  1. rysith, as posted, whole lot $450... not willing to break it up...
  2. u r chasing something similar to mine? http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll87/si...o/aDSC_1401.jpg http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll87/si...o/bDSC_1413.jpg http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll87/si...o/bDSC_1415.jpg http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll87/si...o/bDSC_1422.jpg If so, and if you got the $$$ and time, try asking your local car importer as I am sure they can source your the full 2nd hand OEM set from Japan ex-wreckers. As to bodykits for sedans in Australia; they r as rare as hen's teeth (I, at one stage, wanted to dress up my car but decided that the factory nismo kit was good enough)...
  3. what mod is required to make it fit in the sedan? what exactly is included - just the radiator and cap?
  4. For sale.. $130 pickup, no broken clips, all plastic chrome in very good condition, 8.5/10 for condition... (Nismo - You have first bite at this)...
  5. Ok, I just want to get rid of the whole lot (now that I have installed my aftermarket reverse cam and hooked it up to my new double DIN).... Bose unit with 6 CD Stacker, Panasonic HDD Unit, Panasonic Monitor, OEM Stacker, OEM Centre Console Fascia with Climate Control Module plus all miscellaneous items...$450 pickup as-is, no "this", no "that", no "ifs", no "buts". OEM Clarion reverse cam with Clarion reverse cam module....$200 pickup as-is, no "this", no "that", no "ifs", no "buts". The whole lot for $550... Those that made offers prior with "ifs" and "buts", now is the time ti snap it up without the restrictions...The 1st one that can show me the money will buy it...
  6. Ok.... I have a V35 sedan in which I replaced the "stock" suspension with 350z Track suspension to lower it 1". I have driven it for a few months now and my Mrs keeps complaining that it was a better ride b4.... Seeing as my original V35 suspension can't be refitted (one front shock is leaking) and they looked like NISMO shocks (dark red colour), I am in the market to buy some coilovers.... My question is: 1. Can a coil over setup be adjusted to match stock ride comfort and also be lowered by that 1" I want? 2. Someone explain to me what the damper setting is and what the spring rate is? I really wanted a the TEIN EDFC setup, but seeing as it's $4K+ easy...I will opt for a cheapy manual setup, say under $1k being advertised on ebay... Valuable advice would be hugely appreciated... Once the 'issue' is fixed, my current 350z suspension will be up for sale..
  7. Shouldn't be too hard...takes trial and error, a volt meter, and a fused bulb screwdriver....u can normally pick out the wire pairs for the respective speakers also. Normally, the thickest wire is the Constant +ve. Anyway, if you can't do it yourself, go get it professionally done....
  8. Is that an endorsement for my quality of work? LOL...
  9. Sorry scorp (Sam) and MILLOS (Juan)...I got carried away with installing Juan's SMDs that I didn't take any photos of your cars.... Was a bit disappointed with the turnout... MissV35 - you've lost my respect for u!!! Quote of the day was from Japav - "The petrol station attendant asked me if my car was the new Maxima"...LOL Dare of the day was from scorp - "I'd pay $1,000 to whoever can 'steal' me pw350gt's VOLK rims"...LOL Most remembered person of the day was BenzLe (Benny). Although he didn't turn up this time, we were still talking about his swapped interior...LOL Anyway..here they are: pw350gt (Yun): rs73 (Rianto): Japav (Vincent): Mine: I didn't join the cruise and couldn't stop admiring my clean car at home:
  10. Did u reconnect the AFM? or did u start the car without the AFM connected and then reconnected it? It happened to me...but after a few hundred kms, it went away...Suggest resetting your ECU for a quik resolution...
  11. thanks for the support guys.... for a minute there, i thought i was gonna be the only one pushing sh*t uphill....LOL kidding, kidding....I chose a sedan becos I needed the convenience of 4 doors, kinda grown outta the 2 door coupe market segment...signs of age, i guess....but then again, if i could buy an M3, that changes everything...hehe
  12. althought i am yet to get antennae for my new double din, i find watching Two & A Half Men (more listening than watching to be honest) while driving kills the peak hour boredom and also puts a smile on my face.... Mine is all wired up to be fully functional while driving (except tv doesnt work due to no antennae)....I may post a pic of the double din when i get a chance...most of u who come to the 5/12/09 Melb cruise will see it also...Still got a pooh-load of things to do to the car in terms of adding more mods to it, but have no time to even wash my V35 lately...
