  1. what can i do to get brighter projectors? plus bulbs? headlight rewire/relay? hid kit? switch to the non projector headlights? all I know is that they SUCK
  2. is a 7 bar oil pressure gauge sufficient for a rb20det engine or should i get one that goes to 10bar?
  3. is a 10bar oil pressure gauge over kill? I've found some that are 7 or 8 bar, i'd rather have a gauge that has a wider useable range. also on a rb20 can i just disconnect the factory sender? is it only used for the crappy stock gauge?
  4. thanks, just wanted to know about the outside that goes into the hub. hoping i can just unbolt the 4 bolts and put in the 5 stud unit and put it back together. looks like i can.
  5. ok, what a mission. had constant 12v for relays/siren ign cut starter cut all done on the loom under the steering column. relocated the constant 12v to furhter back in the loom. cut ign in the guard and moved the siren there replaced starter cut with my fuel pump 12v which is located towards the rear of the car. at least i can sleep at night now.
  6. My r32 gts has 3x2 axles. Will they fit into r33 gtst Rear hubs?
  7. What is the usually running voltage. Mine is 13.4. Just want to know if it is too low
  8. where the headlights come in by the radiator i have a white 2 pin plug and a grey 2 pin plug, what are these usually for? fog lights? I'm also after the blower fan plug, but my car has had the a/c removed. does anyone have a pic of what it looks like and where it usually is? I've looked by the pass headlight, in where the i/c usually is and by the horns and can't find any plug. Thanks
  9. good tip. any idea what would happen if i just snipped it at the ecu and grounded it so it always thought it was in neutral?

I've searched and can't find what i'm after. i've done the reverse lights in the eng bay and on that plug there are 3 green wires. on the ecu side, pin 44 (neutral switch) is green/pink. does anyone know which pin/wire it is on the eng bay plug? I'm assuming it is one of the wires on the plug that I have reverse hooked up to. goign to try a continuity test from ecu to that plug tonight, if my DMM leads are long enough. also, on the neutral switch on the gearbox, does it matter which one is +ve and -ve or is it the same as reverse and can go either way.
  11. Thanks, its a dynamco p765 and thinks it has 40a fuses, no biggie as both wires run down the side of the car. i was also thinking of using the detach head unit as a kill switch and cutting fuel pump or something on the ecu side.
  12. just installed a ebc into a r34 gtr and decided to unwrap some of the ignition wiring. the 5 start installed alarm has both relays wired to cuts that are next to each other . the wires werent even shortened, the're just bunched up and taped. installer should be shot.

  14. thanks. i have the relay for my fuel pump in the boot so it would make it fairly easy to hotwire i would think.
  15. hi, what are some good immobilising points to use in a skyline? ign, fuel pump, coils or ignitor?
  16. whenever i shift from 4th to 3rd, it crunches, going from 2nd to 3rd is no where near as bad. any ideas on what is goign to break? i think i might try some heavy weight shock proof in it?
  17. everything in the eng bay to do with the a/c is gone, so i only have 2 pipes poking out the firewall. i think it adjusts the aac to raise the revs when a/c is turned on.
  18. i've taken the a/c out of my r32 and you can only demist the windscreen with a/c on (can't turn it off and it doesn't have foot/demist mode). Does it have any affect on the ecu map if it has no a/c compressor to turn on?
  19. I have a 40mm radiator which has no shroud. The previous owner clipped the blades to get clearance for the thicker radiator I only want to use the existing wiring for relay and fuse. I want to control it with a separate fan controller
  20. I don't have ac on my car any more and want to fit a elec fan and ditch the viscous Has anyone done this and use te existing rad fan 25a fuse and relay. Just need a temp fan controller to wire into it I'm assuming?
  21. My fmic kit doesn't have a vacuum feed like the original r33. What's the best way to put one on or can I take it from some where else
  22. I've just got my hands on a hi flow rb25 that was rated for 1.2/1.3bar apparently on a rb25. I want to put it on my rb20, with the 500cc less displacement, does that mean that I could run more boost to match the cfm it would've put out on the rb25? or have i got my theory wrong?

  24. Survived the builders mix. Wouldn't want to tow any more with it. Need to buy a tow car I think
