When you say WEX do you mean the std one or an STI? Stock WRX and GTT would be close to each other I think but an STI would be long gone but not as quick as a 34GTR in a straight line. Got my auto R34 down to 13.6 400m at the Motorplex with same mods as yours plus hiflow turbo and e-manage. My 02 WRX with similar mods to your mates 05 plus chip cracks 13.8 The WRX is a great car for sure but I still miss my Skylines..something to be rectified soon Cheers

Where can I get this controller? Never felt at home with WRX handling on the limit. Would prefer more bias to the rear for sure. Yep CPV35 6Sp manual for me if ever anyone gets to comply them (seems to be taking forever)

The Liberty engine seems to be good for a 2 litre too It has more power and torque than the WRX mill WRX Max. output (DIN) kW/rpm 168/6000 Max. torque (DIN) Nm/rpm 300/3600 Liberty Max. output (DIN) kW/rpm 190/6400 Max. torque (DIN) Nm/rpm 330/2400 10% more torque 1200rpms earlier. That engine in a WRX would make the WRX much nicer round town. How would a boosted WRX compare to a 32GTR? I'm trading my WRX for a daily driver V35 and getting a 32GTR for weekend fun

That's what I've heard from people who have owned both. The '05 sti is a huge improvement but I think I'd rather have the GTR thanks if I could afford it.

Yeah it was OK Couple of horrid (IMHO) Imports which had so much metalflake in the paint looked like they'd been attacked by a gang of Fairys. (Magical type not tradesmen) An LS1 powered 33 with lower dyno HP than other GTS's was interesting. Best fun was counting the Mullets

You forgot to answer my first question How do you know the gearbox/diff/CV's etc are OK?

Was it brought in under the 15yo rule? How do you know the condition of the driveline and engine with a busted clutch? Cheers
