  1. Me and my mrs want to move to Brisbane next year, and Infiniti in Brisbane are taking applicants as of end of this year.. Might end up working for them when i head down there. That would be awesome!
  2. Also, DAMN that sounds good, even without the ART pipes. This is definitely on my To Do list..
  3. Please do I kind of like the gargle, the system is definitely one of the best for the VQ IMO. That price is expected, shipping absolutely kills us!
  4. I hate Mondays.. lucky this week will go quick. Me and my mrs are going away to airlie beach so i have a couple days off + the weekend I sell used cars.
  5. I finish work at midday Saturday, by the time i'm out of here and done what i need to do in town the day is nearly over, and Sunday goes WAY too quick..
  6. Saw this the other day, that is damn impressive
  7. I went out there with a mate on Saturday, got there at 5 when races were meant to start. Was a decent crowd there at first then it grew getting later into the night. There was probably 15-20 cars that were actually racing, got bored of seeing the same commy's after a few hours and left at 7. Loved seeing a 10 second plymouth and a 9 sec torana carve up the field though.
  8. Awesome! So you just got the MD TDX V2 without the ART pipes? I am yet to hear how it sounds without the test pipes, meant to be insane with them! Please do, post how much it cost you delivered i'm in QLD too so it should be similar
  9. I have 18's... on the car.
  10. Bahaha, this made my day
  11. Ben i would love to see you troll down to the harbour on a Thursday night, so many people be droolin'
  12. Word of mouth is a killer in this town.. this has been an interesting read though.
  13. Wow, i am impressed with the improvement this is going to have on the standard REVS check. I use REVS on nearly a daily basis being in the car industry, it only tells you if the vehicle is written off or encumbered (money owed) then i do a PPSR which matches the VIN number to the actual description of the vehicle. But it doesn't cost me a cent to do checks which is a bonus This VEDA seems to have a lot more information, looks good!
  14. 350z may be the same? Considering there is a lot of similarity between the 2 cars.
  15. In regards to the airbag light problem, if these are anything like the Toyota Hiluxes then it's just a small spring behind the dash that needs replacing it's a $20 job and a little bit fiddly if you don't know what you're doing. I just know that it's a common problem with Hiluxes so i'm not really sure if that's helped.. The mechanic you spoke to on the phone might not want to work on the car, you will get that a lot with these vehicles lol.
  16. I'm also in the same boat. Last night for instance, i turned the car off at nearly exactly half a tank then turned it back on this morning and had 1/4 left lol.
  17. Very true, i personally would rather buy a stock car as i have because i know that something hasn't fuc*ked around with anything and done a dodgy job installing something. Peace of mind.
  18. If you guys are on FaceBook, request to be added on "V35 Coupe Drivers" group, it's run by American's with G35's but there is A LOT of knowledge to be gained by these guys, you can post questions and pics and get an accurate response most of the time, just like this group. @Trav i did see guys on that group talking about the reversing LED lights would be an idea to join and ask about it.
  19. My mistake didn't read the OP's query about aero package.
  20. Love the Audi's, do like the body of the A4 sedans and seen them done up beautifly. How many KM's are on the car? Considering the mods, that's not a ridiculous price as they go for 20k stock with reasonably low KM's. (70ish)
  21. Big community down there, you will be fine.
  22. Firstly, congrats on your purchase of a beautiful vehicle Where abouts in QLD are you located? Yeah err fo is the death error, may as well rip it out and throw a double din screen in there. Welcome to the forums too.
  23. Bought my 2003 V35 350GT Coupe 7 months ago with 70,000km on the clock for exactly $21,000 bone stock. I was silly and did not look around enough for a better deal on a V35. I should have known better, i sell cars for a living, Only problems it had, worn comp rod bushing, drivers side window motor on it's way out, slight grind into 5th gear.. All have been fixed up and a few more mods added, apart from that slight grinding into 5th.. need it sorted though. Whoever said a few pages back that cars on car yards are sold for around $5k+ profit is accurate, most of the vehicles i get in my yard are brought into stock 5-10k more than what it owes depending on the vehicle of course. As for trade-in's. you will ALWAYS LOSE MONEY if you trade in your car rather than selling it privately. We have to be able to sell the car, therefore it must have profit. Plus if there's things that need doing to the car before it can be sold in order to avoid a stat warranty nightmare, then you will lose even more money as it will come out of our pocket.
  24. I drove from Sydney to Mackay (roughly 2000km) in 2 days in a shitty old VR commodore 2 years ago. I didn't have a licence at the time as it was suspended BUT i had NO IDEA as i moved residency and didn't get any letters saying that i had no licence. Car was in a very bad shape too, can't beleive i made it without a licence in a shitbox old car. But back on topic, that's some useful info for anyone else that decides to purchase a car interstate.
  25. Sad seeing people selling V's How much are you putting on it?
