  1. Yep drove it on Tuesday Unfortunately an auto and surprisingly I didn't like it in red. Thought I would have ...maybe dropped with decent rims and I'd think differently
  2. Hmmm I suppose I could wash it everyday then Niz
  3. Hmmm Red looks OK sometimes
  4. Hmm Red doesn't look to bad either sometimes
  5. Ohhh I wish!!! That would be THE colour for me but unfortunately Nissan didn't see fit to paint them that colour Black is the last option for me. Sure they look great for the first 5 minutes after you wash them. Daughter really wanted a Black Astra. After 6 months she now said she wished she'd bought another colour.Didn't dare try the "I told you so" line
  6. Joe I think that one is Pearl White. Wish they came in the 350Z Yellow or R34 solid Yellow
  7. How fast you had them through the tunnel under the creek? They LHD? Cheers
  8. Thinking of a V35 later this year when they become available What colour looks best? Here is a site with more pics http://www.cardomain.com/member_pages/sear...Coupe&x=25&y=13
  9. Thinking about a V35 later this year. What colour do you think looks best?
  10. I'd expect anywhere from 3-6 weeks from landing to screwing numberplates on
  11. Yep I think you're right ..white or silver

    Fremantle Dockers

    Let's hope so
  13. Well I finally got to see one in the metal today and drive it (thanks for the intro Driftt) The car is certainly bigger than I expected but nice even though the red colour just didn't do it fo me or the missus. Unfortunately it was a tiptronic auto but off the mark I'd say it would eat my old R34 auto until the turbo boosted up. Didn't drive it hard though as you have to respect a car that will become someones pride and joy one day but it certainly felt willing enough. The dealer told me I'll be pleasantly surprised by the price when they start selling them so I think I'll hang off on a 350Z till they can show me a 6 speed manual with Bremo brakes. Pity they don't come in the 350 yellow but maybe the white or blue will look good to me when I see it. But first impression was extremely good. Still a Skyline in feel and fun factor just more developed and mature. Cheers Chris
  14. Yep and minus understeer, weak gearbox and weak clutch

    Fremantle Dockers

Yep I'm a financial member of the Dockers but I support all WA football. That's why I hate Derbys. Often have people rag me about the Dockers...usually WCE fans. They say "ha bloody Dockers I support the eagles" I ask you're a member then ? they often say no but I watch them on the TV every week........Armchair experts don't put their money where their mouths are but are the first to get off them if they're not going well. Perth needs both teams to do well to create a healthy enviroment for WA football helped by the money both clubs tip into state football. I don't believe it's the Dockers year this year so would dearly love to see WCE with a third this year.
  16. Anyone here go to the game yesterday and take part in the It was cool what got me was the noise as it approched and went by.
  17. I'd love to Next year thinking about a MX5 fitted with SR20DET motor (well at least it's half Nissan)
  18. G35 "Skyline" is actually G35 Infinity for the American market. Same car virtually but left hand drive.
  19. Yeah it is wrong on sooo many levels Brett I would've traded my REX on your GTR had I known in time it was for sale. I heard it was for sale after the fact...damm I love that Purple
  20. XR6 with turbo only manages 14's GTS stock I read does high 13's to 14 depending on the day and tester. I would be very suprised if that car weighing close to commodore more power less torque and traction problems could put down a 12. Love to see it do it and prove me wrong though. Anyway that's enough from me .If we all looked for the same thing from a car it would be a boring car scene Cheers
  21. Is N1K quick? No one knows Can't see it doing low 13's or maybe 12's with all that gear unless someone can show a timeslip
  22. Sorry Rezz my term for leather I hate leather seats..hot in summer..cold in winter..side bolsters get creases in them within a month and look crap...slippery in corners Smells nice though. I know the G35's come with leather but was hoping the V35 didn't
  23. Hey guys I want to modify my WRX. What do you think about this? :aroused: http://www.members.optusnet.com.au/~aedenn...orester/ATV.htm Cheers Chris
  24. Sooner have R34 GTR no question. Stock GTR would hose it in dry conditions not to mention wet with all that extra weight and aerodynamic drag a widebody would produce and that's without factoring cornering ability into it. But park cars side by side in Murray st not many would notice the GTR. Cars are a bad investment at the best of times You also have to ask yourself when I sell in say 3 years time which car would be worth more AND easier to sell. The GTR would be worth say $45k that GTS substantially less. Sure it's great to have a one off but there are disadvantages as well. Some goose rear ends you and you have to source body panels. Car repair maybe takes 6 months not 6 weeks (guess only) Time for sale 10 people looking for GTR's compared to 1 looking for an oddball car. I admire anyone who has the guts to build a car such as this and in this case it is a brilliant example but it's also one of the fastest ways to do your dough this side of the high rollers room at the Casino Cheers
  25. OK thanks That's good news as I have a pet hate about "vinyl" seats
