I had considered putting a Q45 engine into a CPV35 Skyline but was told they weigh so much more than a VQ35DE engine. Did you weigh the engine at all as I would be interested to know. A V35 V8 non supercharged would be a nice daily driver i think. Cheers

I've had a WRX for 3 years now and it's a great car that also comes as a hatch. Driven the new Golf DSG and liked it but would miss the power. Personally I'm updating to a V35 Skyline coupe as soon as I can but for everyday transport why not wait and check out the Mazda 6 MPS due out in a couple of months

Where can you get Veilside kits from in Perth? Their kit for the V35 looks OK so I'd consider it when I get the car Not sure about the rear wing though

Seems to me that this cop is a good guy. He could have baited someone into a drag meet or whatever and lay in wait to book everyone once things got started. But no he came right out and gave a warning to all. How do you make the reading font size bigger?

Yes I did donate so I can complain right? One skin is hard for an old bloke to read the other seems so bright it gives me a headache. I appreciate what the mods do unpaid that why I was happy to donate and will do in future as I enjoy it so much here. I've had a WRX for 3 years now and this is still my favourite hangout (WRX forums seemed to have cornered the market di*kheads IMHO ). Just being part of this community has influenced me partly to go fo a V35 and return from the darkside. Having said that I do find I'm spending more time on other forums at present that are easier to live with even if the inhabitants there arent. Let's hope it improves soon Keep up the good work Christian even if I can't understand why something that wasn't broken needed fixing Cheers

Mate your a hard man. Your going on about the new GTR that won't be seen or built for another 2 years yet you want all of them destroyed. We are talking about the present Skyline GT coupe here. Yeah the V35 is ugly look at these cops even with a bodykit they're not aggressive. But it will do for me it's the kit I have on order

When you open a thread how do you read new posts. Before there was a statement "read new posts" to click on but now it's gone. I have to go to last page and search backwards. I'm sure there is a way like some little icon but nothing seems to be self intuitive with this V2. I'm not normally one to resist change but this V2 seems to be a change for the sake of it and at present is crap. Maybe I'm too early critisising these changes . Lets hope the mods can fix/fine tune it.

I agree with Ian 100% It's terrible for these old eyes to read. My PM count also went from 25 to over 100%. Let's hope the bugs are ironed out soon. What was wrong with the old version anyway ? Sounds like a good deal Michael. Let's hope you don't bid for someone win it and have them back out. Maybe you should charge a deposit prior to bid if you don't know the person. I'd be interested in getting a set of coilovers and staggered wheels to suit a CPV35 Skyline. You say you can send wheels but if they come with tyres is that too large to transport? Cheers Chris

Yeah probably Roy but as a Nissan man I decided to go with what feels right to me I guess. V35 might be a bit more exclusive plus with 98 octane hitting $1.22 at my local garage 5.7litre cars resale could go down the toilet. For info the new 260kW Monaro does 400m in 14.2 while a stock G35 (on 91 octane fuel) in the US can crack between 14.2 to 14.4 (depending on driver ) stock That tells me that a stock V35 will give a GTS-t a run for it's money . Unfortunately doesn't take much to make a 33 go harder wereas the V35 will take a heap of cash

The boot of the coupe is about same as R33 but the seats laydown as well which is good How's this for a boot photo ? sorry outside not inside
