre kickers & dreamers. Call for more details, don't SMS! I have gone to Canberra for work & can bring this up for those who are in Canberra!
  2. Hate to break the news....but Chris is right (as always)...toss it out...no use....don't bother... You could maybe sell it back to a Japanese via Yahoo Auctions...LOL...but apart from that, it doesn't even qualify for a door stop...
  3. Mate, Let me tell you a secret. Dun even worry about them being able to be hooked up to our V35s, the fact is that these cams are crap.... The 1st one I bought...after parking the V35 in the sun, the front glass piece fell off...and after a while, the black anodised layer faded away....then finally, the humidity that built up during cold mornings killed it... I then bought a 2nd one (different brand) with a revised cam housing so that the glass would not fall off..guess what? it died in 2 days...i suspect that everytime i went to change gears, it had to pass REVERSE, which then turned the cam on, and may have shorted out a resistor or something.. Verdict? I won't bother if I was you....
  4. justcar for me....didn't go up.....except, i added a few mods which increased car value, so it brought the premium a little... from memory, cpst me $1200-ish...i'm 33, rating 1, west suburbs of melb.
  5. ask rianto what he did...he got his belts changed at the dealer and they squeeled next day. he took it back and they adjusted the tension of the belts i think... mine squeeled and were deteriorated so i got mine changed and the problem went away. so it really depends on how well of a job they did in changing your belts.
  6. Where are you getting CVT oil for a GT8 for $250/4 litres? I don't believe it is this cheap, are you sure it is the right oil? I just changed mine and it costed $150/L plus labour...But obviously at a Dealership. Also, in terms of shipping, just double-check whether you are allowed to ship petroleum/synth-based fluids. If everything comes through ok, I will be very happy to know that CVT oil can be sourced so cheaply for our V35s...
  7. time for another meet boyz????? if so, it better be b4 1st July 2010...as I am relocating to Canberra baby...
  8. It must be the nervousness in the economy.....No takers at all?
  9. i remember searching high and low to get these when I 1st got my V35 and paid top dollar....can't believe no one wants to snatch these....
  10. bloody hell....i sold mine for really cheap then! oh well...no use crying over spilt milk....
  11. ok..so I am not the only sucker to pay for the 5 yr warranty? LOL.....it costed me $600.... Anyway, read the fine print of the warranty..they cover for up to something like $3k for repairs (from memory)... if I had the option to pick again, I would have kept the $600 in my warm pocket... so, in short, I dun think the warranty gets voided if you do things yourself, as long it's not a modification perhaps? check your Terms & Conditions on the warranty...
  12. just had a look at your carsales ad, ok, maybe not $14k.....(just in case you get offended)....but you know what I mean when i refer to crappy prices on trade-ins for imports....
  13. too bad u r in SA....in VIC, it definitely has to be City Nissan hands down...I've taken my car there twice, and twice I have found the pricing very 'down to earth'..... I got my belts done for the same price as I would have at Ultra Tune... My service was comparable to Midas and Ultra Tune... They charged me peanuts to change my CVT oil... I just don't bother doing mechanical/sevicing things myself anymore these days; unless I really need to....
  14. imports fetch crappy prices when u trade in at dealer for a new car....i am guessing that they offered you no more than $14k, if that? the 2nd hand car market is quite bad these days....back in the days of r33s, 180sx, silvias, etc....many would drool and offer good prices CASH! those ppl are virtually non-existent these days...and this is where bank finance will hit hard....you'll find it very difficult to get an auto loan for an import these days... in short, stick to the v35 and drive it to the ground OR until they reach the $10k affordable bracket with buyers... a good aussie economy you say? i can't see it...my Mrs has been out of work for a year now...
