  1. heya cara, i ran the extractor group buy. i knew a guy who was selling his extractors since he was selling his car, but i'm not sure if he's changed his mind... try getting in contact with this guy: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=159047 we got ours from a place over in new zealand. it's been a total nightmare for me to organize it, they aren't the best in terms of communication, and i was constantly on the phone trying to chase them up. i initially only ran one group buy, but everyone wanted a 2nd one most of them have received theirs. we are waiting on two who opted for a slightly slower delivery method. if you really want i can PM you their web address and details, but i wouldnt be promoting their services freely after the headaches i had to deal with. the alternative is to order a set of fujitsubo from japan, you are looking at $1600+ delivery. another alternative is RB30 extractors (easily located within australia) and having the flanges cut off and modified to fit your exhaust ports. cheers eug
  2. noel, like a few others have said the imports tend to head down in their own little organized events, i.e. skidpans, track days, etc. that said - there is a serious lack of QLD facilities and support in motorsport, one look at all the regulations and rules involved with places like mt. cotton, lakeside, darlington park, etc. there's no wonder why events like the upcoming skidpan is planned 2 months in advance at a facility 2 hours away. here's another: go start an event build it and they will come, you'd be surprised at the turn out for a well planned outing cheers eug
  3. arkon is correct... by the time you do brakes, gearbox, etc... you're looking at much more money... the only thing feasible would be to throw a completely different motor in there... i.e. V8 like NA_R33
  4. what does this kit include?
  5. are both the front wheels off the ground? you cannot do one side at a time as umm... one of the components (steering rack? cant remember) applies pressure onto the hub. found out the hard way when i was doing my gear... was too lazy to put axle stands so i had two trolley jacks either side.
  6. what headers did you get from just jap? i asked them ages ago and they had nothing... i agree with the hideous, it's got a very umm... "raspy" note to it... would be keen to hear the hi-tech nick... i've been speaking to someone else, who has a trust catback... would like to hear that too...
  7. what's going on?
  8. what size is the muffler?
  9. no worries Sean, keep us updated... glad i could help Nick, what catback do you have? that actually sounds pretty good (pre-extractors), how does it sound higher in the rev range? i might have to get some audio files of mine... i'm not quite happy with the catback (stock 33GTR for the moment) it's a cheaper temporary alternative. below 4K mine is pretty sweet, when i get up it and want to hit the tracks or a skidpan it just has a loud metallic scream which isnt quite what i'm after.
  10. the r33 rb25de gearbox is the same as the the r32 rb20det
  11. i had my mechanic send my calipers away to be rebuilt... not the cheapest thing to do, but braking inspires much much more confidence. it'd be better to ask for one specific to the r33gtst, cant hurt to ask whoever. i think you can get a rebuild kit from nissan (dont know what it includes but)... mine have been: - completely disassembled, cleaned - pistons replaced - re-sleeved - rubber boot/seals replaced - nipples and banjo bolts replaced - re-assembled
  12. someone sell me their VQ35 then V36 certainly looks pretty tasty
  13. LMAO!!! Bad luck Noel, Can I suggest highflowed injectors. i havent personally used it, but warwick has. what you do is purchase them, and they send you highflowed injectors (550cc?????). you then install them and send your ones back to them for cashback, so they can highflow yours for the next customer. works out quite well i heard, maybe someone can shed more light onto it.
  14. can we use that big hairpin sweeper on saturday? are any of the other nearby courses open for events?
  15. do these recline? how much for postage to 4068? thanks
  16. Joshwa... wwwhaaat the faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaark?!`
  17. Penis PAGE! who wants to touch me?
  18. so you are using R32 GTR (non vspec or vspec?) rotors with R32 GTST Type M calipers? would you run R32 GTR pads? or GTST pads?
  19. find one with an RB25, or are they not exempt from p-plate laws? when done right, an NA can be quite fun... my car certainly isnt the fastest in a straight line - but i've found that it teaches you to be a better driver.
  20. it is a cut and weld job yes... respray would be dependent on where you cut it.
  21. oh right.. i'm thinking about variable timing... my mistake. looks like it's down to the neo vs. safc2 thanks.
  22. no one has anything to say about the cam switch on/off feature on the gizzmo camfc??? where it be they've tried it or not, or have any opinions, etc. is it more suited to having aftermarket cam shafts? theoretically if it doesnt knock on the dyno whilst tuning, it shouldnt knock any other time (and in my case R33 GTS25) there's not much risk of knocking. since SAFC2's and SAFC Neo's are around the same price...
