  1. Ok dudes... My car is for sale as I am considering buying a new Accord Euro or V36 sedan....hence, my V35 has to go... I am a honest person and will tell you what i think some of the minor issues are: 1. Drivers seat side bolster torn a bit on the side. Not visible unless u do close up check. All other leather is fine 2. Some door seal trims scuffed 3. Some door trims scuffed 4. Some paint scratches, nothing major 5. 1 very small pin dent on door 6. Some panels were given a respray to fix blemishes when I bought it 7. heaps of minor gutter rash on WALD rims (not done by me). If you are fussy, you can get them fixed, etc... 8. Reverse cam will need a new coat of paint around shroud trim. I will get this fixed. Reverse cam glass fell off, but cam works. Happy to pay $30 to buy another one for new owner. 9. All electronics, aircon, seat buttons work. No faults! 10. Always run on 98 RON premium fuel, does approx 11.6L/100kms 11. No expense spared. If something required replacement, I have replaced 12. Bought from CARIZMA Richmond in June 2009 Considering what you are getting, it is a fair price (I would say cheap price) and it factors in the need to change the CVT oil before the 80,000km mark. Search me on this forum with respect to the work I have done on the car. No test pilots, test drives, tyre kickers and dreamers....Happy to drive you around the block in your initial inspection. Only when you say you will buy it, I will give you test drive. Don't make stupid comments to this post please. PM or email me siu_loong_bao @ hotmail.com or call 0403 347 739 for further info. Pics: (note: reverse cam is a different one that sits flush with panel)
  2. dun be too excited..... u sounded like me when i just changed mine to 350z shocks and springs...excited with the possibility that it was an aftermarket or oem hi-spec option due to the red paint.... reality is, they r just the stock standard shocks....mine r sitting in my room collecting dust at the moment... do u have a factory nismo bodykit as well? cos my GT8 has the full nismo bodykit....Maybe these red shocks came with the oem nismo upgrade option???? having said that, the red shocks r too soft to be performance shocks...
  3. any other takers? can't be that hard, or are GT8 owners a rare species these days?????
  4. I'd suggest City Nissan (Melb) as this is where I asked for the CVT oil. I don't think it will cost too much for labour. Rianto also takes his V35 there for service and they are a very "honest" service centre... Any takers?
  5. oops, that price excludes GST...so around $220-ish...
  6. No, parts + labour = under $200 And this is a Dealership price! You would probably be quite 'silly' to do it anywhere else....
  7. To keep it simple, if you need your belts changed, and you are in Melb: 1. Call Chris at City Nissan and ask for the belts to be changed 03 8383 8822 I did my belts today and got spare change from $200....I was shocked by how 'cheap' the job was...I was think more like $280 or something... Why go for aftermarket when you can go for OEM? I feel so much easier now, after having replaced the belts...
  8. oil is about $1200 for a full system flush and replacement.... I suggest replacing it at around 60,000kms. Please note that Murano's and Maxima's with CVT oils are not much cheaper than that either. CVTs are great trannies when they work, so preventative maintenance and lifting off the accelerator b4 you change up/down gears will preserve the gearbox.... The reason why CVT has had a bad name is becos when the 1st V35 Skylines arrived, especially to NZ, the Nissan Dealers there put in Maxima/Murano CVT oil....It's like putting water in the petrol tank = disaster! Furthermore, workshops diodn't understand how the CVT gearbox works.... Anyway, despite the myth of V35 CVT oils being hard to source, here is my link regarding this: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ca...vt-t318586.html Hope it helps....And, by the way, with my CVT, I am getting constant averages of about 11L / 100 kms....Awesome!

  10. To keep a long story short, City Nissan (Melb) is able to source CVT Oil for our V35 CVT transmissions, being KLE51-00004. However, they need to buy a minimum of 6 x 4L cans - which equates to 3 cars. The discounted price is $595 per can (and you'll need 2 cans to fully flush the tranny and replace the CVT oil). Any takers? I just need 2 more V35 owners.... I want to move quickly on this as I've done 60,000kms on my V35. And, by the way, I also got my belts done for cheap from City Nissan too....So I would strongly suggest you do so (if not already done). Please PM or SMS me 0403 347 739, we can then arrange for all 3 cars to be done, or all 3 of us to go order the oil. Cheers, Nelson.
  11. I took my car in for a service today and asked about CVT oil whilst I was there. They only stock Murano & maxima CVT oil with code KLE52-xxxxx. However, after chatting further, I said I had the exact Nissan code, being KLE-51-00004. The Counter Guy was so impressed that he made the extra effort to search for me, and BINGO!!!! I got quoted $595 for each 4L can (he gave me a discount from the $650 retail price). The only problem is that the Dealership won't bring it in for me as it comes in 6 x 4 L can packs (and each CVT tranny flush uses about 8L or so). Hence, anybody wanting to get the oil too? I only need 2 more V35 owners and we can all go get our trannies flushed.... I might post a new thread to kick-start this...
  12. Almost makes me wanna get the stanley knife out and do it!!!! I always wanted to matt black my car(s)....In fact, I was in the process of rolling on matt paint to my mx5 in colorbond "woodland grey"....kinda ran out of time when I got a job offer the 2nd day I bought all the paint....LOL..
  13. I paid (from memory) $1300 USD for my stillen exhaust, plus another $800USD shipped, then customs clearance + delivery to my place was $400-ish AUD....So yeah, it's quite painful to the pocket, but well worth it....
  14. Yup, I've done it again...bringing all you V35 owners another 'tight-ass' fuel voucher at 10c/Litre on Sunday 18/4/10.....LOL On top of this discount, if you have a 4c off voucher, you can also use it. Better still, spend $4 (or so) in store and get an additional 2c off...Total maximum discount is 16c/Litre.... Enjoy... Note: Use it at your own risk.... http://www.colesexpress.com/special-offers...ll-v-power.aspx
  15. Thought I share da luv... http://www.colesexpress.com.au/special-off...ll-v-power.aspx Enjoy.... While u r there, might as well pick u 2 pies for $3 too!!! http://www.colesexpress.com.au/special-off...for-3-pies.aspx
  16. sold to tienscissors.... will post out next week. moderators - pls lock thread...
  17. on hold until after Easter... awaiting teinscissors for payment... if no payment received, it will be available....
  18. just make sure that the vortech kit is complete and made for your engine spec (S1 or s2)... When I was in Dubai, I almost bought my friend's kit and did list it for sale on this forum with no bites. I eventually gave up on buying it off my friend as I didn't know of any workshop that could do the install and obtain relevant approval...spewing now, should have done it! good luck with ur supercharging fun....
  19. i am gonna run mine to the ground b4 i consider selling it...hence all my mods...lol
  20. ask rianto (rs73) as he has done many group buys on this forum...he got me brand new ventilated rotors and brake pads...cheap too..
  21. try the 2003 - 2006 Subaru Impreza low profile spoiler...really suits the sedan...I already bought one but no chance to spray and install onto my sedan....
  22. Japav, Do what I did....Just wipe it all clean and shove a towel to soak up the excess in the sparkplug well...then screw the new spark in....i did mine 3,000kms ago and no issues - plus, I got better fuel economy with the new sparks. I honestly would have had the leak fixed, but since my old man said it was fine, then I wasn't as worried... And, by the way, the leak is 'always' found on the cylinder closest to the driver...the rest are fine.