  13. now now....don't hang crap on us sedan owners.... depending on how u wanna pimp ur ride, sedans make better VIP cruisers.... plus, not everyone can afford a coupe...although i have spent the equivalent amount in mods on my sedan to get me my VIP look... but then again, give me another go at buying a V35, and I'll still be opting for a sedan....LOL...
  14. I am due for some myself..same prob with the cracks...the Burson sales person told me to take mine off, then take it to the Burson store and he'll find me the 'right' replacement ones...when i get them done, i'll post up an aftermarket part brand/number...
  15. lol.... i have finally spotted another V35 sedan, in the same navy blue colour as mine today!!!!! he had the 'poor man's' version though...no camera, no nismo bodykit, and was running 16" rims...didn't look like a premium version also...but then again, i could be wrong as i roared past him on my way home from Kingsway onto the M1 freeway ramp...looks like he had his gf/wife with him and was on his way into the city.... mind u, he was asian like me....lol...
  16. This device is like the "SPORT" mode button on my ex-Porsche...A big difference in response...With my Porsche Cayman S Sport, the SPORT Mode would stiffen the active suspension, increase throttle response and open a butterlfly valve in the exhaust for a 'more throaty' sound...And the whole experience was like driving a 'different' car.... Getting back to this device, I personally would not fork out the $465-ish to buy it... On another note, I did a search and 'think' this device would do a similar thing (and control a whole heap of other stuff) for $25/$75...Obviously, I am no electronic techie, but worth someone trialling it for the benefit of all of us... MAYBE I AM COMPLETELY WRONG with this device: http://autospeed.com/cms/A_2115/article.html I also believe an electronic techie out there can make one for a fraction of the price of the SPRINT BOOSTER (unless it is patented). As usual, my 2 cents worth...
  17. Strangely enough, the best ones are not from Shanghai - the origin of siu loong baos..... but in Taipei (Taiwan)...the place is part of a chain restaurant specialising in siu loong baos throughout Asia with stores in Singapore, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong...Even more stranger is that, although they all trade under the same banner name DING TAI FUNG, the original 1st store opened in Taipei is the absolute best with such good service.... And, in the event that one gets served to you broken withe the soup leaking, it gets replaced...Now that's customer service!!! As to Melb, I am sorry to say, but the ones you are eating are nowhere as near what a siu loong bao should be... A successful siu loong bao must comply with the following: 1. steamed fresh and served within 2 minutes....the longer it is left after being steamed, the more the skin dries out.... 2. must be made of FRESH ingredients, especially with fresh crab meat....to give that fresh, sweet, non-MSG flavour 3. Steamed under a silken cloth, not under a cabbage leaf or wombok leaf... 4. when picked up with chopsticksticks from the bamboo steamer, the skin must be almost see-through in colour (meaning very thin layer of skin), yet does not break whilst being picked up, and has a bouncy/chewy texture.... 5. Must contain a high quality broth inside...and to burn your mouth like an exploding bomb when you eat it...LOL 6. Must be served with a high quality red vinegar and finely grated ginger.... Anyway, back to the meet....any other takers????? Come on...join in...MILLOS really wants your business at the car wash...LOL...
  18. mine was around $1100 from Just Cars..mature 32 yr old....
  19. hmm...tempting....but i think i would be laughed at if i rocked up in a V35 sedan....lol... any takers? i'll only consider going if there is 'critical mass' of V35s of say 4...
  20. $35 - $37k really? I was thinking more along the lines of $28k tops without the rims....But then again, everything has to be taken into consideration and needs to be seen to be evaluated.
  21. i am dis-heartened, no one has managed to spot me.....ai... some of you must work in st kilda rd???? gosh, i pass it every day...
  22. damn, and i was about to drag the chair out and put some popcorn in a bowl to watch....
  23. i think benny boy is really not coming becos of all the sh*t we gave him about his interior....lol congrats on the baby...seems like heaps of people are due for a baby (or have had a baby this year).....or is it just becos most people that i know are getting old??? lol.....
