  15. yeah i agree im a panel beater and many people ask how they can fix it polishing it is just quick fix you will find it will come back and some times worse it comes from the protective layer on the plastic wears away and sanding it will only take more layers away and as for the water on the inside of the head light well you may have a small leak in the headlight do as notapulsar said and dry the headlight out and look and see if you can find a leak
  16. Hey so the story is a good friend of mine has a c33 laurel very cool car and very rare and cutting a long story short after a bad crash at a track day front right wheel smashed of and destroyed everything in its way and as i am a panel beater i thought i better help him out knowing how much he loves this car after alot and i mean alot of work finally talked him in to replacing the right hand fender apron where the top of the guard bolts in as he had another shell so would be better and easyer just to replace rather then repair and he wanted to cut his inner guards out to run more lock doing all that was not that bad and have just been looking for ways to know brace the front end and was wondring if any one had any ideas or if anyone has done it pics would be great
  17. yeah alright cheers guys yeah was looking at a juran brace http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/110938918712?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_3009wt_1057 looks like is quiet flat so any one got pics of these sort fitted?
  18. hey i was trying to look for some answers to fitting a front strut bar im looking fitting one but i have a turbo that sits near the right hand tower (its a r32 gts4) was seeing if people have problems with this and if there is special braces people use to over come this??
  19. hey ive got a few questions about my bov fitted to my rb20det its a blitz bov and has been on the car since ive had it and since ive fitted the new turbo a midmount t03/t04 its had a lot of flutter and i cant really hear the bov and not sure if this is normal and ive taken the bov off to see if the piston inside is still moving and seems fine and not sure how to adjust it or if i can even do that anyone have any suggestions or why its doing it??
  20. yeah no real clue then i was going to try to avoid taking it to some one and try save some money but o well haha thanks anyway
  21. ok so update on the hole thing spent the hole weekend on it turbo manifold everything off and found the manifold bolt i had to fix the stud come out nice and easy looked like the stud was still brand new i looked in the hole with a mirror and light and seen where they put the helicoil in and could not see any bad holes but there was oil around and inside the hole i cleaned everything down with breakclean and mixed up my sealer (jb weld) and put a good amount on the thread of the stud and could see the end of the hole in the head was long way from where the stud finished i felt confident there would be none that would get in to the hole i put the stud back in with the sealer and left it for 24hr to dry then refit the manifold and dumpipe and turbo and my hart stoped when i went to start it and see if it leaks started fine and no leaks at idel but the big test was driving it drove it for about 30mins got back and not one leak the motor and manifold was bone dry could not be happier and have been driving it every day for the last the 2 weeks and not a drop of oil and only cost me $18.95 and a weekend of my time :) thanks every one for there help
  22. Yes I've had the hole motor cleaned up on hoist and ran watched the oil slowly leak from the bolt and had the rocker covers checked by workshop and is dry as it is coming from that bolt for sure and yes very very poor work as it was done by a well knows an very expensive workshop.. So you thinking take the stud out put thread lock or sealer around the bolt and put back in?
