  1. The connector plug will be different pins, correct me if im wrong but 4pin for S1 headlights and 3pin plug for S2? or the opposite. I haven't tried myself but better off to get the same series than splicing into wires. I've asked around before about this and not much came up
  2. Hey everyone looking for these parts, have already scouted ebay, gumtree. 8. No spacers, the rear wheel stubs were due for replacement as 2 were shorter than the rest, the rears didnt give enough time for warnings and right side flew off then the pressure snapped the left side. Removed most of the broken bits, Only damaged bits appear to be radiator support frames which can be unbolted and replaced/ welded on.
  9. From observation both under and above, the main rails seem to be straight, it's just the right side fender/guard that appears to be bent( I'll remove parts tomorrow to have a clearer view) , I have been told that if its just the radiator support frame, I could find a spare frame and get a panel beater to do some welding and picking.
  10. Not sure if the right section but Backstory rear wheel stubs were due for a change, going home from city one night and rears fly off.. Nuts were stripped and car collided into a sign. No casualties other than the car itself, no insurance either What can i do at this point? My options etc? First time this has ever happened. attached are pics. Damage to the radiator support frame with both lights smashed, rhs fender/gaurd bent. Bonnet bent into radiator area. rear bumper cracked, rear wheel hubs looks okay.. the way it supposed to go around the brake disc is bent. Getting someone to come have a proper look and give a quote tmw. I'm bummed out enough, so please unless its contributing don't reply with a smart ass comment.

  12. Hi Sau, I'm looking to buy a set of door locks for the r34 2door coupe. Boot lock too if possible. Someone stabbed the drivers door side and central lock hasn't been fixed yet.. No need for the ignition barrel. -Sam
  13. Okay i'll snap them hopefully over the weekend. Thanks Simon!
  14. Haha i'm going to love it here
  15. Thanks for replying Simon, can you elaborate some more about the silvia speedo sender? r32 box, trying to get the speed into the cluster. As the 3rd owner of the car, im not sure myself about why theres a 32 box in it. I'll decide how to go about it after i bring it into the mech again.
  16. The mechanic said it was an r32 box, that's why there was no speed sensor plug hole. I'm not really sure about the transmission, not my area of expertise but the mech said the r34 had gone through a pull to push conversion. Is there any benefits of the push compared to a pull? My main concern is the speedometer and getting a speed indication. I've also called up a transmission place from the forum contacts and the guy said there was a possibility of converting the r32 box into electrical.. Again i'm in need of some opinions. Thanks for reading.
  17. Hi sau, i've run into a problem with the speedometer not moving and have pin pointed it out to be an implanted r32 manual box in an r34 manual. The mechanic i brought the car into told me that the speed sensor plug could not be found on my transmission as it was a r32 box. Now the question im asking is to fix the speedometer is there any other cost effective ways to convert the r32 box to the r34 electrical unit? Or is the only way to find an r34 manual box with pull type clutch and also find another pull type clutch as the r32 clutch is push. I've tried using gps apps and gps units to get an active speed but no success. I've sourced the parts out but not sure exactly what i'll need if im going to buy an r34 manual box with the clutchs and tailshaft? Thanks in advance
  18. Yes that's why i purchased it I don't have access to my camera just yet, will post it up soon. It's relatively stock if that gives you a good picture.
  19. Hey there SAU, it's a pleasure to join the club. I'm Sam, currently reside in Melbourne and probably the youngest new member here I currently purchased an r34 that turned out to come with a lot more of a surprise than bargained for. I hope the knowledgeable members can help me out once in a while as i'm keen to learn everything about the skyline series. Interests are cruising around with mates and talking about cars.
