I am now starting to think of other options... Nissan Australia you once again have bitten the hand that feeds you!

  3. +1 With Brendan... P.S It wasn't Richard you spoke to was it?
  4. Do not cross match rim sizes as it hammers the ATESSA It's one size all round or nothing.
  5. I am not a guru, But there sounded like a Knock in the background..... I thought I could just hear it over the noise of the lifters..... Possible other issues? Big End Bearing? As well as Belts slipping
  6. Hmmm funny, How each state is coming up with little clauses and costs... I know the second dealer here in Perth is charging a Premimum on Dealer Delivery on the GTR. As he is entitled to do, according to Nissan sources.
  7. From the Dealer Principle that my order is with here in Perth. Letter to be sent out in the mail today for persons with Tenative OTP to come in and sign Released OTP with final pricing as well as deposit. I am #5 on the list, and my sled will be ready in Sept '09 Steps outlined to me today on the phone, Siging on OTP Deposit. Build number assigned to you. Specs to be discussed with you (Full range of colour, and model: Black Edition or Premimum) Full tracking of vehicle whilst in production. 250 vehicles a year in Australia 10% of which to WA. One vehicle by law is to remain on dealer premises as future customers have to be able to see vehicle. So owner can only take delivery of their vehicle once the next vehicle hits the showroom... if you catch my wording here..... No one is allowed to drive your car whilst at the dealership.. This will system will relax once the dealer principles vehicle arrives. Cost will be as I posted above, Snowy is correct with the price difference of $4000.00 between the two as well as the tyres to the respective models. Nissan expects 99% of cars to be the premimum models. Sat Nav will be retro fitted at the beginning of 2010. Here are some the points I found interesting: Car's come with full Jap Spec setup.... You can leave them as is (Aggressive Syspension Setup) or for no fee you can have the vehicles suspension realigned to ease the wear rate on the rubber. All drive line components will be covered by Nissan even on the track, However the Black Box onboard will be checked to see of owner abuse. IE: using launch control 12 Times in a day is a bit much..... Common sense rule here I guess. Black box read out will also be shown to owners on request once vehicle has been in for a service to see how the techincian drove the car whilst in the dealers possesion. 3 inspections free on purchase and then servicing every 6 months or 10K cost is looking at 700 a service. Waiver to be signed when you sign OTP about recourse on the purchaser in regards to the quirks of the car... Squealing brakes Noises from suspension Noises from the clutch at idle etc Nissan Aust is understanding of what this car is (Read track weapon with plates) 3 year warranty / 100 K's Also Nissan will not service or sell parts to you if you own a grey import. All parts requested will have to have a vehicles VIN attached with the request. That is all for now. If you have any questions I will try and answer as best as I can... I am not a guru, just relaying what I was told on the phone this morning! Mike
  8. March Delivery ... April Sale Date... Price will be $152,000 Starting price.. Plus LTC, so for full spec on road $173,988 January training course for dealerships.

  21. No go in WA, Department of Planning and infrastructure (Sp?) has banned such plates due to IP. Yup, thats right WA law makers were sued, change of law happened in March, all new plates need to be vetted by the car companies now prior to issue..... Can you believe that.... IP on a plate....
  22. Allow the Karting gods to consult and we will get back to you. By the way, that trophy looks shit hot at Brads joint!
  23. I would be opposed to a move from Wanneroo International Kart Hire. The reasoning is from a competitive and a cost nature, Yes racing on Barbs would be great but the smaller , closer racing up the road has been widely commented as being the preffered option. The cost is another factor, In getting the same price with the owners at WIKH I has agreed to host at least 3 events a year there, so moving would not be in the interest of BlackSun Imports and of course the throphy event we setup. Mike
  24. Guys, The reason behind the rule changes, has got to do with IP and what they believe to be their property. Nissan and Holden have both filed lawsuits against DPI and in March DPI settled for a sum of close to 2.5Mil in regards to a claim filed. NISSAN have claimed IP on: GTR 35 GTR GTR 35 R35 Nigel even tried 23 GTR as 23 is Japanese is Ni-San Fail boat on that one too. DPI was going to take action against Nigel on behalf of NISSAN for the claimed infringement by Nigel. This has all been worked out now. But it is only in W.A As there are already 35 GTR's kicking around with similiar plates as above. All plates currently out, will not be affected, but new plates will be harder to get through. Clear as mud Mike