  15. Millos, hate to break the bad news to you mate, but the economy is terrible (despite what some believe) and you are gonna have a hard time finding a buyer at the above $30k. Reasons: 1. Bank finance on imports is much harder, unless you cough up like 50% of purchase price or have another security on the loan (I am sure some in the forum would be able to clarify this in a lot more detail) 2. New car dealers will offer you a stupid price on a trade-in (It happened to me recently when I wanted to buy a new Accord Euro) 3. Your main buyer demographic are 'young' peeps = 'not as rich' and need to save up a long time to cough up the cash upfront... If you are keen to sell, you'd probably want to reduce the price by 20 - 30%....Shoot me if you want, my friend - sometimes the truth hurts bro... This is why I stopped selling mine and plan on running it to the ground, or until most V35s drop to the $10k mark - in which many 'teens' can the 'afford' a v35...
  16. Went to City Nissan today to change it...........Gosh, drives like a new car....so much for buying an Accord Euro! The V35 is much better; despite being an 02 model.... Costed me $1300 with a 'free' carwash.....happy-as... Pls note, what I was charge may differ from what you will be charged...pls check with City Nissan if you intend to change your CVT oil...
  17. "sporty".....firm....check my review on my 1st posting....
  18. Car removed from sale as I will be changing the CVT oil tomorrow. Apart from the WALD rims and 350z suspension, everything else is now not for sale... Moderators - pls lock thread.
  19. Pls do your own research...My post is a 'for sale' posting... As far as I know, 350z suspension is direct bolt on for V35 sedans and coupes...
  20. For sale: 4 x 19" High End WALD STREIFEN rims for sale (Get that VIP look!). Width is 8.5" with +38 offset and fits the sedan well. Together with a set of 350z suspension + sway bars, you will have a very good V35 sedan that attacks corners well. The rims have many gutter scrapes and the clear coat near the wheel nut area has seen better days. All of these were not done by me as I bought the rims like this. Apart from the visual blemishes, the rims have no cracks, no buckles and have been structurally sound. 3 x Nankangs fitted with at least 90% - 95% tread.1 Nankang requires replacement as the tyre wall is damaged. I can get this replaced for around $265 fitted if you need assistance. The rims were bought 2nd hand in Oct 2009 and have done less than 7,000kms with the tyres. The whole lot is going for $1,000 and need a clean as they were removed today. Come take it off my hands. Pickup only in Melb. Note: If you are looking for showroom rims, go buy new ones as these are not for you.... Pics of rims here: More pics here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Fs...82#entry5277582 PM me, or email me siu_loong_bao @ hotmail.com or call 0403 347 739.
  21. Parting out rims, suspension.... Stillen Sway Bars and Stillen Strut Brace may be offered for sale. Any takers? Stillen exhaust also for sale if right price offered...
  22. Hi Dudes, I bought these 2nd hand in Aug 2009 from a Sydney Performance Business. They were claimed to be off a 2004/05 350z and done less than 30,000kms. My odometer was reading approx 55,000kms then and reads under 61,000kms now... Based on the above, the stock shocks and springs have done less than 40,000kms. As they were removed from my GT-8 sedan today, they will need a clean and they have no leaks and in very good condtion. I am asking $350 for 4 x springs and 4 x shocks pickup in Melb. I won't send interstate unless you arrange for the courier. This is the 'best bang for your buck' and will lower your V35 sedan by approx 1". Have a look as my review post here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Re...en-t282805.html Pls PM me here, email me siu_loong_bao @ hotmail.com or call me 0403 347 739. Don't SMS me pls.
  23. Ok...Fire Sale....Only for Skyline Australia members $19k as-is............no 'ifs', no 'buts'.....take it off my hands before I change my mind and keep it...comes with 12 months VIC rego. I re-iterate, NO ISSUES with the car....everything works, everything runs...I need to get rid of this so that I can take advantage of the Honda End Of Financial Year Sale to get my Accord Euro. The front tyre of the 19" WALD blew today and needs to be replaced. Should cost around $265 for a new Nankang. Will run it on stock 17" rims now... You won't find a better deal than this, if so, let me know! If I don't get any bites by 12th June, car will be pulled from sale and I'll be keeping it...
