So I posted this in the wrong place so I am reposting here: I was driving and started smelling burning oil, opened the bonnet and there was oil leaking onto the exhaust manifold. Took rocker covers off and the gaskets were certainly leaking and I'm in the process of replacing them. Was wondering if this leak could be caused by something else, any ideas? Motor is rb20 Cheers

After a set of 4 rims and tyres to suit A31 Cefiro, Tyres have to be roadworthy all around and Im only looking for cheapo rims just to get around for the time being. Also looking to get rid of my bodykit so after some stock bumpers and side skirts also. Located in Perth - ph 0420 593 194

Why not just use standard diff off a 33? If your converting hubs etc, chances are you'll find someone selling the whole lot

I am thinking of wrecking my A31 ceffy. It has a turbo rb20 and its auto. The car runs ok but has some leaks here and there and other minor faults. The body is straight and it is registered. I have been trying to sell it for a while but no luck and I need the cash. I'm hoping to get $3500-$5000 for the parts. The car has some mods including after market rims, exhaust, coil overs and K&N pod and other bits. If there is a satisfactory response then I will go ahead and wreck it. Supra over the 34 any day. The 2jz is arguably the best (or one of) import motor. It's bullet proof and if ur going twin turbo then no more needs to be said....

The same noise it would make if people were around. That you didnt hear the noise does not mean the noise wasnt made ahahahahaha

Cheers for the help guys So if the car will not start with no fluid, does this mean that if you have a gradual leak, you drive for a bit would the car turn off when it gets too low?

Would smoke emanate even if the car is stationary but turned on?? cheers

yeah he also said its really loud. thats basically what I wanted to know; whether its a really loud noise or just a whining sort of noise

I know that you'd be an idiot to drive with a smashed and leaking box and that it will be slipping etc etc, my question is simple, if anyone has heard that noise and can describe it to me could you please do so cheers

what if your driving and you have a hole in the box and its leaking and leaking, im sure itll run for a bit, i want to know for that minute or however long it will run what noise it will make. If anyone has had first hand experience with this let me know
