  1. Personally, I'm a fan of male drivers. Check out the last one's handywork.
  2. He seems the likely choice since Pizza Boy only beat him twice in the shootout.
  3. Am I the only one who thinks Marky Mark should be done for crimes against Skylines?
  4. Actually it's 4 great cars- I also have a yellow 200B in the garage
  5. Heh heh thanks Still trying to work out though if more paint ended up on the parts or me! My new perfume is eau de turps.
  6. Another good option is Nathan at Grey Imports in Annandale He's about Saturday mornings, and does good work.
  7. Okay, not sure if this counts, but here are some pics of the bits that will *eventually* go in the engine bay!
  8. Ha-ha, that leather smell goes pretty quick when the top is off!
  9. Ha ha- well, after checking out the "fragrance fairies" (i kid you not) on offer at SuperCheap the other day, I'm sold! My vote - I'd be happy to pay for a new car with leather interior smell : ) Not to mention helping a fellow SAU-er get a business going!
  10. To quote Marge in an all time classic Simpsons.... "I'm so BLEEPing embarressed" We have lots of pics, just problems uploading!!!!!
  11. Your parents have GREAT taste - well except for the roof bit
  12. Spotted Fatz- getting up to no good- at 7 Hills
  13. Funnily enough, I've also just been through the same situation. When the poor Zed got hit a few months ago, 3 large chunks got taken out of the wheel. There was some minor, pre-accident scrapes on the edge of the rim, thanks to a moment with a gutter  I offered to contribute a reasonable amount towards the cst of repairing the wheel but the assessor said there was already some damage so they wouldn't fix it at all. After some *heated* and *interesting* discussions with the insurer, they have agreed to pay for the repair. The point we kept making was that the wheel was damaged in the accident and the insurers involved had a responisbility to ensure all damage was fixed and we weren't disadvanataged. If they can't repair your wheels to their pre-accident condition, they need to offer you a complete set of rims to the same value - you can't be left worse off because of the accident. If they're still giving you grief, try http://www.dispute.com.au/htm/youth07022001.html Haven't tried them myself but heard they get results.
  14. Tried to take pics of all SAUers (well Skylines even) - only prob is no zoom zoom lens so not sure how much drifting detail you'll get.
  15. WILMA!!!!!!!! Actually MY engine bay will have lots of nice yellow bits AND an engine in a couple of weeks (well, months if Fatz and beer for work money is involved).
  16. From memory- you can get tyre sized boxes at Aus Post too.
  17. The Zed is out too  Mr Nissan has still not figured out the clunking in the steering (suspect broken bushes but they reckon they know best).
  18. Mines going yellow this week (along with block, plenum, timing belt cover and coil pack cover) - will post up pics when finished. Using high temp engine paint from SuperCheap (get the lot for less baby!!!!). Appreciate any additional tips for stripping original paint

    stupid tidal wave

Looks like we're all doing our bit at least- apparently Australians have donated nearly $1million each day since the start of the disaster. CARE Australia got some cash from us but there are lots of worthy charities collecting. UN is putting together a global pledge of $2.5 billion from 40 countries in the World Bank. Japan is single biggest contributor!
  21. So what lap time do you reckon the Navara will do? Just wait till you see how she hits an apex
  22. I reckon Webber has the driving potential for a podium finish, it'll all come down to the car BMW Williams supply (apparently they are announcing details early Jan after they decide if Heidfeld or Pizzaboy will drive in the second seat). The money is on BMW putting up a competitive, relaible engine this season (important when it needs to last 2 race weekends), but I think they will have better luck in 2006 under the v8/2.4L regs.
  23. Heh heh- I like how you think Roy! Seriously though, it's a pretty good pressie- the jolly fat man got it right this year.
  24. I don't believe you wash your cars Pete- isn't the dirt the only thing holding the panels together?
