    hi i've got a rb20det and as soon as i crank it, it comes up with code 34 knock sensor after you crank It. I've unplugged both and check the connections. They look ok. I've reset a number of times to make sure it clears and reads 55. Then I start it up. Let t run for a few mins. Switch it off and check codes again and get 34 What should I be looking at next

    i will prob go 6.5 splits in the new year. still not sure if i want a sub or not as i don't want to lose any space. i tried to put in my alpine type s coax 6.5 in the door with a 12mm spacer, i got it to clear the window but then i couldn't put the door trim on.' i think when i get splits i'll get a pro to install it.

    hi i've put replacement 4x6 and 6.5 coax into the car. I have a alpine 9833 hu which has t/a. what is the best way to move the sound stage forward without losing bass (which is what happens when I use the fader). can t/a account for speaker sizes or just distance? ideally i'd like to jus trun the 6.5 coax in the rear as woofers for bass, maybe run them off some component crossovers for woofer only?

    does anyone know how you can remove the rubber boot off the shifter, i need it to put on my short shifter.

    sweet, thought they must be different. bc there is no way this thing is bolting straight in. agreed i think gauges int he top are the best, because it is inline that way.

    i've got a gts and want to mount it like a gtr. i've taken it out of the top position but it won't go back enough to use the side holes it has to mount it in the stereo brackets. are gt-r heater controls different? they only way I can see fitting them is to cut the plastic mounts that mount it in the top position (meaning it can never go back) or I cut about 5-8mm out of the stereo brackets.

    my blitz temp gauge stopped working and i pulled the line for the sensor out of the temp sensor and the sensor fell out does anyone know how you are suppose to sold/weld the copper tube back to the sensor?

    where is the best place to cable tie it to get a semi accurate reading of the outside temp.

    hi i've done the reverse lights up by the battery, does anyone know which one is for the neutral switch on the gearbox? i've removed the tcu from the drivers kick panel, just want the idle to drop below 1100 search isn't coming up with much.

    can someone tell me if the rear drums are the same from a gte - gts - gtst? i.e. to convert a gts to 5 stud, do you only need the hub, rotor and caliper/lines?

    i got a spare i/c hose and tb hose, going to try and jus tput the probe directly in it and silicone it up. see if it blows out under boost or not

    I've gone through the 17 page dyno thread and can't find anything definitive. Can te rb20det 270s flow enough to the limit of 14 psi of an r33 turbo? Thabks in advance

    Hi My car has used about 1/2L oil in about 300km of driving (not very hard), it doesn't blow smoke. I've checked the i/c and intake pipes and they are fairly dry. The pcv hose from intake manifold - intake cam cover is soaking wet and slowly dries as it makes it way back to the intake (u pipe between covers isn't too bad). Any thoughts on what to do from here?

    def a worth while upgrade, hauls to redline. even at the stock rb20 10psi w/g it hauls. and when it craps itself you can get it hi flowed. I think you can get away with 14psi with the stock 270's, once you get it hi flowed you want at least ca18det 370 injectors or gtr 440's. also keeps your engine bay looking stock.
