Thanks SG. I'm beginning to think it's oxidized onto the windows, i'll need something with a bit of cutting power.... but i'll give vinegar a go. Might have to get a detailer with an orbital buffer to have a go at it.

Hi guys, Once in a while the factory boost gauge will cut out on the R34. Has anyone seen this before and know what could be causing just that particular gauge to not work? It comes on again after a while though. Cheers Howie -
Hiya guys, I've got baked on window stains all over the rear window... it seems like all my previous imports have had this sorta stuff on their windows.. previously a razor blade and polish was all that was needed to remove it, but this one's a real stubborn bugger. That fan switch, is an exhaust control valve i believe. If the exhaust has been swapped it probably won't work anymore.

I'd have to agree with Stan actually. Focus on getting a nice front stage, then add smaller rears just for fill.

Sweet that's very helpful. Say does anyone know the diameter of the stock (non-nismo) r34 exhaust? and does anyone know if the exhaust control valve can be used on any aftermarket exhaust systems? Reason I ask is, i unfortunately live across the road from the road transport authority where they often set up defect stations ... they've been wanting me badly for a long time now

Thanks for the tip mate. I've let it soak up in wd40 and i'll give it a shot tomorrow morning. Say guys, how's the nismo exhaust in terms of restriction? I'm just trying to sort out priorities for modifications right now and wondering if i'm being bottlenecked substantially by the exhaust and if it's worth me spending another 1k on a turbo back system (or another cat back for that matter).

Mine's sealed shut since i've got it, but i'm wondering does the sport (open) mode make a noticable difference at all? I'm going to try to lube it up and get it working again
