  1. Hi Julz, Yep, they're full FIA approved. There isn't a form of tin top racing in the world that you couldn't run these seats in. If you grab 2 of the Pro Head we'll do the mounts for $250 each. We already have free shipping on it, so call it $2078 delivered. RRP is $1450 per seat! The Zeta 3 from memory don't have any sort of head support though do they? Regards, Greg
  2. Hi Julz, I'm a 32/3, and I fit in it snug. We've had a couple of people who are 34 fit it in it no problems also. Regards, Greg
  3. Nup, not always visible. You only need a few thou in thickness difference for it to occur.
  4. That's actually the cause of 99.9% of shudder. It's called DTV (disc thickness variation) and is caused by cheap pads, and/or excessive float in wheel bearings... which leads to the pad material being laid down unevenly. It's VERY VERY rare that rotors actually warp. It simply doesn't happen, even on race cars. Even rally car that get them glowing hot then go through water spashes don't 'warp' rotors. It doesn't happen. It will be DTV. Machining them will fix the problem, but it often doesn't curing the underlying problem. Commodores are really bad for shudder, and it's always excessive float in the bearings, which starts the problem, then the pad material being laid down unevenly on the rotor because it's not rotating square finishes it.... 5. Interesting. These are [virtually] the same pad (QFM make the RB74), yet two very different reports. Take everything with a grain of salt, as this is a perfect example of there being far too many variables to make direct comparisons between pads... I'm also fairly worried that you managed to get the A1RM to fade before Ultimates. There's not really any comparison between the two of them! Either they weren't bedded in properly, or you may have just got a 1 off pad pad. FWIW, latest feedback on the A1RM from abroad: http://www.supraforums.com.au/forum/showpo...mp;postcount=27

  7. Hi mate, A1RM to suit are $179 per axle set front or rear. Rears are on the shelf, fronts are currently on a manufacturing back order, due 5-6 weeks. Got other options available for the front, just let me know what you're using the car for. Regards, Greg
  8. You won't get anything from Supercheap. As the guys have said, we've got pads on the shelf to suit which we got custom made by QFM. If it's just a street car then the pad I'd recommend would be the QFM HPX which is a Bendix Ultimate equivalent, but very low dust and rotor wear. To suit the front of the S2 Stagea is $119 for the set. If you did track work the next pad up, the QFM A1RM (Ferodo DS2500 equivalent) is also available on the shelf, $179 for the set. Any questions at all feel free to give us a bell!

  11. Hi Chris, The Sprint V isn't ADR approved, so for it to be fully legal, it's my understanding, that you need not only a mod plate, but also an engineers report stating why that particular part of the car doesn't have to meet ADR requirement. Reality is an FIA approval on the strength of a seat makes the ADR look silly, bu unfortunately the law doesn't see things that way. I could be wrong, so please do your own research. Regards, Greg
  12. Hi mate, I'll asked the question of Sparco to see if they've got mounts to suit X Trail. Also, at last count I think we've only got 1 (or 2) of the Hurricane's left, and then that's it, Sparco aren't getting any more, so if you're keen on them you may need to move quick on at least the seat, and leave the mounts. You'll always be able to make something with regards to mounts using universal runners and mounts etc. Regards, Greg
  13. Hi Julz, Side mount bases to suit your R34 are $279 per set. All up for 2 mounts, and 2 seats you'd be looking at $2136 delivered. Only available color is black. Regards, Greg
  14. Easy done mate. They look very similar, just smaller. They're still a Sumitomo 4 pot, and found on some early Toyota commercials...
  15. For those who have been asking about weights: Lico Hurricane - 8.4kg Lico Interlagos - 7.2kg Lico Pro Head - 7.5kg Sparco Sprint V - 8.1kg
  16. I've had a few people asking about dimensions: Sparco Evo (Lico Hurricane) Sparco Rev Plus (Lico Interlagos) Sparco Circuit (Lico Pro Head) Sparco Sprint V
  17. Yep, all correct except for the bit about the RX7 4 pot, which is miles smaller than the Sumitomo found on WRX/Skylines, and doesn't use the same pads.
  18. Unless they've done a back flip, last time I spoke to them they'd closed their doors. I also hope not cause I prefer them over Whiteline also...
  19. DMS FTW: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Dm...oc-t301206.html We're also about to have a special where if you purchase any full car set of DMS coilovers (can be 40mm, 50mm, or 3/5/6 way) you get $500 worth of brake products for free. Brakes can be from any of our brands, QFM, Project Mu, RDA, DBA etc. Not any more he wouldn't be!
  20. Ok, due to popular demand on other forums I'll put the other Lico options up! Lico Hurriance $589 per seat including delivery, same as Sparco Evo ($1099) Lico Interlago $589 per seat including delivery, same as Sparco REV ($950) There is though only VERY limited stock of the Hurricane and Interlagos (6 Hurri, 16 Inter), but there's heaps of the Pro Head. For those wanting cheaper we can do the Sparco Sprint V for $489 per seat including delivery, but isn't a full fiberglass tub like the above 3 Sparco/Lico. The Spring V is though still FIA approved... bloody cheap considering!
  21. Hopefully this is of interest to some people! We've just got an email through from Sparco Australia about a limited supply of seats they've brought in under the 'Lico' brand, which are exactly the same seats as the Sparco ones (even have the same FIA approval numbers), but a heap cheaper! The one that's of most interest is the Lico Pro Head: Exactly the same seat as Sparco Circuit that cost $1399 each, the Lico Pro Head we can do for $789 per seat including delivery!!! I'm planning to grab a pair for myself, so get in quick before they run out! Any questions feel free to give us a bell on 1300 884 836. Regards, Greg
  22. What's your budget? Either 50mm or 60mm DMS are as track orientated as you'll get. The 3/5/6 way adjustable 60mm DMS is about $7475 for the full car set.
  23. Hi mate, The smallest kit available for the R32 is a 345mm disc on 4 pistons calipers, and the complete kit is $4149 shipped to you. See here: http://www.project-mu.com.au/en/products/Caliper.html Regards, Greg
  24. Hi Deano, A full set (front and rear) of A1RM to suit non Brembo R32 GTR would be $238 delivered.
